On the course of it master Benji, myself and the others found a temple of Azazot underneath Eubric." Thalion looks at Atramor, pointing at his weapon, "The rod you carry was from our encounter with a demon lord back there. Dreadful experience... I heard later that another group of heroes went there after some strange things happened at the Hall. Then, a group of heroes, myself included, was hired to locate and retrieve the Ji Pei automaton plans and prototype. As you heard from master Legonardo already, the ones we have with us now, are based on the one we retrieved. But let me tell you, it wasn't a simple find and retrieve; we ended up fighting the robot and it was one tough opponent. After that I was part of the group that landed a hand in signing a peace treaty between Charis and Croise. Then master Nagure, myself and others helped find the Ziegfried's boy who mysteriously turned into a frog; I have to say all of our search and rescue missions were successful! And finally, I was among the group of heroes that foiled assassination attempts in High Kingdoms and helped sign a peace treaty between Duplovia and Delfrin." Thalion thinks for a moment, "I suppose that is the gist of it..." He looks around the party, "How about the rest of you?"

Thalion smiled and nodded, "Of course! It will be my pleasure..." He handed Benji his Emerald Hood.

Thalion bowed slightly as he received the Phoenix Essence, "Thank you master Tarn, and I think you are right..." He looks around at the party and adds with a smile, "We make a really good team!"

I like the changes, lowering the gold gain and increase in ether cost both seem fair, and changing the sorcerer's Shield skill to add damage is a step up. As any QM who plans his/her enemies and knows their strengths and weaknesses, I dont see it as a problem to utilize the most effective element against them. And, as Flipz said, something is indeed needed to make up for increase in ether cost and decrease in gold-gain... P.S. I really like the renaming of "Confuse" to "Slight of Hand"; I think it fits perfectly...

Thalion repeats his actions.

"Agreed!" nodded Thalion as he used the Scroll of Frailty on Male Roc, from back row. If casting fails, Thalion repeats; and if it is successful Thalion attacks Male Roc with water spell from back row. OOC: I think these actions are better formulated (to maximize damage on male Roc), since Frailty cast from scroll lasts for 3 rounds only. Its no problem to change them, if needed.

As the ship took to the sky, Thalion went to the bow, clutched the railings firmly and looked at the landscape around them, happily. This was his first true flight, excluding some minor levitation spells at the academy. "How long will this flight going to take master Vincent?"

"Interesting... Well, I suppose we'll see these new automatons in action soon enough." Thalion added as he caught the toolbox.

Not seeing Ji Pei automaton for the first time, Thalion only glances at them, and then turns to Legonardo, "Master Vincent, some time ago a group of heroes, myself included, was tasked with retrieving stolen automaton plans and a prototype robot by a man named Chalvo. We succeeded in retrieving the plans, but the automaton was damaged even tough, I believe, it was repaired later. I think its name was "Sentinel" or something similar... Tell me, could these new ones be connected with that robot?"

Thalion looks at Tarn and the others, and then at Lee, "As far as I am concerned, it would be a privilege to have you by our side. Especially since I would like to train with your order sometime in the future, if I could have the honor..." He says with a bow.

"Thank you master Benji, I will put these to good use!" Thalion adds with a smile.

Thalion bowed as he replied to the Ambassador, "You have my word as well, my lady. We will do everything in our power!" Afterwords he turned to the party, "Master Benji, master Nagure it is a pleasure to be working with you again." He turned to the others and bowed slightly, "My name is Thalion Dwinlas. It is a pleasure to meet you all."

"Treason!? That is a serious crime... Fortunately, there were no traitors in the academy, I suppose no one is willing to test themselves to mage's wrath..." Thalion says smiling, "But if there were I suppose they would have been stripped of their ether along with their affinity for it, and expelled. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go. We'll talk more next time. Stay safe!" Thalion leaves the Hall, and heads towards the Ji Pei Palace.

"I believe there is currently only one quest up for signing, the one for the Hinckwell family. If that's interesting to you... Whatever you decide, I think the rest will do you good, you look like you've been through a lot..."

"Thats good to hear! Yes, I have worked for them once in the past, and I am looking forward to helping them again. What do you plan to do now? Sign up for another quest, or takes some time to rest?"

Thalion bows as he receives the hood, "Thank you very much, this looks like a great headwear! I am good and yes, I was indeed, as a matter of fact I was just in the marketplace in preparation for a new quest. We are going to help the Ji Pei! How has your quest gone? I trust you were successful?"

On his way from the marketplace to the Ji Pei palace, Thalion makes a quick stop at the Hall. He immediately notices Arnulf and Sarge and joins them, "Hello pirates! Arnulf, you old gambler, I have something you might find interesting, knowing how much you dislike magic..." He says with a smile and takes out Duplovian helmet and hands it to the rogue.

Don't worry about it guys (especially CMP with your new and improved Pheles Rod), I'll gladly have Thalion be a backup healer - using potions/remedies on people when needed.

Great models, all of them, but the beetle is definitely my favorite. It so cute!

Thalion walks through the marketplace and heads for Portia's, "Greetings mrs. Portia! I would like one Grand Potion and one Remedy, please." He handed her 20 gold and put the items in his the items backpack. He left the marketplace with 20 - 10 - 10 = 0 gold, and headed for the Ji Pei Palace.

Thalion comes back to the Hall from his daydreaming walk and, noticing he was chosen for a Ji Pei quest, takes a moment to look at his fellow heroes. He recognized only two names... He looked around the crowded Hall, but is unable to see either Benji or Nagure. (No matter, I'll greet them when we meet at the Ji Pei Palace...) he thought as he walked to the market to get some essentials.

Great looking scene, you captured the dynamics perfectly. Also, I really like the color scheme...

"I agree with you completely on both accounts: I like staying with my arcane training as well, but singing, that would hurt my companions more then the enemies!" Thalion adds laughing.

"No particular reason, I was just wandering what possibilities does mastery of death offer. So why did you chose that path and not some other? I am sure you had other options..."
