Toys R Us Toy Sale Starts at midnight the 30th I think, maybe the 1st. Does anyone know what sale they'll have on Lego and when they are expecting to receive stock of the Toys R Us Truck??

I have one for sale I can send to you from Sydney. Myer are not allowed to have them out for another 2 weeks when their toy sale starts, so you will struggle to find it. The ones that had them out have mostly sold them.

I'd like to know too, I found this photo many months ago and created my own version of this which is very close in looks.

Please don't take offense to this comment as I'm going to give you some criticism on your review. You really have only stated what is in the box and posted some photos, which in my opinion is not really a review. Perhaps to improve your reviews and make them a worthwhile read you could add some personal opinions, facts, for example a part is new or only used in a number of sets previously, things that you feel are good about the set and things that don't meet your expectations. I have read some exceptional reviews by people on this forum and it disappoints me when I read yours, as I feel you take away the opportunity for someone who may have a better ability at writing reviews to do so.

I have a Lego Eiffel Tower I'm selling to people in Sydney only. I am not willing to post this, so it either needs to be picked up or I can deliver it personally for a small fee (subject to suburb). Price for pick up is $500 firm. It is in a Sealed, Un-opened box, great condition (small shop wear due to the size of the box). I bought the item only about a month or so ago and It has been sitting underneath my Lego table ever since and now have no intention of building it. Where exactly was this sale advertised? Surely if it had a printed date of some sort there should be proof of this either via a catalogue or newspaper? If anyone has a copy or proof I'd love to see or have a copy. I just bought an unopened box of the Minifigs, so there should be a few sets in there for me...

Just saw a Toy Story 3 Set at TRU. The one with the big green truck. The Truck looked great, just too big for a normal city scene I think. Didn't see a price nor did I bother to ask. Has anyone seen the Lego Minifigs in TRU? They didn't have any there.

Thats very unrealistic, who's ever seen a truck driver with glasses??? Lol...

I Heard about this on another internet forum for reptiles, exactly the same story just with with reptiles instead of Lego..

Regardless of how they work, other companies with the likes of Kmart don't work in the same way. The stock is sent directly to the stores and they have very limited storage area. The night fill staff put out as much as possible every night. I know this as I work for one of these companies, hence why you often see stock in stores a day or 2 before they are due to be released. I doubt that Lego would send stock out so far in advance if there was this risk of them being put out early, if they did not want it to happen that is.

I managed to get both the other day, still want to go back to get more apple tree houses. They are great IMO.

I was recently in England on holiday and found the Lego stores the best, no where I went had as good a selection and prices were much the same. Really depends what you want.

Thanks for your advice, I had planned to visit atleast one of those stores as we don't have them in Australia. Fingers crossed now...

I'm heading to the UK in a day, thought I might pick one up in one of the Lego stores, hardly worth the effort of bringing it home for the small price difference, but we'll see....
