Since, if Bionicle come to the stores they are likely going to bring the Toa, protectors and Skeletons all at once, I think I am only going to buy Skeleton sets.

They are trying something different and it sems the skeletons will all have functions. It's silly to claim of gaps when the sets are skeletons.

I guess a comparison to Evo XL Machine would make more sense.

By the looks of it Vader is basically a Titan so 29.99 is not so out of the world.

This thing, you should seriously consider it for Lego Ideas. I really want to see what happens when a new mold Idea gets 10K votes.

This is the age of kids growing up with Plants vs. Zombies and Monster High. They'll be fine.

Very disappointed to hear there will be no C3PO. Would have gladly traded Luke or Obi Wan for C3PO. This is not your favorite line. This is a new line of constraction Star Wars figures. System Lego Star Wars is still getting many new sets. You don't have to buy all Lego sets that have a Star Wars logo. Now if CCBS Luke was forcibly included in the next 500-th version of the Milenium Falcon that would be a different topic. (Star Wars sets come with Peach figures, not exactly the purists' safest haven) Exo Force sets had a bunch of Bionicle in them anyway. The NinjaGo mechs show that CCBS blend much better with system pieces than the Bionicle in Exo-Force. I am rather sure if there was an Exo-Force remake, it would go similar to the NinjaGo mechs, mixing system, technic and CCBS. Making them 100% CCBS would indeed be odd, but also quite unlikely. Actually, I doubt an exo-force rehash would ever happen, it is not really such a popular theme, even though it was cool, a local store still has Exo Force warming their shelves.

As a true Lego Star Wars fan I'd rather they made a ship for the 1500-th time instead of this.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
vexorian replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
The only bad thing about the Ant Man set is that the giant "studs" are going to make it quite a contested set to get with all the AFOLs competing for it. -
By the looks of it , Vader is going to be quite tall and all the black detail pieces and cape are going to make me want to buy it. Plus he's Star Wars, so unlike the Bionicle sets there is a good chance they'll ship these to this country (last year no HF or Chima ultra build set arrived. None, not at all). Also maybe he actually looks great in person. It's difficult to know what to expect with all the black that tends to look different in real life than in CGI / pictures. Some details might be stickers also. My main concern is that with the Star Wars license , plus apparently great amount of pieces and quite some height, Vader and perhaps all the sets are going to be very expensive. Let's see what happens with the retail prices.

Not so excited about the parts in http://i.imgur.com/zH7EUSo.jpg because If I get that set, there's no way I am disassembling it :/

The Lego ideas Darth Vader was much better. This one tries too much to be realistic. And, since iti s Lego, it will never be realistic the result is that it just highlights how unrealistic it is. And Luke will give children nightmares.

They are all costumes. Some of the costumes are just very good. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
vexorian replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Let this be a seasonal CMF thing! - The completely random CMF concept is tired. - Not every kid had access to all seasonal themes and this is a great way to give them minifigs. - I don't have access to much advent stuff, so I'd love a Christmas one :/ -
And Fire Lord.

Ugh They are adding organic Jedi. Why Lego , why. Have they learned nothing from the Joker? The Lego Ideas thing was such a good template to follow.

I love this wave. It actually seems to be pandering specifically to me. With all those evil looking demonic skeleton beings and the trans green bones :/

Disney theory has merit, they probably liked how things worked with Marvel ultrabuilds.

Hey guys, I actually already have Vader. http://www.brickshel...mf6cyaekkqo.jpg Yes, the boot leg brand that makes the Chima and Super Hero constraction bootlegs also has Star Wars sets. It was always fishy to me because the sets seemed well-done. Almost as if they were ideas that Lego had, but eventually didn't do for whatever reason and then were leaked by someone to the bootleg brand to produce. That or the bootleg brand has talented designers. The bootlegs I could see so far are: Darth Vader, C3PO, Storm trooper and Boba Fet. Edit: OOOOH, so the boot leg brand actually stole the designs from the Lego Ideas project. They are really terrible.

There's your mistake =P But it should be relatively inexpensive to find "Hero Factory 2.0" and even up to "Break out" parts in the second hand market.
-
They are not claws. They look like shoulders, so much that they are even used as shoulders. And they are silver. Is that why they put so much effort in making Tahu accurate? But really, this set would look so much better with claws, black claws, Hero Factory Jungle style claws.
-
Why wouldn't they give him claws. Why big silver brick things. And why the attempt to revive Bionicle aesthetic while mixing it with HF bricks. Why.
-
Is this the end of Hero Factory? Or maybe Hero Factory will go further towards the minifig sets leaving Bionicle the 100% constraction niche.

I like many shows that make no sense. The show is unfunny and derivative on top of not making sense.
-
The sets are so cool, but the show is so awful. Licensed themes are the worst.
