Load of technic parts 8kg on buy it now for 25 quids, was put on ebay for a few hours before I snapped up. It was in plastic box full to the top, didn't know what it got below. Arrived last week and while going through the box, found 3 pieces of white and blue cloths, 3 pieces of brown hull and masts among system parts. Trying to find out what set it is. Daniel.

Hi. I have 3 pieces of blue and white sails, found with 3 pieces of brown hull and masts, in a huge lot of technic. I am trying to find out what set is this. The hull is really dusty and I've washed them and they come out great like mint. I'm not sure about what to do with sails, they are a bit dusty and little dirty, I am so worry I may damage them if I'm doing it wrong. Do I wash it in bowl of warm water with soap powder or vanish powder? Do you give a good twirl or scrub them or let it soak? And rinse it in cold water? As for drying, could I put it on radiator? Sorry to ask a old thread, I normally do technic and rather give this ship to other lego lovers. Daniel.

Hi Jurgen Krooshoop I seem to have problem opening your instruction for excellent Ultimate 42009. I have all the parts need to make it and the original 42009. I am unable to download it on my ipad2 via Safari, halfway it suddenly close safari. Has anyone had problem with it? I had download your other smaller moc and it seem fine to download. Is it too big for iPad? Looking forward to rebuilding 42009 with your excellent moc :-) Daniel

So I am missing 2 apron and dress, couldn't find it so I gone on lego customer service website. It is out of stock. Both of them. :-/ What can I do? Daniel.

Hi. Just finished bag 4 and got an extra door, checked other bags and their has own doors and frames so where do this door goes? There are already 2 doors fitted. Also I am missing an apron for Marge fig, I can't find it, do it come in bags 4 or in a white cardboard box? What do I do? Daniel.

Time Traveller, so I can buy classic space sets :-)

I keep 8110 and 8043 built and the rest goes to spare parts drawers as I've stopped buying new sets. If there is a new set I like, I simply build it with parts from other sets I got and order parts if I don't have it.

I like to complete incomplete sets bought from car boot, ebay and buying parts to complete it.

I still have the Meccano set 10 in original 4 drawer unit, made in binn road factory in Liverpool, they were better made than what it is now.

Brickshelf are not good at replying to my email I sent twice regarding waiting for confirmation email from brickshelf as I want to sign up and show my moc. Still waiting for it :-( Is there a problem with brickshelf? Daniel.

Thanks. I carefully managed to prise apart 8043 to see If it possibles with blunt knife by prising apart the glue joint. When I got the new set, I carefully opened it without tearing ( you need to tear it in order to open it ). Then I reglue it back together and I can't see the different. I don't really want to throw it away cos I like the design on box....

Hi. I have too many large boxes eg 8110, 8043, etc and taking up space so is it possible to flat it out and store it under the bed? This is what I'm thinking, take boxes apart the way TLG made the boxes, prising apart glue joint into two pieces ( top and bottom ) and flatted it out the way it came out of printing and cutting machine. Then when if you want to sell, put it together using hot glue gun. What do you think? Daniel.

On step 57 on book 4, it's best to leave out the L motor till step 63 otherwise on step 63 the 16 tooth gear will not get into the correct position cos of motor casing in the way without bending the axle. I'm having a great time building it. :-)
