A big reason 3-1 is not my thing, this is most likely a classic castle set made in 2021 so I have little hope that I find it very useful
-
I think so, the juvenile cat came in -95 and those are the only ones I can remember on the top of my head I guess we will see, but the cat could be a stand in I guess, however another mould may be pushing it since we got 3 already (and probably a new lion head since that make sense)

The thing is that I believe that most Castle fans just want a amazing Castle set, what fractions it is in the set matters less to most people. Yes a lot have their favourites, but a potential set would look so different from any old set with raised baseplates anyway so I do not think it matters much (unless they give us a yellow castle with brickbuilt horses aka classic castle).. While I agree that this would be a better option from the beginning, the "Castle- category", would have been just Castle. Classic Castle is a subtheme that got 12603 votes and at first glance seems like the most popular Castle-subtheme, however I believe that a lot of the voters misunderstood like you do and thought it was a "all castle theme" grouped into one and voted for that. The rest of the castle subthemes got 34289 votes combined so if most voters is not to fuzzy about the fraction as long as they get one of them this is the way to go I agree even if pirates is my favourite theme of the 4 , however once again the category is just "Castle"

Welcome back and thanks for the info Are there any other big parts beside the cats in 60301 since the set is so pricey I mean (was sure the elephant was coming in that set because of the price, but maybe that is just how the 4+ sets roll) Was not expecting juvenile animals so this is sounding even better than I hoped for and there is even one big set and poly left Yes any set that give me this number of animals can look however bad it likes (i still hope they are decent so they sell a lot) Any other themes with any animals in them that you noticed?

That means the oldest stuff with yellow castle and brickbuilt horses, so I assume you mean castle the category that is in the vote now

Time will tell

Lego better not do a another year like -19 without a single owl or they will have to answer to me
-
What about using one of the DA shoppers as a shop-owner in the ones we do not know the owner, Lego has a lot to choose from there in future sets Do you know if there are any owls or other moulded animals in the sets? Fawkes would make sense at least in COS Definitely, they are just saving the fan favourites for future sets

I applaud their efforts, but if we keep the customer pressure up sooner or later the goat will return

It may be, the theory being that give the kids a wave, then wait a few years to get new kids in the right pirate-age. However the first years we got new sets every year so the kids could collect them for several years until they got to old. In addition only 2 points is not a very strong dataset to make future predictions on I remain hopeful that Lego are working on new big set to target the adults that bought B-Bay. A normal wave of sets aimed for kids would not compete with that rather add to it

Could be, but even then it was a outlier Ideas set definitely lives in the poor part of Lego design town yes Would be interesting to know, maybe it is every set for themself with a low budget and recently it became possible to get an additional budget towards minifigs if that was necessary Maybe, and I think printing has something to do with it since animals like the frog without printing cost the same as other bricks. The bonsai has 101 for crying out loud Yes, it is a minifig-eater, the normal ones can only take a leg at the time

Latest goat news: https://jaysbrickblog.com/news/forging-the-medieval-blacksmith-interview-with-lego-designers-wes-talbott-and-austin-carlson/ "On the lack of goats Wes and Austin (and nearly everyone at LEGO it seems) were well aware of how coveted the Goat element is, especially since it was only released in one set in 2011 Mill Village Raid. The problem stems from the LEGO moulds in use – some of them have to be given up to start making frames for new moulds, and the mould has disappeared from existence. Knowing how important goats are to LEGO fans, the designers went so far as to escalate this to the Vice President of Design, but alas that didn’t quite pan out the way they meant." Hopefully next time they have better luck, the more pressure/demand from us the sooner they will give in "On on the topic of animals, why weren’t there any other animals such as chickens? Were any farm-type animals that didn’t make the cut? Wes: This kind of along the horse scenario – we have to work within these limitations and have to choose between things like expensive animals. Whether it’s a couple chickens or even one chicken or one horse. Sometimes the smaller stuff takes more than you would think to produce. So in this case, we felt like the horse was really the the strongest addition to the set because it draws the carriage, plus we could make it in a new colour and it’s a larger animal overall. So, yeah, I would have loved to have some chickens, but I’d have to make some cuts somewhere else." There is something really strange with the cost of the animals: why are there so expensive to make? a horse cost the same as a chicken? That makes no sense! and why was Mill village raid able to include all those animals without apparently lacking anything else like minifigs, parts and buildings, but it is almost impossible for other bigger sets to include more than 1 or 2

At least goats are useful, the same can not be said about pearl gold minifigs Hopefully Strange that we have not gotten her yet, she has a bigger part than a lot of the figs we have gotten so far Penelope Clearwater was she in the film? If Hermione is not included she want be either, maybe in a future set

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Roebuck replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
On the other side parts that come in to stock will not disappear right away because there is not a hole stack of backorder orders waiting to be filled up with that part. If they put a limit at least on new sought after parts it should be no problem I wonder if this will make it pointless to call in orders, should help with the queue at customer service at least Are you mad, the animals are expensive as they are If they limit the number of part that each can buy it should be no problem That's right, I do not take any chances with animals you never know when or if we ever will see them again, just look at how rare the horse is in sets now a days -
Me too, I am really not a fan of pearl gold

Could be , another smart way to get the theme going without using up all the set ideas in one year, much like the books.. Even with Hogsmeade, they can make several sets in the future: Zonko's Joke Shop Shrieking Shack train station Hog's Head Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop Btw there better be owls in the sets
-
Not necessarily, could still get one from the last 2 films, most of this set seem a little on the side with focus on the 20 year anniversary I still hope for a big DA expansion Yes of course it is not all bad and Griphook is probably so different from the CMF that it can be used in Gringotts (however it probably comes there as well) as two goblins
-
Sweet and that makes sense in that set There was a lot of trio figs in some of the sets and the AC did not have any new figs, other than that the figs sounds good
-
Thanks for the heads up If it is in German I may not understand much, but it should be translated soon enough
-
Usually it is postnord that takes over the shipping when it comes to Norway and they are not to be trusted in my experience
-
Well maybe if the theme have had a second big set, but with the two huge ship parts it was probably to expensive to add even a new orca on top of that since the set is not cheap per part as it is

If they just keep to the normal pirate waves every 5-6 years that could be never (or this year) since that is mostly a "best of pirates" with more or less variants of the same sets every time. However I hope for something targeted to adults this time around like the B-Bay I know beggars can't be choosers and since we got B-Bay we should be happy with that the next 10 years However I think something is different this time and that we will get a new big AFOL set this or next year, maybe that is me being blindly optimistic for once Lego are really giving the 18+ a push now and with the sale numbers that B-Bay has the market in clearly there, in addition to the 90 year set election that got 77 000 votes I believe we are going to see more takes on classic themes aimed at adult in the near future
-
No of course that is right, however I have grown up with the original bluecoats and stopped collecting pirates sets in the beginning of the redcoats era before I came out of the dark ages, so I want that I believe most of the pirate fans wants either blue- or redcoats now, then further down the line of sets we can start discussing Armada sets
-
I meant one set a year like a creator expert for pirates, it still may be wishful thinking Haha, no I think the pirate theme went downhill after -94 much like the rest of the company And it was great, but as you say the game may have changed since then so a single Eldorado fortress super duper set could happen
