    Indeed, and I'm very curious to see what he knows about the Fountain. If he got there, he might have seen the same vision Matthias did.

    If they're older than the Old Gods they must know something about the Darkness. They're either using it or allied with it... Or at least know more about it than we do. There's... there's too many unknowns here. Forgive me, Guffington - you seem a decent fellow but I simply don't trust you. I don't trust Passion, and I don't trust the Old Gods. However, I do trust my friends, and they seem to believe you can pull this off. Don't think I like this - I don't, but I'd rather die by my friends than sit back and watch. Do what you feel you must.

    ...that may be, I suppose. That's just not what I saw. He barely acknowledged me when I came to fight Wren, and I'm not sure he spoke a direct word to me after that. I - I just saw a very different man than you, brother. I think for a long moment. Arthur, I know what you've been through - especially on that day. So I know you wouldn't throw your trust wantonly to a man with such power without truly believing he deserved it. Perhaps you're right. I guess we'll have to see. Still, I would like to hear more of these witches before casting a final vote.

    You're overstating his generosity, brother. He was a good man, yes, but he kept his secrets tight and his motives to himself. Even so, we can't be sure that he will come back as you remember him.

    What witches? You folks keep mentioning them. but I haven't heard anyone explaining who are what they are. Is Thothwick back? Did Atramor's Special Mirror go wrong again? I'm not voting until I see some solid explanation.

    Arthur, Passion didn't die because of some wrong you committed, or because of some twist of reality. Passion died because that's what people do. Wren killed him trying to access the power these people have. The only reason she was able to do that was because Regret gave her the power to. Bringing him back won't undo anything, it's just going to perpetuate the same unnecessary cycle - everything that's been done to them has been done themselves. You don't owe these people anything, brother. Now maybe those vision were hinting towards something and maybe the assassination attempts are from a serious threat, but until I see confirmation this threat is as ancient and powerful as these people, I vote against this.

    There's something endlessly amusing about the majority of 139 having this massive, world-changing discussion while Purpearl continues her shopping errands.

    ...What? You're telling me this Darkness may not be a threat at all? Then, if I may, what exactly are we doing here? Bringing back an immortal should be a last-case scenario. We're just doing this on a whim!? Hope, I realize you've lost your brother, and I realize you'd do anything to bring him back. The simple fact is, you're not the only one here who's lost things dear to them. I once would have fought and died to be welcomed back home, to see those who were taken from me. Eventually I realized that there's more to life than chasing ghosts. I learned to fight for the here and now. Yes, you're in position to bring back Passion - but just because something is possible doesn't make it right.

    Everything I know about the Darkness and its attack on Regret came from Matthias' vision. Perhaps he can explain it in clearer words than I.

    I understand fully, and while I have trepidation, I think the matter is clear. Hope, I knew your brothers, and I fought Wren. Your power is something eldritch, and I am will admit that horrifies me. I will allow this ritual, only because there's something out there that scares me more. I step forward. I'm not sure what all you know of this, so I will make this clear. Matthias had a vision on our quest, and what he saw was unnerving. Regret, Hope's brother, is dead. He, along with two of his kind, were overpowered and killed by something we can only describe as a 'Darkness'. This Darkness has drank from the Fountain of Youth. I don't know what bringing back Passion will unleash, but this Darkness is something far worse. Daneeka seems to believe with Passion back, we may have a chance of defeating it. That's enough for me.

    Matthias said he saw Regret and two others. A 'Darkness' killed them and drank from the Fountain. That's why we're here. To stop That from getting the other relics. I want nothing to do with the Old Gods - while you may remember a kindly old man, I just remember Regret and his deception, and a woman on a warpath. But this? This needs to be stopped.

    Matthias, not me. Zane had one as well. They were... I lean in close. I wanted to save this for later, but you need to know. Something's out there. It's been killing the Old Gods.

    Anyways, Arthur - the journey. After fighting a few pirates we took a side-stop in Haddon, when I ran again into McColt. He came with us to Duplovia. To... home. It was a bit overwhelming. We were barely even there, but seeing the Great Walls again, my brother again... it was a lot to take in. I saw one of Triad's race, as well. She seemed comforted to hear that she had been avenged. We went into one of the mountains, killed a giant guardian, and Matthias swiped the Anvil. Had a vision as well, but there'll be time for that later. Once we headed North, we ran into the Red Lizards and Valentino. It was tense for a moment, but they housed us at Carn, where Prince David was as well. It was all very surreal, but he seemed to be trying to reconcile things. Then we found the wreck of Iceborn's crew, and went to Baltarok. It was there we ran into Zane and his crew, he's gone entirely insane. He's absorbed the souls of Zander and the others, and it's too much for him. His mind is split. After a lot of arguing, and fighting sand wyrms, we eventually moved to the Fountain. More visions. Finally we came this way.

    I'm aware, and I'd usually shoot down any attempt at meddling with the Old Gods, but something bigger is at play, here. Though I suppose Guffington never mentioned that. ...Zeus, huh? You want to lead me there? I'll tell you about my own adventures on the way. Or, maybe after, I'm still not quite sure how this place works.

    It's good to see you again, brother. I take it you're all safe? As for your mission, I think there's more afoot than you realize. During the trip we first ran into Zane, and his new Court of Demons. A... a lot happened, and I'm sure it would be best to relay that to the whole party at once. Until then, what is there to see here? How was your own journey?

    Dyric attempts to be polite, to take in Etheria with the same awe he held on the rest of the journey, but it doesn't stick. Even in a timeless environment, time seemed to be running out fast. Melqiaudes, take me there as well.
