  1. I ordered the CTT, T-6, The Battle of Naboo. All the products say that they ship within 24 hours so I presume they're in stock, but I'll wait 2 days before calling up, ,see if they automatically refund the money back on the credit cards or not?
  2. Those looking at doing the B&N coupon deal, perhaps don't load up on x3 Coupons for each transactions as it seems they may have caught onto everyone doing it. My orders are now marked that I have to call customer service which I think is going to have bad news for me!!!!!
  3. I have to take my hat off to 'ang911' for her supurb forum post of the B&N special, pay $10 dollars and get a $20 dollar coupon !!!! I have now purchased x24 in total and have made some sensational Lego purchases !!! People, it works, act now before Lego sets you want sell out !!!! The 30% off code works wonders but you can only use once per account, people, make accounts for your whole family like I did !!! The fact that you can use x3 $20 dollar vouchers in one transactions mean your getting $30 dollar for nothing, PLUS the 30% off the RRP price. 'ang911' has saved me so much money at the moment that I feel like im robbing B&N, I soon get over it because US consumers get the best prices on Lego anyways so im glad we can get some specials on new Lego Star Wars sets now !!!!
  4. Those tight megablocks bastards........... I can buy you a 10197 here and mail it to you and it would still be cheaper then $219! BAD Myer Amazing, sorry to hear you couldn't get what you wanted
  5. Hey Darkhorse, My local Myer only had x1 sign up regarding the additional 30% off (so they're not fully advertising it obvisouly) but what my store failed to do is also mark the Lego sets with red tickets. You had to go looking for the extra 30% off sign as it seemed to be with left over X-Mas items, Baby Clothes and some other random toys, pretty much on the side lines in the toy section. If you take the sets mentioned (in this forum) to the counter and have them scanned, you'll see that the Slave 1 will scan at $109 from it's $149 ticket price. The Fire Brigade set is RRP $299 and will scan at $219, so minus 30% = $153.30 !!!! With Myers newly installed computer system their sales are nation wide, not just state specific. If you called your nearest store, I'd suggest dropping in and doing their work for them! The only way my Myer sales staff know items were on clearance was because the price was cheaper scanned at the checkout price then the ticket price. Your looking for a A4 size red bordered piece of paper which says a further 30% off to already reduced red ticketed items (if they've printed it out and displayed it).
  6. "I popped by Myer Adelaide CBD today as well, and they seemed to have neither sets on clearance nor an additional 30 % off already reduced toys, so it might have been a Myer TTP only thing." You'll find the special is at 'Every' Myer, you just have to ask staff as most stores haven't clearly marked Lego set as a clearance item yet but the 30% off extra is certainly applicable, you just have to make sure the staff deduct the extra 30% from the price the sets scan at, otherwise they'll be overcharging you. Pity Myer hasn't put more sets on clearance.......... but great prices to be had.
  7. Hey All, Whilst my news isn't as good as the Myer Buy 2 Get 1 Free, I thought I'd share especially if someone's after the following. www.oo.com.au have the following at great prices: Lego Space Police Galactic Enforcer $79.95 Lego Star Wars Venator Class Republic Attack Cruiser $129.95 Lego Star Wars Clone Turbo Tank $149.95
  8. Anyone know when their 15% off ends?
  9. Very diplomatic...... whilst your right that the US does have a lower wage, they also have 300 million people compared to 25 million in Australia, so statistics alone would imply that price will always be cheaper in the US because they have more buyers and more competition for sales. Either way you look at it, Australian still pay far far more then the US, but then again so do certain European countries compared to the Australian dollar, so it swings around. For those unhappy about the prices, just do what I do, wait for some great store sales to come along (20% or more) and for what you can't get in Australia then you can order from the US. The price in the US + shipping usually still works out cheaper then RRP in Australia anyways, and if it's discounted in the US then you save even more. I hate to send my dollar overseas instead of a seller here in Australia but you'll find more and more people will start doing it with the cost of living going up, Lego's price rises and then the higher RRP prices Australians get. For those who order Lego sets from the US, were only a small minority which wouldn't even effect Lego profits, but seeing store like Target, K-Mart and BigW with fully stocked shelves of Lego certainly proves that consumers might not be purchasing so much anymore because they can't afford the RRP prices set in Australia, they may infact look to items such as Megablocks or Nanobricks since they're cheaper and often go on sale. Even thought Australian consumers are still spending up apparently (unlike economies in the US or UK) it appears that Lego sales are certainly slowing, they're just not flying of the shelves like they used too......... For those that have read this far, bravo, I'll stop ranting now. I know some of you will disagree with my views whilst others do see it my way, either way I do feel ripped off for what we have to pay in Australia. Keep on Nanoing......... (I hate Nanobricks)
  10. Hey Guys, I was just looking on Lego.com.au online for the new Star Wars sets when suddenly I saw something which wasn't right....... The Battle of Endor set had a price of $179.99...... Lego.com give Australians a price reduction....... that's unherd off !!!! And when did the Republic Dropship 10195 have a price tag of $299.99???? Wasn't it $399 or $349 RRP? http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=8038&cn=240&d=322 http://shop.lego.com/ByTheme/Product.aspx?p=10195&cn=416&d=322
  11. You almost seem surprised........ This way when Fishpond.com havea 50% off it will appear it's an awesome sale.......... not.
  12. Impulse sets for $1 dollar, I hope you didn't leave any of the good one's there and that you cleared them out........
  13. Do let us know if those puppies get cleared out....... If only we could get the same discounts of 50% like the US get!
  14. Ahhhhhh, jonwil...... you certainly dream the dream...... I don't blame you because what you propose many of us would want. Certainly can't be hard to do but lets live in reality and just admit that most people overseas wouldn't go to those extreme's and offer you exacutly what you'd want, that would just be the perfect customer service and that never happens. I think we have a better chance of Lego dropping their prices (here in Australia) to match US prices.............. (slim to **** all) But I do hope you find something close.
  15. Thanks for the heads up Mainee about the reduced price of the Tantive IV set, although my wallet is much lighter now........
  16. BARGAIN BARGAIN BARGAIN.................... not Seems like Lego have set their pricing way up there as per their other 2011 releases.
  17. Brilliant, now I have to wait till Tuesday for them to open....... Lets hope this is Australia wide :-)
  18. Hello asharerin, Certainly is a generous offer, at the moment people are unable to send you Private Messages but if you can post an alternative E-mail address we can all communicate/correspond with you on, that would be fantastic. Cheers, Mike
  19. Hey All, For anyone considering on ordering the UCS Obi-Wans Jedi Starfighter 10215, Australian Lego.com has slashed the price to $122.49 (30% off from it's extremely high price of $174.99 RRP). Even though the price still isn't close to the US $74.99 special price, it's better then nothing. No further specials have appeared yet on Lego.com, not unlike in 2008 and 2009 clearance specials/discontinued themes but I guess there is still time till the end of the year. Or perhaps Lego.com is just offering huge discounts on sets to the US and has forgotten about everyone else.
  20. Buy 2 Get 1 Free seem's to be the best deal around, and it's the one I always hold out for.
  21. Usually now it doesn't, in the past it did but since Myer changed over to their new Computerised Checkout system I tried to get the last 25% off special to be deducted off the Lego set catalogue price. Unfortinately it still scanned at the normal Catalogue price, no further discounts.
  22. Hey slopemodified, I just called my local Myer because in the past I have received the additional 20%/25% off on top of catalogue marked prices which made them sensational buys, but unfortiantely not this time around. Must be the new computer system Myer has installed in all their stores, the catalogue price for The Kings Castle 7946 set is $139 down from $169, so when the guy scanned the Lego set it still appreared as $139. If anyone is going to buy any Lego from Myer, it might be worth while to do your maths depending on what set your planning to purchase, for example, The Kings Castle 7946 set is RRP $169, in the catalogue for $139 or if you pay full RRP $169 minus 25% off, you'll actually get it for $127.46 (your $12 dollar better off). I wonder what Lego specials Myer will come out with for post XMas sales.....
  23. Well what crap am I reading here, cheap 'nanoblocks' which are on sale, looks like another cheap Chinese Lego rip off? Are you serious, you should be ashamed for posting such a cheap product on a Lego sales forum dedicated to Lego! Perhaps you are an employee at General Pants Co which is having a really slow sales day to post your irrelevant find here, or I might just not be cool enough..... either way those who support Lego rise up and burn nanoblocks !!!!!
