  1. Boss isn't going to like that, but I think I can make him see sense. Just so long as you and your crew don't get out of hand. Matthias keeps the Anvil, period.
  2. Yeah, sure. Just uh, don't stray too far, okay? I step forward, into the wasteland. With a purposeful voice, I speak into the desert winds. Yame, qeteak xouqrekd. Ve gate baklkx cirburrec ouq absiomr amc aqe nqenaqec so voqj sofesgeq visg xou. Mo difgsimf.
  3. Zane knows he can trust me. I don't actually expect him to, but he can. And he knows exactly how resourceful heroes are. He was privy to us killing a goddess. Working together is in all of our best interests.
  4. I picked up 3 and New Vegas for the first time. Does that count?
  5. He won't. Zane may be insane, but as I said he won't do anything that doesn't benefit himself. He has no reason to fight us, so he won't. The part of him that's still Zane would rather co-operate than go head-to-head with three heroes.
  6. Great plan, boss. Next time I see a win-win scenario I'll be sure to try the whole 'fight and run' approach. So what happens in the likely scenario where we don't see a landmark any time soon?
  7. I look on as Guts readies himself to fight. Zane was certainly insane but he wasn't an enemy. There was no point in killing him. I think again of David, of calling for his death and finding him later as a good man. David's actions were leagues worse than Zane's... this battle was pointless. Merciless. I stay back and watch.
  8. Of course. This is a power thing. More souls, more power. And now you want to be immortal. Look, we both half half of the map. We can either fight over it, or we can tough this out and work together. I vote for the latter.
  9. Zane!? What are you doing here? Seeing Matthias' confusion, I stop to explain. During the hunt for Wren, she gathered around her a group of obsessed maniacs, the Court of Demons. I suppose I'm technically a member - that's a story unto itself. The minions are insane, but the leaders hold frightening power. I'll admit I'm sketchy on the details, it was hectic Grogmas, but if I remember correctly, they're lead by one of the Old Gods. As for Zane, he was part of a group that approached this Old God - the Master of Regret. We killed all of them, but Zane approached us. He's the strongest of them, and the smartest. He also doesn't do anything unless it benefits him. Which brings us back to the original question, what are you doing here, Zane?
  10. No, I'm seeing the Halloween one too.
  11. This shouldn't take too long. Undead Hunters C (Melvokuul, Horses?)
  12. I fire at the Undead Treasure Hunters A (B, Melvokull). I should be encouraged, Guts should be lucky encouraged and hastened.
  13. I'm not sure I follow? I take a sip of a Mead. Your men attacked us. We had no intention of fighting any battle.
  14. You must be an adviser of the Soul Sucker. Or the Soul Sucker himself. There's no need for conflict, we're just passing through.
  15. In that case, we should continue on our previous course. Let's find the other half of this map.
  16. I thought we were going towards the area on the map? Though I suppose this would be more prudent.
  17. Shoot, you guys have one too? I thought this would be some rare item nobody else had, like an axe or a telescope. I mean when's the last time you ever saw one of those used?
  18. I don't see you coming up with ideas. If you have any, please, fire away. Three directions... that Soul Sucker was supposed to have two advisers right? Is Marga... no, I'm probably reading too much into this.
  19. I suppose. Take me to the source of the magic water.
  20. I'm not following the semantics. Would the 'source' not be the fountain?
