Nice find Mr Christian! Mmmmh, no new Castle, that can't be good. :-/ I hope there will be more of them. But there's Indy and that's good. Wonder what Impulse is though.. Mr Tiber

Too bad about the bad picture quality, because this is a very nice scenery! Poor crocodile though... but the Islander seems to be happy! :-D Kill-a-croc on! Mr Tiber

Brickshelf FIND: Really Impressive Dragon
El Bucanero replied to Starwars4J's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This has to be one of the best dragons I've ever seen by far. And I've seen alot. I'm especially impressed by the wings. X-O Also incredibly amazing! Wow! This guy really knows his stuff! Mr Tiber -
That's not bad! Perhaps you could change the roof a little bit, with slopes or something like that... Or perhaps another floor, or a tower. mmmhhh, you don't seem to be happy with your MOC eh?? :-P Puke on Mr Tiber

Those are brilliant Mr Mosana! But where should I put him? Under Britain? I'm impressed you made the Ruritanians from scratch, good job! Mr Tiber

LEGOREDO STATION wild west set #6785
El Bucanero replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I can hardly believe I haven't commented on this superb MOC yet. My apologies. The train is truly magnificent. Ilike the Caboose and Engine most, but the other cars are also very good. But the station, that's really brilliant!! If I didn't know better I'd seriously think this has been an official LEGO set. I don't know how you do it but this MOC really has the official LEGO set feeling, I like that alot, I never achieve that effect in my MOCs. Everything is very LEGO-set-like, especially the windows, and the open backside to allow playability. And your minifig decals are also great. Yet again, they look like they were designed by TLC. There's absolutly nothing negative I can say about this MOC... Your MOCs make me consider getting into Wild West again... And that doesn't happen easily. Bravo Mr Brick Miner! Mr Tiber -
Looks alot like the 6379, but yet so different! You've chosen a nice colour scheme, very striking, wich makes it looks so very different but still similar to the official stable. I really like the use of the Castle Skellies, and I'm looking forward to your next creation. Mr Tiber
-
Small but striking Mr Brickster! And also very good use of those skellies. I almost didn't notice the use of rown and brown together, but it looks good on this spooky MOC. The "rolled curtains" (I suppose), I've never seen them as curtains before, nice detail. Good move not to use skellie horses for the coach. The only thing I don't like a little little bit is the broadness of the coach, it wouldn't seem very comfortable to sit in, but making it wider would change the general look of the coach, wich wouldn't be very good I think... But who am I to complain... You're a talented WW builder Mr Brickster! Mr Tiber

Errr, and why exactly did they remove the Pyrramids?? And why did they change the number to 8? Doesn't seem to make any sense to me at all... Especially because there are people who think the pyramids were made by Aliens, wich would make me think it would stay in the list... Mr Tiber
-
Welcome aboard laddie! I hope you enjoy your stay! Mr Tiber

The idea is good, but I think a pirate with a sniper is kinda... odd, especially in the golden age of piracy! And a question: Don't you need permission of Hans Zimmer, or whoever has the copyright to use the POTC music for a game? The Graphics are good BTW! Mr Tiber

Ahoy there, Mr Zeeky! Welcome in our friendly port! Your ship is very nice especially because it's your first one, but I wonder how you made it? Did you use LEGO hull pieces or normal bricks? It seems you've used a LEGO hull pieces at the stern but the rest isn't very clear to me. It almost seems impossible, because your ship is quite broad wich is good! If you ever want to rebuild this ship, or build another ship of the line, I believe the HMS Endeavour was a two-decked (according to the At world's End game) ship of the line, so you could use the HMS Agamemnon for reference... Yes, a seaworthy (battle)ship! Mr Tiber

I'm currently working on several things, Two ships, (HMS Unclaimable, 24 gun corvette and El Flor Blanca, Spanish Merchantman(no pictures yet)) A big Inn ( pictures can be found in this Brickshelf Folder). My next projects will be: The Acheron (new version heavy frigate) and a Blacksmith's Workshop. Mr Tiber

As a small set: 4/5. At first thought, I'd have given it a 3/5, but considering the large amount of weapons, I gave it a 4. Against all other Pirate sets: 2/5. Sure, a nice little set, but I'd always prefer a BSB to this! ;-) But against all the other Pirate sets, better than the Cross Bone Clipper. I don't own this set btw... Mr Tiber

Don't say it's awful! It's great! Very well executed.. And that shield is indeed a very nice touch. I never thought the monkey-shield would come handy but you've proved me wrong! You seem to like fleshies don't you? A nice bignette. Mr Tiber

:-P Man, I'm even too stupid not to see it's my own currency... But indead 770 EUR is even more expensive! I'd say, if you really want it but if you do need the money for other important things (like bills etc), or if you have no money left after buying it, then don't!! If you are swimming in the money, and you would have more than enough left after buying this, I'd say buy it! Mr Tiber

I only need Mr Bonaparte's permission to whack him and I'm in! Oooooooh Boneeeyyyy??? Mr Tiber

Thank's for adding my torsos! Now I can see how the look on minifigs! But there are some problems... First: Not all of them are mine, these: The Spanish one (can't upload, because it's .bmp) And this one: ( by Mosana and some are not included: French Fusilier Napoleon Bonaparte And now I'm thinking about Monsieur Bonaparte, have you already tried to add navy blue to the torsos? Second: If I put a decal on a fig, the gray around the decal is still there.. I see you also included shoulder pads! Looks quite good! *y* Apart from those little problems the only thing I can say about this generator is that it looks fine! It only doesn't work properly on IE, but I have firefox... Mr Tiber

Egad Mr Phes, that was a big picture! I resized the picture and added it to the first post... Mr Errorist, 770 dollar is a pretty penny isn't it? I really think those prices on LEGO factory are ridiculous, I once made a simple train engine wich would cost 69 dollars!! I really think it wasn't worth that money... Mr Tiber

skeleton design discussion (new and old)...
El Bucanero replied to Brick Miner's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Here are my two cents: Both have advantages! If you need "dead" skeletons, lying all over the place, you best be using the old arms because the have don't need to be posed in any way. If you want "living" or posing skeletons your best of with the new design I think... But if it comes to the looks, I prefer the classic skeleton. The new arms are to friggin' long and straight. If they would use a droid arm (although with the hands posed differently) it would already look a bit better... Mr Tiber -
Only two Dutchmen in here? You got to be kidding!
-
I always thought it was immpossible to make decent ships with LDD. But you have proved me wrong! This ship is more then decent! Incredible! And that cross section is just lovely. How much do they cost? Or even better, can you post the link to buying this? My only remark is that the masts of le Bonheur should be a bit taller. Do you plan buying these? Welcome to our friendly forum, BTW ;-) Mr Tiber
-
I'm sorry but isn't it the other way around?* Anyway, my favorite would be the viking dragon, because of its moveability, and its vicious look. Mr Tiber *EDIT: Mr Bonaparte beat me to it!
