Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
I agree with most of what you say, but my guess is that Wes and Mike are busy elsewhere, they probably made one each and moved on to other challenges. Anderson Grubb probably moved also, designers do not seem to linger more than 2-3 years in a theme before they are circulated. Have anyone except Jamie made more than one or two? My guess would be someone new or maybe Marcos Bessa finally get the chance, would be interesting to see what he could make -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Roebuck replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Looking at the minifigs in the botanical garden I assume Chris McVeigh is the designer and looks like he have moved to the Ideas theme now, so then it will be interesting to see who have designed the next modular. -
Looks like there is a dog in the botanical garden set, but maybe not the dachshund in the submission? Could be other animals like butterflies in a set like that also Edit it's the puppy from City, I also see a small red bird, white rabbit and brown squirrel so not too exciting Odd if there are not any butterflies..

LEGO City 2025 SETS - Leaks, rumours, discussion. (Animals too)
Roebuck replied to Powered by Bricks's topic in LEGO Town
Depends on how many animals there is included in the set😜 -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Roebuck replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would hope for a farm, but a Joust, forestmen set (depends if they take the BL sets into consideration at all) or maybe black knights are more likely I guess Why they have not done that a long time ago is beyond me And a new barding or two please 4 should be a minimum, but Lego is so stingy with horses these days so I fear 2. We got a D2C joust set over a decade ago, but even then it only had 2 horses -
A good point, will be interesting to see what mould they use there🤔 Same 😅

It is 10 years since we got the last normal Pirates wave, so Lego has probably decided that kids nowadays do not like Pirates enough. As long as we get a set every 3 years that is fine by me. Personally I have less interest in ships than other sets from the line, since they are rather similar most of them

Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
Roebuck replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
My favorite fraction is the raven/crow, love those colors so voted for that, but some of the other would be nice to get as well. Griffin fit very well with the style of older ones and I see a lot voted kraken, the bull is my least favorite one since that one came with subpar sets typical of that time.. -
Whispers on wind, take it with a grain of salt as usual.. Yes hopefully it is because most people buy it fast not that it's not selling well. However B-bay was sold out for months so that was really strange. Space set had a short shelf-life as well, but Castle seem to last longer..

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Roebuck replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
Rather worryingly they have increased the price of the nazgul torso in some countries! Is that something they will start with now, increase the price of product's that sell out quickly?! Should decrease it on other parts that are not selling well then PAB will work as a stock marked -
2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
Roebuck replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
We got a lot of carts in the -80-90, I do not understand why Lego do not make one as a GWP, seems like a no-brainer to me. -
Looks like it is Space with Blacktron next year
-
I agree Some of the new animals are still standard, but I assume they will be moved soon as well. I have a lot in my shopping cart, but will wait until a better GWP for me since the animals are that expensive I need something to sweeten the deal The red panda is probably better to just buy from BL or get the set on sale

On one hand micro-scale would make sense, but on the other hand they made Barad-dur at least semi minifig-scale. While the Hogwarts sets is great I personally have not much interest in micro-scale, it is the minifigs, animals etc and sets for them that are most interesting I find

It looks like this was a false leak! Unfortunately it makes this news more uncertain also since they came from the same site

Depends on the price I guess, the newly released crocodile parts are mostly in stock. I fear the tiger and adult gorilla will be so expensive so a lot of people will either buy the set or use BL etc Time will show, I will wait until all parts are bestseller in a few weeks and a nice GWP is up for grabs

Yes I know there is most likely space next year, but they got so much this year Castle is the bestselling of the 3 is my guess, but if nothing change 2026 there is

Sometimes it actually is better to be blissfully ignorant so I get your point, with the MTS I had huge expectations for a year after that damm survey leak. Was expecting maybe one of the best sets off all time with a lot of animals and minifigs, instead we got a decent set restricted by budget with one goat and few minifigs In this set I expect Gandalf in the horse-drawn carriage, but maybe some hobbits tending crops, vegetables and maybe a pig and a couple of sheep if we are lucky like in the movie:
