Sorry if this is a little off topic, but this topic is current and seemed pointless starting a new topic. I'm going to buy this set when it hits the shelves here in Australia, however I was also wondering if the Taj Mahal is worth picking up, more so to use for MOCing? I can get it near half RRP and works out cheap for the amount of pieces included. There appears to be some useful pieces and a lot of not so useful pieces.

Harry Potter Sets were put out in last nights night fill at Big W stores. I'm not too sure if all stores did but the one I work for did. If you are desperate, this is the place to get them as they are under RRP. I'm not a HP fan myself, but the boxes they come in are magnificent, real heavy duty unlike the paper boxes of Toy Story. The sets don't look too bad to be honest, I enjoyed wasting 20 mins looking at them. This is NSW news BTW.

I've just seen the images of these and a theory I have regarding all the series seems to continue. Every Series has 1 figure that looks just like a family member. Series 1 was my girlfriend the nurse, who is actually a nurse. 2nd series is my sister inlaw the pop star, who is actually a fantastic singer and this series is Me the Gorilla! I actually have a gorilla suit that I make good use of. In all honesty, I'm not too thrilled with this series, there are a couple of interesting figures but most seem pretty bland, I still can't wait to see the official pictures before I make up my mind whether I like these or not.

Just looked through these photos, to me most of the sets are terrible, the vehicles have a shape I don't find appealing whatsoever, they have the nose similar to the late 90's early 00's. One thing I noticed that I do like is the white Bicycle, if I'm right, this has only ever been available in one set of town mini-figures back in 86. I will wait till I see official pictures before I make up my mind but I'm not impressed with what I see at the moment. Personally I also don't like the Evil type sets, I think it shows Lego in a poor light, but that's just me. The Space sets are a nice idea, I remember the sets from the late 80's early 90's that I used to dream about, I think these have come close to recreating that! Can't wait to see more images, especially the official ones.

Personally I don't want to read about what minifigure someone has extra and wants to trade. I have to trawl through all this useless information to find out what Sales are on around the Country. Makes it harder to refer back to older sales and information as well.

Does anyone know what the Discount story is with David Jones at the moment? I have paperwork that appears to say 30% off LEGO, but when you ask the stores, some say it's 20% off LEGO and some say its 20% off selected LEGO sets.

jajaja I've sent Lego from Australia over and it still works out cheaper, even had a friend carry back home LEGO in his jacket on board the plane to make the most of the prices over here, jajaja.

Does anyone have any news on when and where the Grand Emporium will be arriving in Australia. Let's hope its not Toy R Unts. On Toys R Unts, if your a Sydney Sider, Moore Park store has plenty of the Exclusive Truck and Public Transport. You might have to look along the top of the shelves though, I found a lot of stock down the back of the store above other types of toys. The Truck scanned in at $59.95 yesterday even though its advertised at $69.95, so get in quick in case they realise their mistake, if it is one. I'm personally not wasting my money on the Public Transport at that price, maybe if it was closer to $100 I'd consider it, I doubt that will happen when it's only available where it is. The truck is a rip too considering you can get the Lego version for nearly $25 less ($35 if they put up the price of the exclusive one) and it's much the same truck. Please, any info on the Grand Emporium would be good, I'm keen to get hold of one. Cheers
