  1. Not too many collections but shelves with glass doors (not perfectly sealed but somewhat). I've been looking into IKEA products to see if there are any book shelves long enough to hold 20+inches LEGO with glass doors but they are either expensive or hard to find. I am thinking of making custom cabinets with maybe plexiglass doors just for LEGOs. I think it will be a cool project. :)
  2. How about 8041 and 8265? I just placed on order for both of them and another set (total of $200). I purchased 8258 and tractor last week too. 8258 is gone for good in my areas. I am glad that I got mine. Anyways, contact them! They've been very helpful and probably the best customer service out there (to me at least).
  3. well there aren't any problems. it's just that when parts are moving, I noticed instability(?) from the crane base. can you check and see if your crane base moves slightly when crane components are moving? thanks! i don't have any spare parts. i just started playing around with lego :p
  4. Thank you. I thought so too. I tried to build it so that there's not much room to play when it operates. I guess it can't be helped. Thanks again!
  5. Hi, I finished building 8258 and I am having some issues. I heard clicking noises from the base of the crane so I took it apart. (just the crane portion so I didn't disassemble any of gears) Now that I put together everything, my crane spins CRAZY when the crane is setup for vertical movements. Does anyone have any idea? :( Also, does this modification requires more parts than what 8258 comes with? (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=403362) Thanks. [edit] I found the problem but can anyone confirm that link above as far as rather I need more parts or not? Thanks. Another question I have is, when I try to lift/lower cranes, the base of the crane jerks/rotates a little bit. Has anyone experienced this?
