    You are building a big truck does it drive on the floor allright? It looks two to long and two wide to be at a 'workable scale'.

    What if you geared it down twice with two 24t and two 8 t gears? Here is a small drilling rig for you to have a look at.

    Ah i think that is going to hit the wheels,if you look at my cad file you can see that i have allowed it to pivot out and then slide open/close athough it is a stud wider.

    Me again,just had a good play with it,the tracks work well it takes a couple of minutes but it works great,athough you still need to support the gear wheel.

    Would it be an idea to mark on the topic that Calaber posted above (The requsted parts topic)with a mark beside it to indicate weather it has been added or not with images of the parts to tell new/users in advance?

    The easiest way of makeing a sliding door would be to have a axle go though a couple of panels.or you could make one like how you make booms in cranes.
