Should I buy all dino 2012 sets? I quite like the sets. Are most parts yellow or green? Daniel.

I could put all basic parts in boxes labelled beams, gears, pins and axles etc. I have a lot of clear plastic boxes from Really Useful Box, they's great for stacking and can see what inside. Then i can put special parts in small drawers case. What I will do is store it as sets till I work out how much and what sets I got left. Wish I had a room just for Lego with display stand like Blackbird Daniel.

Hi. Excellent topic. I have so many sets without their own box, do I store them mixed or in a set? I've been busy with sorting out which parts goes to which sets and putting in tesco resealable freezer bags. I'm been wondering If I should store them in sets bag or mixed? What would you do? Also should I dismantle 8421, 8110 and 8258? That take a lot of bags.... Daniel.

I'm a plumber by trade. Got called to a problem with toilet, not flushing well, had a look in flush pipe and found a 2 x 2 blue brick stuck inside pan flush inlet. I reckon the owner's kids must had chuck it into cistern. Cleaned it up and gave it back to them.... Daniel. -
Help with identifying parts/sets!

The third photo, I can't see where this piece come from. The brick look like 2 x 12 stub. I've checked for a while on Bricklink and Brick Factory, there nothing to match. After google, I think 710 4 x 4 is a sort of Pinzgauer, a sort of off road truck. Is it a sticker stuck on brick? Is the brick Lego or megablok , you can see on stub on top of brick. Other may know. Hi DLuders Many thanks for the useful link to website. I had a look, found the set i'm looking for. I can see that there are 2 different design on 8455 one a black and one a yellow. Why is that? It because I had been looking on Ebay and I've been looking for 8455 . 5 time I've lost. I found 8455 with box and instruction, now at last I've won it. Daniel

That a useful info. I will give it a go and will test it again, I love taking it again and rebuild. My excavator will now not lift the main boom anymore, think the batteries has ran out. The bucket, second boom, turntable, right track and gear switch still work, left track hardly move at all, only move if right track moved as well. Daniel.

Hi S.I, welcome to the forum. I'm not sure why it happen, I've taken it apart and rebuild again, checking that all gears are loose and free running, but still the same. Lego will know more and will explain soon. As for the tracks, on the remote, there is a little switch next to jog stick, switch it to either forward or reverse to sync up tracks. Dan.

sometime I do see the left track a little slower than the right track, with a fresh batteries. I think it something to do with gearing in middle of turntable. I think the M motors may not be powerful enough for tracks and main boom. It would be like driving a small car pulling a 44 tonnes trailer. I think it should have XL motors, the bulldozer has two, it is powerful, so why don't 8043 have one...... I think I shall keep it for now and wait till Lego's instruction. Dan.
