    OOC: I thought Sarge would be automatically revived to one health, since the battle was over!? If that is not the case, Thalion pickpockets the unconscious Sarge for a Phoenix Essence and uses it on him.

    After hearing the name, Thalion's eyes widen, "Morcrass?" and after hearing the man speak, he turns to see the his face, "It is you! The man from Newharbour... Indeed this is very awkward... What are you doing here?" Realizing the Duplovians might not know who the mysterious man is, Thalion whispered to them, "We've met this man already, in Newharbour, when he pretended to be a bard-beggar..."

    My previous D&D experiences thought me that non-winnable fights are sometimes winnable (level 1 Barbarian, Diviner and Ranger defeating 5, level 6 Trolls... I was a Ranger then...)! With dice not being on our side the entire time, I think you are right for this battle...

    With Sarge falling down before them, Thalion lowers his head and shakes it, "That's it... Without Sarge,there is nothing we can do about it..." He says as he throws a smoke bomb that allows the entire party to flee.

Note to QM: I had Brickington attack from back row, so he shouldn't have suffered any damage from Free Hit.

    OOC: Dont be such a defeatist, we can still take them no matter their current numbers (that is said both IC and OOC, in my case)! Legonater, would it be OK to give action for Brickington, seeing as he wasn't online for more then 24h, so that we can run more then one round during the day?

    Great looking MOC! The swamp, machinery and especially the vegetation look excellent to me.

    True, but for the heroes, that is still a problem since they have a lot less health then enemies and a constant -3 to max and/or current health doesn't help. A good thing - its not fatal, unlike poison! As far as I've seen that is a current, official ruling, but I might have missed something...

    "Cursed" lowers max. health by 3 - until remedied, battle is over or 1 remain. At least that was the official ruling, unless I missed something... That would mean it cant kill an enemy per se, but it can severely damage them and make them much easier to kill, if it lasts long enough.

    OOC: How about attacking Ambusher D so that we cover everyone, and free hit wont harm you.

But about that bow, from what you say, the only thing we can deduce is that there is someone from Delfrin who doesn't want the peace to be made OR that he is making/supplying the weapons to someone who doesn't want the peace... While useful, this information doesn't help us identify the culprit..." Thalion turns to Eyric and Quellir, "Do you know of anyone from Delfrin who might want a war to continue, here in Duplovia? Anyone who exhibits strange behavior at the peace negotiations... An ambassador, a general, someone who might be at the nagotiations and/or signing..."

    Thalion bows as he takes the dagger, "Thank you. A fine work, if I may say so... Goodbye for now!" Thalion takes the dagger back to Krinkins and hands it to him, "Here's the dagger you requested. Now, what can you tell us about the crossbow?"

    Thalion bows to the shopkeep, "Thank you!" He then takes the venom to the smith and hands it to him, "Can you finish the dagger with this vial?"

    Zepher and Flipz are right. In this case, it would be equipping an artifact, and it costs a turn too (one turn for receiving and one for equipping).
