    Mmm sceptic First of all tigers do not live on the same continent as gorillas and chimpanzees! Second from what I could see on the pictures several have the crocodile mould including the starter set, strange not to mention that when mentioning all other animals.. Explorers that steel gold from natives do not sound like something Lego would make today Also have not the sports theme turned out to be a friends subtheme? Lastly do the toy fairs normally show D2C sets like the pirates of the Caribbean set most likely are?

    Hi and welcome It could be the friends dolphin mould yes.. But it is only a preliminary picture, they often put in similar pieces in those pictures e.g. minifigs are usually different from the final set. The pieces are most likely not finished when they take the pictures.. It has never happen that they have used a minidoll animal in a minifig set and I guess they will not start now They have always made a new more realistic mould when they make a minifig animal even if the animal already existed in the minidoll world So the lobster in the set will most likely change colour, the dog will change colour and maybe breed, the dolphin "will be a minifig one" and the parrot might change colour and even species

    A dolphin, a red lobster, a white dog and a red/green parrot in one set And that is before we have entered the jungle The animals will probably change in colour etc but they are definitely in the set Pigeons in a future set in the series do seem a loot more likely now

    I agree! The only thing I want from the Batman wave is the lobster From a normal wave I get 8-12 different figs and many of the ones with a new animal mould

    Several of the jungle sets also include the crocodile mould Will be interesting to see which member of the order Crocodilia they will be, my guess is caiman

    If we end up with jaguars that would be great, the black version is most likely no problem to use as a black leopard and the normal one probably will work fine as a leopard as well If we end up with a tiger that is also fine, the main point is that we get a big cat mould finally I guess it is a better chance we get tigers and lions in other sets in the future then a jaguar/leopard version of the mould.. Will be interesting to see if there is a small hole or something similar around the head to attach a male lion`s mane I very good guess then Yes hopefully we will get several species in the years to come There are rumours that we will get a dolphin and the lobster in a "alive colour" as well this summer, so seems like a excellent year for animal moulds

    Maybe, just a stand in, they are preliminaries after all If not that is the first minidoll animal mould that have made the cross over to the minifig world. Seems rather unlikely

    Thanks for the info Kevii23 Fun at the beach sounds even better than fun in the park! I was hoping for a lobster, but dolphin as well X-mas is coming early this year from Lego I bet it is a updated mould Did you see the dolphin in the coast guard sets?! What about seagulls and sharks? I agree that the new big cat looked like a jaguar/black panther

    I agree, the polar bear in Arctic and all the underwater creatures in deep sea live in the environment, but it is not why the minifigs are there. On the other hand the animals bring a lot of possibility's to the set like play features, scenarios, danger and are a real eye-catcher

    A big cat mould it is, but there are some uncertainty to which species in the Pantherinae subfamily Definitely no gorilla More or less spot on from what I could make out of the pictures, have you had a peek also But I think is is more likely that it is a jaguar and a black panther from the Amazonian rainforest

    Go and have a guess in "Guess the next animal mould round 2" in Special LEGO Themes I hope the fun on the beach set will include a "alive" lobster piece

    Thanks for the info :) I was hoping 60156 - Jungle Buggy, was something like 60090-Deep Sea Scuba Scooter with a large animal, but is sounds like 7736 -Coast Guard Quad Bike I wonder if the Coast Guard wave will include animals as well, sharks seem likely at least, a new dolphin would be great

    Hehe You guys are suppose to guess It is hard to give a general enough hint, but I will try From what I could see the animal came in two different variations. The variation could be: 1 sex (like the deer in 10584 male/female) 2 colour (like the Lego cow brown/black and white) 3 age (like the horses in 6404 adult/juvenile)

    Hehe, yes! The pictures was so small so the only animals I had a chance of spotting where the ones that are bigger than minifigs So unless they start including them in CMF s17 it is safe to say it will be new! I hope the sets (and CMF s17 also) will include several new animal moulds, and I is likely since a lot of animals are smaller than humans

    I got a sneak peek of the city jungle sets yesterday The picks were tiny and time limited, but I saw one new animal mould that I believe people will be happy to get Personally I was very existed when I saw it

    I am betting the updated parrot mould was made for the city jungle series, since they usually do not make new moulds for modular buildings

    First they made it in to a robot and now a zombi Why can't they give us the normal version of the shark If that is in a pirate set I will most likely not buy it Hopefully it is in a ninjago set or similar

    Finally the vignettes are back! This one looks very nice, my only complaint is that the bird is brick built not a mould.. I guess the Easter one will be revealed soon, if there is a picture of it like last year in the building instructions

    Some of us has been waiting a long time for the shepherd fig, or more specifically the animal mould accompanying it Hopefully the wait is soon over I am hoping for a sheep, but a goat in a different colour would also be nice I made a graph based on how many animal moulds each normal minifig series had. I gave old mould and old colour 0,5 points, old mould and new colour 1 points and new mould 2 points. Then I summarised the score and put it in the graph, lets hope series 17 will keep up the good trend
