Hi and welcome Yes, I think so. We have had 3 earlier Lego hut's based on film 1 and 2, so now I believe we will get a hut based on film 3 with two parts (but without aragog the spider even if he is in the D2C).. Looking forward to more leaks hopefully a Fang and or Padfoot mould so we can discuss something more interesting then minifigs details! Personally I love that we are getting a lot of new and different minifigs, but the tedious discussions about what kind of underwear they have or if the actor had 2 different socks on the day of recording is not my cup of tea

unsure if Lego knows that

Nice, but I think they will ad something more, maybe nagini I doubt voldemort will be that cute in the set (if they make one)

75950-1: Aragog's Lair cost £12.99 / $14.99 / 19.99€ depending on the currency, I guess it is the same here so in Lego 15 dollars is the same as 20 euro
-
Well the starter sets costs 10$ e.g. Jungle Starter Set - 60157, it has 88 pieces, 3 figs and several animals including a crocodile, so a HP set costing 15$ with a few more parts is not impossible even if it has e new mould

It is good I guess so they can have a different color on the antler in the future, but ideally it should have been 2 different moulds To be picky the legs are to fat and i am unsure if they are cloven-footed

Great news! The wolf is not from HP, unless it is from a future FB film (not very likely).. I was expecting the deer to be white, but do not matter it is in future sets with a natural color that is important. Lego is clearly thinking ahead, since it have room for a saddle or a sledge, maybe we get it in a advent calendar this year with a sledge To bad part of the antler is not shown, but it look like a red deer as I was hoping for and not some American species we usually get Buckbeak also look amazing , and he can bow

Yes, congratulations, I am crossing my fingers that it passes the review stage as well

I totally agree (no big surprise there )! The heads can be swapped, but either you have the animal mould or you have some bricks, there is no way you can swap the bricks to get a non-existing mould I am pretty sure that is a different budget, but if we get half the polybags that theme get we should be happy
-
No, the safest is to get them when they show up, but if you later decide you need more, then sometimes the price is lower. I think it has to do with availability, when a new animal pops up everyone is ordering like crazy, then maybe a year later people have "forgot" about it and if Lego has a lot of the part they may lower the price sometimes.. Some animals end up like licensed parts just because they happen to be in a licensed set the first time e.g. the lobster, but that is available now I think, so it can change over time If you do not know it is also possible to phone in an order, and get other parts that are not available online yet, maybe the bird also It was in a Harry Potter book build, so I am sure it will be in other sets soon, finely a minidoll animal the rest of us can use as well

Lego Bricks & pieces is a good place to buy animals, if they are expensive there they may get cheaper as times goes, e.g. the crabs just dropped a lot in price in 2019 There is a new Easter pod coming including the white bunny, so hopefully the price on the bunny will drop now that it included in more and small sets

Hermione is around 15 and a lot of girls is fully grown at that age, so would not be strange if she also uses it

Right tread: Maybe we have discussed the idea already (?) but what about a collectible series like mixels just with a minifig, the proper patronus animal for the fig and a small build Could that be something Lego would make, a excellent way of getting patronus animals easy without using a lot of the mould budget in a wave. They could off course be included in last battle sets or a room of requirement set
-
Yes, but even if they are not in the 1HY catalogue they will be in shops in May I guess, they probably turn up in a web-shop photo before that even
-
I assume we are getting more leaks of moulds and minifigs in the time to come, but the sets themselves could stay hidden for a long time. Unless the June wave is in the Lego catalogue, which I do not think it is for this first half of the year?! Lego are really keeping a tight lid over things now, even something like city is under wraps still
-
If they wanted they could easily make 7 sets just from one movie , that's why we have a lot to look forward to even after the first 4 waves
-
I think the only reason they included figs from 3 in one set last year, was because they really wanted to make the train and then the dementor scene is most iconic from the train.. This and the coming waves they will limit to 2 films to get most out of them. Had we got 8 sets from 1-2 last year, COS would definitely be a set now, but they where unsure of the success, pretty sure that is not the case any longer
-
Last year I believe it was 3 HP sets and 2 FB sets in the retailer catalogue, this year it was 5 HP I think, so the chance that we are getting any FB sets this year is slim.. Well the advent calendar could have maybe 25% FB stuff I wonder if I bother buying the city calendar this year, because it is no question at all that I will be getting the HP one
-
It that is right with that price then it better be one good looking moulded dragon and the pieces go into other builds Does anyone remember/have info about the numbers in the retail catalogue? It was 5 sets I believe, the advent calender and limited sets will most likely be in addition to those.

Well some of the "first generation" animals stand the test of time pretty good, and I would have much preferred a herd of "old" bison in my collection than nothing like now E.g. elephant and horse foal

Ditto! Ideally he should be able to rear as well so he can give Draco a lesson He are more similar to a horse than the skeletal skinny thestral, so it should be possible to give him both moments as the horse have

https://ideas.lego.com/projects/fcf1dec0-bdf7-48c7-9da7-95fd68e41480/updates#content_nav_tabs Finely classic pirates have a chance with the priates bay, a fabulous set that I hope Lego make

Me too I was a little surprised that the thestral did not have the possibility, do not get me wrong it is a amazing mould! Maybe it cost more money since they need to make extra moulds for the hind legs and the head and they did not have the money to do that last year (this year it should be no problem with a fresh budget) or it is because of the big hole on the middle make it to fragile with moving parts
