Wow Gen, you're quite good! I love that tree. Also the vegetation, the clams etc. are a great addition to the general MOC. I have to say this reminds me alot of the movie "Castaway" with Tom Hanks. Any chance you've seen it (and perhaps are inspired by) it?

Good work Captain! You've managed to give these MOCs a real TLC official set feel (old pirate theme, that is). Especially the second one would fit perfectly in the classic pirate theme.

On the other hand, you wouldn't need to clean the head rails anymore when you've done a dump, like this!

Sure, but I don't think a LEGO tricorne would turn blue when you rub it with mercury. My point is, is this an official LEGO tricorne or one of those clone parts you mentioned, Joey?

That's looking great Daniel, TLC could learn something from you! Few suggestions though: 1. The masts could use a litte work, the main mast should be higher than the fore mast and perhaps it would look nice when moved a bit backwards. I'd suggest you add an extra small sail on the top mast. 2. The Gun ports, they should be offset. It looks nicer, and it is more realistic. On real ships guns were positioned offset for a better dividing of the weight of the guns. Like on this pretty boat: That aside, I think you made a mighty fine ship!

Hmm, I'm not so sure about that. Don't you think the leaked pictures looked like prelims? Most of the torso's are stickers, just like the Shako printings (alhough I wouldn't mind if those were stickers actually ) We wouldn't want sticker torso's would we now? So I have a feeling it wil take TLC some more time to "perfect" the sets. Remember the return of Castle? Didn't we know that like around 6 months before? I think it will be the same with pirates. Yes, true, but I don't think they will pop up in 2008 yet. They will probably be on sale in some stores before the official release date, but imagine they would be released in May, that could mean they might pop up in February or March.

Looking nice Dano, but might I suggest you to try and take some better pics? It would be way easier to comment on it if I could see it better. From what I can see though, this MOC involves an explodig pirate!

Hurray for pirates!! I can't wait for the pictures of the production sets! These prelims are very nice, but I can't say they really do it for me... We'll see. On a side note, did anyone else notice the new pirate theme is going to be released exactly 20 years after the first ever pirate set was released?

Great work Mr Pickle!! Although I have to agree with SWMAN though, : Perhaps you could make the thread a bit longer or the hose a bit shorter? Especially in the blurry pic it looks a bit like a lighted dynamite stick, but instead of red/orange sparks black sparks.

Nice looking ship Wes. Don't see many schooners here, so it's a very nice change! I absolutely love the look of those sails! How did you make them? You could always go for an "imaginary" stern (e.g., a stern in wich a minifig couldn't actually stand, but one can't tell from the outside). Now I'm talking about the stern anyway, are those window panes on the right side of the cabin pink, or is that just the light?

Say Greenie, I was just looking at your beauty againa (can't seem to get enough of it. ), and noticed there is no nametag, nor room for it on the stern. Don't you think a ship like this needs one?
