I just come back from a retailers show and Mega Brands was showing of their new exo- force clone (box looks exactly like the exoforce ones) but the robots are more like bionicles. It was really sad , the problem with MEga Blok is that they just copy everthing. badly.

Ver nice brickster, but you should put the club car in the middle of your train :). The Idea is to show your trains exactly as they drive around. Well they release the UTB set didn't they, that is a start. (although I still have to buy it :) )

I seriously hope they will offer something new soon. Both the Green passenger wagon and the TTX were on sale this summer in the US (I bought 2 green wagons thru a friend , the TTX was already sold out after a day ). Ihope they will release something that will actually be avail in shops.

I just wash them off in the bad tub. Especially baseplates. And for my trains I use an old theethbrush

Nice! as kids we did this all the time, derailing trains and crashing them into eachother that is the best part about lego, no tears because it is broken, Just joy because now we can build (12v derails super quickly if you put them on the fastest speed, that is why they included those heavy weight bricks.)

Jup, I got four remote swithes, one stop light and one railroad crossing (this is amazing). I really shed a tear back in 1991 when they changed to 9v,luckly my mother bought up a lot of stock so I sill have a decent colletion of 12v track

Rolling stock is always the problem . Luckly now on the US shop@home those MOT passenger cars are on sale for 16 USD that is cheaper the a train baseplate/wheels set in europe, I've ordered two and a set of blue windows. I have some of those blue/yellow train doors lying around.

Not at all thanks for the complement. I always steal a lot of ideas myself :-$ A small note for the Belgians here: The new switch is available and the train station should arrive next week. (at least at intertoys) the switch is 24.99 and the station 39.99

I'm kinda glad you talk so negativly abuot this set, this was one of the reasons I wanted to switch all my 4,5v track into RC track but know that yo tell me that you can't run it in two seperate lines that kinda blows. So 'll be sticking with 4.5v.

Heh, I finally got my 10017 hopper waggon, It is indeed a lovely thing :) But now I want another one. It is the first time that I feel that technic is both functional and good looking. Not a real technic fan overhere :) Time to show of a part of my new moc: Not quite finished yet, montain still needs a lot of work. The bridge design comes from a lego idea book from the 1960's. I changed it just a little bit. You can see the orignal picture here. I could have easely made this bridge with smooth parts but I kind of like that bricky look. :)

I've seen g-scale lego trains before, mostly with technic figures inside, it was whilst I was looking for pictures of playmobil trains, I'll try and find those pictures, but promise nothing.

I think i went out of LEGO when I was 12 -13 the last catalog I have is from 1997 and then I was 14, but I don't have any sets from that period. I think my last big purchases (train stuff) was in 1995. And it was this one that I found in Aix-en-provence on holliday:

Those impulse sets sound nifty, they look like an exact copy of Playmobils Special range, with the only difference that whilst playmobil always has orignial figurines (jazz player, plummer with toilet, golf player) lego gets A good magician, knight construction worker fire guy,... jeeps how many fire guys can one own?

Hey Dr S. Welcome to EB. Super llovely video, I absolutly adore the music :). The only thing I really dislike is all that dust, you must do some cleaning once in a while. :-P
