I think you should have written "check your local store which isn't participating" in the catalogue sale !!!! Which is 95% of the stores according to their website............

The old X-Wing is still available and for sale and at my local Toys'R'Us so I wouldn't expect a new one yet........

You sure can order non-star wars items, I did today with the Castle range......... Did think about the flagship myself but I'll wait for mid year sales incase it comes on sale as a Store Exclusive

Usually at Toys'R'Us that certainly doesn't mean 45% off, as the promotion states "Full Priced Items", but that certainly doesn't mean I won't be trying my luck tomorrow !!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't try....... you don't get, and if they won't accept the deal then I'll leave the Lego sets there and walk away.......

Hey All, Myer has a 2 day special this week (Wed 14th & Thurs 15th) which gives every Myer One card holder an extra 10% off store wide ontop of any discounted or catalogue price already, and if your a Gold Myer One card holder (whooooooo) then you get 15% off !!!!!!!! So, the new Lego city Airport was $149, on sale at $109 and with 15% off is = $92.65 and Atlantis Neptune Carrier was $89.95, on sale at $69.95 but with 15% off = $ 59.45. GREAT PRICES !!!!!!! With those prices, they're better then K-Mart even if they have a 25% off !!!!!!!

What about the rest of the Atlantis sets? Are they also on special? Has anyone seen the prices? Cheers,

Everyone, for those that have read my MYER post about Myer having Buy x2 get x1 FREE go to your local store now and Buy Buy Buy.......... I've just almost bought out all of the Star Wars range at my local because if you don't ask any question, you will get Myers 20% off each Lego set plus the Buy 2 get x1 FREE special on top !!!!!!! That's a huge double whammy saving of 40% to 50% of each kit. For example, the 2010 Star Wars battle packs with the double discount come to $12.24 each !!!!! BARGAIN The new ARC-170 which is $109.95 works out to a little over $58 dollars when buying x3 !!!!!!!! Echo base which is normal $39.95 works out to be $21.30 when buying x3!!!!! New TIE Defender which is $89.95 works $49.97 when buying x3 But you do have to get x3 sets to get the third FREE so keep that in mind. I bought x3 of each set even though I already have them, it's steal and never to happen again until Myer clicks on on the double discount day !!!!!! The sign does say "Not to be used with any other offer" but the staff member I had didn't realise. Ask no questions and get HUGE discounts !!!!!!!! Hey All, Myer has it's Buy x2 and get x1 Free 2 day sale on this weekend (Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March). A great deal through my eye's especially on Battlepacks, even though Myer sell at RRP, the deal still works out better then a % off sale at BigW or Target with discounted prices.

Hi Everyone, Just been to Myer to buy a present for the wife when I strayed into the LEGO section.......... to my surprise I saw the Venator's with a clearance sticker along with a few other sets. Had a clearance sticker saying Was: $229 Now $183.20. I thought this could be great because with their 20% off it makes it a great buy if it's ontop of the $ 183.20!!! Sad truth of it is, those clearance stickers are on, but they are not on clearance, they're only on becuase Myer has the 20% off at the moment. Doesn't that defy the logic of having a clearance item marked down? If it's normal RRP price has a special percentage off at the moment, then I don't think it makes it a clearance item. Just a word of warning for others that may be fooled with false specials and clearances at Myer !!!!!

I hate to be the party pooper, but on the Myer card for the extra 10% off, it states it excludes Toys and Books. I don't think Myers so forthcoming to be dishing out an extra 10% ontop of 20% already offered.......

In SA, Myer had the Lego Airports and a few others but not the full range like BigW and Kmart has.

For those interested, Myer has it's Buy x2 Lego sets and Get x1 FREE on Saturday and Sunday (Today and Tomorrow)!!!! So for battlepacks, $22.95 each x2 plus x1 FREE = $15.30 each ! An excellent buy..... Get in before they're all gone.....

I agree with the cancelled layby's comment, but you would have thought they would have been collected or cencelled already before X-Mas. Heck, $475 is much better then $699 and way cheaper then ordering it from the USA. Even if the box does come slightly damaged, that's still a great price for the mini-figures and to build, I doubt that Lego.com will reduce it that low. Just like the UCS Millenium Falcon, now that it's not being manufactured, they'll hold stock until the very last one sells and never discount it on their website.

You are the man !!!!!!! I've been hunting for one of those for the last 3 months !!!!! Consider it sold, I just called up ;-)

Myer does have very little Lego sets, so it sounds like they're clearing out the non selling/popular sets inorder to make way for new 2010 sets!

EDIT: I just noticed that Fire Brigade and Tantive IV have been upped to $AUD299.99 so I wouldn't be overly amazed if someone from S@H notices the 10210 Flagship is well below the '2x the US price' formula and gets changed. I can't believe it! I was shocked enough when the Tantive IV and 10197 jumped to $279.99, let alone $299.99! WOW, your right.............. Right before my very eye's it went up $20 dollars...... to be at the double the USA price point? What is going on, that means if Toys'R'Us ever gets it, it will be $349 dollars!!! Well, as per my previous posts, I guess thats another set up buying from the USA when it goes on sale. And it will go on sale, because they always do over there!!! Thanks for informing us of the price increases. Perhaps Lego.com thought no one would notice. Has anyone noticed that the Star Wars Endor set 8038 has been taken of the Australian Lego.com sale site? It's now listed as unavailable? Anyone herd anything?

I gather everyone else has noticed the doubling of prices for the new Lego sets, for example: US $24.99 - 8092 Lukes landspeeder AUS $ 49.99 - 8092 Lukes Landspeeder I wouldn't be too disappointed paying $49 dollars for the Landspeeder because it does have x5 minifigures which I think are worth the $49 dollar price point by itself, that's if I didn't know what price it is in the USA. But when I can order Lego from the US and have it shipped to Australia and come off better then buying here, is where I get disappointed. My recent prime example is the 10179 UCS Millenium Falcon which I ordered in the US, had shipped there and then mailed here to Australia. And it only cost me $600 Australian dollars with two shipping fee's (one for the US address and then FEDEX to Australia). And they're only predicting the Australian dollar to be on par to the US, then I'll be buying up more!!!!! I still can't work out with the currency difference why Lego.com would charge so much? Perhaps they think they know they can get away with it and people will still buy the sets. Or, it's the 25 million people that live in Australia compared to the 300 million population of the USA. In otherwords, start buying from the US especially when they have specials and sales on. They're very very frequent over there because their economy isn't back to what it used to be yet so they're all fighting for sales and profit.........

For anyone who's interested in the Dwindling Indiana Jones sets, I noticed that K-Mart has the: Venice Canal Chase 7197 set on clearance for $30.00 dollars (RRP $59.99). They had x25 sets so they're not rushing out the door.... I think I'll wait for another price drop before buying more sets. K-Mart didnt have any other Indy sets so I have a feeling this is the last of them. K-Marts making way for new Star Wars, Ben 10, Atlantis and Toy Story so this is why the helves are so bare, so they must be just around the corner. And local BigW's still have a huge amount of Venator 8039 sets, so the sale at $147.00 before Xmas mustn't have gone as well as they hoped. But with little specials coming from BigW these days they'll have them in stock for months to come. A clearance price of $99 dollars would be great :-) We can dream.
