Hello folks, i have just somewhat finished my newest Frigate in LDD. She carries twenty guns, 16 24 pounder guns on a gundeck, and four 12 punder medium on the poopdeck. The rudder is working, and its possible even to get in the Captains Cabin. Her crew is total of 13. Im still working on the masts, but can seem to get it right, if you have any good ideas how to make then please tell. Also if you have anything wich youd like to add or change, please tell. I have named Her USS Reputation. The ship herself: Angle shot: Ships Bow, whit the capstan: Stern. (Tell me should i change the colden parts into black ones): Poopdeck: Removable roof to get acces to the Captains Cabin: On the left side of the cabin theres Captaind Desk and a Globe: And on the right is the Captains bed, and you can also see long couch whit lanters on the wall: Its easy to get aboard of the ship and thers ladders on the both sides of the ship to get abourd easily. The crew: From left to right: Captain, Vice admiral, three Midship mens, two Marines one wit the trumpet, Helm men, Sailor whit a sword and Cat of nine tales, Ships cook and doctor whit a knife and frypann, Sailor whit sword and pistol, Cabin boy whit a pistol and grappling hook. Trust me, these kind of projects takes several and several years, i asked him once if there would be any progress, and if i remember right, he havent worked on it for a long lon long time, and probably wont in the future. So just wait, he updates this thread if he havent already given up and destroyed this. I wonder where is e anyways, havent seem him for a long time around here,(In Eurobricks) or then im just blind. You didnt see the flag at the stern? A nice looking ship for Bluecoats indeed, i cant imagine any French ship names, because i think Bluecoats are French. But i would say you should search from Wikipedia if you want to give her a real ships name. For example: Le Gracieuse, would that sound good? Captain Becker

You could make the upper spanker sail beam a bit more angled as Croissant said, if thats still possible. Otherly than that, its looking already quite a nice ship. Captain Becker

Actually i think when im making my first ship, its gonna be something like that. Remember, nobodys cant be perfect at the first try. From what i can see, its pretty good. The first picture is taken from a great angle and makes the ship look just lovely, however, the last picture shows where you could try to improve things, like Stern and bow mainly. Maby a little bit less curve or one more hull piece would make the ship look even greater, but as you aid, you only used the pieces wich you already got. Its a nice ship, does her have a name yet? Well, Lego is made of plastic, and plastic needs oil. Oils price has grown a bit wich could affect somehow on the prize, but i really dont think at they are that high, maby if they would be old clssic sets, then yes, but specially the last one cant be true. (And i though Lego was expensive in my country ) Captain Becker

I have been very lazy using LDD for a long time, but i finally got my self to do something whit it again. So here are two sets from POTC Theme. Set Name: Captains Cabin Theme: Pirates of the Caribbean (Licensed) Year: 2011 Set Number: 4191 LXF Errors: Missing some pieces and printings, some bricks are not existing and have been replaced or left out of the model. Set name: Fountain of Yoth Theme: Pirates of the caribbean (Licensed) Year: 2011 Set Number: 4192 LXF Errors: Printings missiing, some pieces are missing in LDD and have been replaced or left out of the model. PS: I will work on these sets more tomorrow if i have some spare time, i try to find some pieces for these models wich do exist in Extended mode. I used universe mode making these. Captain Becker

I agree at some of the minifigs are a bit our of its place, but i actually like at they included Davy Jones in this set. If you think the ship is a bit too short, you can always buy two of them. (At least i am if they show up in my local stores) You can add some sort of deck in there if you like, i did that on my QAR wich has now totally 10 guns, wich two are turnable. And they should have replaced Hammerhead shark guy, and Bootstrap Bill whit Pintel and Ragetti IMO. Captain Becker

Black? Where do you see black figure? I can only see one dark skinned figure... Anyway, i like your army so far, but i think the redcoats torso dosent quite fit in there, it just seems to be out of his place IMHO. I like how you managed to pull many pirates from all around the world, because there might have been many pirates from different countries in a one ship, so its a nice touch of realism. I myself dont find earlier instruction books that hard, but it is clear at instruction books are now more clearer and makes the build easier, it shows the pieces wich you need, and the amount of them ETc. In early days, there wasnt such things. So yeah, quality of instruction booklets is increased i would say. Captain Becker

I agree whit Big Cam at this is more like of a minifigure collection pack instead of Battle pack. I dont even need so much zombies and pirates, the only goodie for me on this "Set" Or whatever you want to call it, is that Redcoat officer, you gotta love him. Captain Becker

I dont play Minecraft (Yet). But i am dreaming at one day i am able to buy it. Theres only one thing wich makes it impossible: The memory of my PC is full. I have large and huge plans what to build and ho to build, if i would play it. So im more builder type than explorer. Captain Becker EDIT: One tiny spelling error.

It goes along licely. One thing wich i would like to mention is the Daylight window or whatever the right name was again. Instead of using those large 2x2 windows, would use these, or these. Other than that, it looks promising, keep us updated. Captain Becker

I would say you should buy second one, and make the ship a bit longer, or then you can just add the second gundeck on her. Whitout raising the cabin ofcourse. I cant say how to modifed it to add more guns, plus not changeing the overall look too much, So i see those would be the onoly options. Im also thinking to modifed my QAR by adding atleast two guns on the front of the ship wich would spin 360 degrees, i have already added full amount of cannons on her, and made four more gunports.
