  1. That was a bummer, they are even more secretive then last year Maybe one set in NY again
  2. The suspense is killing me
  3. We may not get any pictures, but set descriptions of several HP set I believe is very likely
  4. Regarding brick-built vs moulded creatures. The way I see it is that with brick-built animals, it is possible to make them yourself or copy the design of other builders. Even-tough there are some very good brick-built animals out there made by you guys or in sets, the ones in system scale is by default less realistic looking then moulds of the same animal. The minfigs are not brick-built so they combine better with moulded animals. In addition a animal mould sometimes only come in one or two sets, so a single set could be our only chance to get a mould of a specific animal ever. Those who prefer brick-built, can sell the animal mould for more money than the bricks cost required to build the same animal
  5. Interesting that they include it, so I am sure we well see it in more sets soon, but is not that the same print as in Aladdin?
  6. I think they will make a new mould for padfoot, they will not use it for Fang.. Either they will make a new Fang mould or not include him in the set. They have a new fresh mould budget this time, and they made plenty last year they do not need to do now.. So I hope they will make at least 2-3 new animals/creatures moulds this year And by the way not being so stingy with the owls this wave
  7. Haha I did not notice either, but is not that rather strange God point! Could very vell be
  8. Thanks for the info Here are last years sets to compare: 75950-157 parts-2 figs-20€ 75951-132 parts-2 figs/1 big animal-30€ 75952-694 parts-4 figs-50€ 75953-753 parts-6 figs-70€ 75954-878 parts-10 figs-100€ 75955-801 parts-6 figs-80€ 75956-500 parts-6 figs-40€ I wonder what is up with the gap before 75957..
  9. Well in this poll you vote for one fig and one figs accessories. So the giraffe should not get a single vote based on his accessories! And I do not think he does either, personally I voted for him, because he is very well made. Most of the other are below par, if they had put him in a normal series I would probably rate several more interesting figs over him. By the way the plant was in last years WW series with Neville
  10. I think everything is possible for this theme, even a evergreen scenario and definitely COS. That said I think Lego have made a plan probably with 4 waves and 2 movies in each (more or less). Because of the lag in time from an idea until it is a new set in shops, we want see any change of that plan until next year. Maybe they have managed to move next years wave to this year, but that is maximum of what they can manage I think.. Off-course by now they know that the sets are selling like crazy so 1 of 2 things in likely to happen; They keep to the original plan maybe with a few extra sets from 4-8 the next 2 years, then they start over and make sets they did skip the first round (and or remake some sets like SW do with millennium falcon) Or Lego starts making sets they skipped and start mix them in with wave 3 and 4 Either way a COS is likely and possible in the long run as long as the sets keep selling this good, and I am sure a COS set would sell very well also
  11. As you say it is licensed and we already have one good one, so this is a recycling fig more or less with a licensed twist. It is like with the band member, the first one could have gotten a few votes in a poll back in the day, but now we have so many and a all time high (low) with 4 in this series that most have lost the interest in them
  12. It may very vel be that the comment is bogus, but I also find it unlikley that lego only had one new set the toyfair Well it could be several reasons why they do not revel some sets in a wave along with the rest, maybe they are missing a new mould, not finished in time etc..
  13. Sound odd, the rest more likely besides the fact that they do not show the small sets only big ones
  14. You could be right, have not seen the new bigger bags yet
  15. Thanks for the info, it sounds like a plausible list and it makes sense that it leaks now during London toy fair, but I take it with a grain of salt so far.. Expecto Patronum probably Harry and a dementor and a deer mould() could also include a second dementor and or Sirius Tri-wizard Challenge depends on the size 1 of 3 probably 1 or 2 Hagrid’s Hut very likely a new Buckbeak mould and maybe even a new Fang mould Knight Bus maybe a new Paddfot mould Hogwarts Watch Tower probably based on the end of POA; Buckbeak, Sirius, Harry, Hermione, maybe madam Pomfrey and a dementor Hopefully it is true because it sound like a great list! 2 points; it is from 3-4, not a big surprise, but strange if it is coming this year already. Then next year is 5-6 and 7-8 in -21, off course they could start making all the missing sets and or start over after that. They have probably realised how big a money maker this theme is and stepped on the gas pedal.. No FB sets wonder what that means, they are probably not selling as well as HP, but they are still excellent sets who I assume are selling OK
  16. WW is the most likely place that will pop up, probably to big for the minifigseries
  17. Thanks for the heads up guys The crabs have become much cheaper so I bought some tan as well as the new purple one , the red is also back after several years for those in need Tan frogs had a ok price, but the tan scorpion is expensive so only got 2 of those.. Turned out I could use VIP point for the hole order also
  18. I am longing for a normal series, it has been way to long In the beginning we got 3 series a year now it is 1 series every other year I admit that the WW was a bullseye to me, but usually the licensed series give me little or nothing of figs and accessorizes I want.. And the specialized series is way to uniform, we need a normal series with something for everyone Every fig with a different animal in series 20 would be a dream come true, but it is probably Ms gold
  19. Probably nothing at all, since it still will be on cinemas in 2020. Lego apparently had very little info to go on when making 75951 Grindelwald's escape due to all the secrecy. I assume it is the same this time around, and off course sets from a new movie can be potential bestsellers. On the other hand it is much easier for the designer to make sets from HP since all the movies is made and all the details is known by now. So design wise it would probably be better to make sets from FB 1-2 next year and wait with FB3 sets to after 2020, but they will naturally have minimum 1 set from the new movie as usual
  20. Yes, that would increase the animal population quick since Lego loves nothing more than to include costumed figs in the cmf, but I guess it would be hard to fit a elephant and a giraffe in the bag at least
  21. That would be great Since the minidolls have one I guess it is somewhat more likely They got a penguin, later we got a system penguin. Minidolls got a dolphin then we got a updated system dolphin etc..
  22. It has never been photos at London if I recall correctly, but we usually have had detail reports since fan sites like Brickset has been invited.. Unfortenally that seems not to be the case this year, but hopefully we have a spy or two in the retailer ranks
  23. As far as I remember, Lego was for some reason not present on the London fair so notting there off course. In Nuremberg they had the sets on display, but only (some?) retailers had access to they room where they kept them.. In New York they had the GH on public display.. So it is a fair chance they will have HP sets on display in London, the question is if we have a spy there Brickset and other fan sites are not invited, so it could point to that Lego have something to hide there
  24. Well we will not get any pictures, but some info on the sets may leak as it did last year If we get enough info to pinpoint the sets we are getting that would be great
