OOC: Just a heads up CMP; I changed target to Pilgrim for scroll and attack (I thought Hybros would help Red in attacking San-Ioh this round), and I also just noticed that Thalion should have more SP, Ether and immunity to Sealed from the robe... Naughty, naughty CMP...

Thalion approaches his fellow heroes, "We all got pretty similar stories from everyone here, so I don't think we can learn anything more from these people. Lets just be on the lookout for Red and Wally, as it seems like the unveiling is about to start..." He finishes the sentence with a quick gulping down of a mixture of Nostrum and Smelling Salts.

"Melvin is here too? I didn't see him... Hmm... It seem almost everyone is here to see the Masked Man, no matter what else they say... Well, I have to go, but it was nice talking to you. Say "Hi" to captain Illdria for me when you see her!", and with that, Thalion bowed and went to the heroes, Red and Wally. He stood patiently waiting for the event to begin.

Thalion smiled as he was speaking, "It is good to see you too! I have been doing great since last we saw each other. Tell me, are you here alone? Is the captain with you? And may I ask what are you doing here? I don't mean to be rude, I just I didn't expect to see you here..."

"Thank you!" Thalion made a slight bow to the strange speaking person, and returned to his fellow heroes. He heard the mumbling and saw a familiar face near Hybros, "Knife-Tongue? Is that you?"

A small explanation for readers of Thalions posts: I use this color and brackets to indicate Thalion's internal monologue and thoughts. I get that some people who read what we do on quests dont care about that sort of thing, but I like it as I fell it gives more color to a character... Aside from that, I have no problem answering the question on #82 JimB, since I imagine Hybros saw Thalion's expressions and body language, and guessed what he was thinking even if he cannot read his thoughts per se...

Thalion turned to Hybros, "Yes master Hyrbos, we, elves do live forever (or long enough so that forever is a close approximation), tough some live longer then others I suppose. But that was a gift from the Gods! It cannot be bottled and sold at the market! The very idea of something like that is ridiculous... And besides, even we do not stay forever young, the aging is something even we cannot avoid. It doesn't come quickly like with the mortal races, it is rather slower with us, but it is inevitable." While his companions were engaged in talking to the other people, Thalion approached the green headed person, wearing a sand green cloak, "Greetings! Are you here about the unveiling event too? Have you heard anything interesting about it? I heard its about a potion that grants eternal youth..."

@CMP: I would like to continue talking to the NPCs, and ask a random dwarf something, but its 5AM here, and I have to get some sleep, but I dont want to start a conversation and leave it hanging... So I'll guess, here applies the famous: "to be continued..."

"I sure do, Thanks!" Thalion replied with a wink. When he turned, he rolled his eyes (A "cure all" AND a "forever young" potion, I don't believe that guy...) not believing the man's gullibility. He walked back to the party and told them about what the man said. "Should we go and ask those dwarves if they know anything?"

No, I couldn't have. If I had switched to Nephilim, I wouldn't know who shared their alignment - it stated so in the ability, but I could switch back and be nice again. -
"Phew, finally..." Thalion puts the AIUP down, wipes the sweat of his forehead, and puts the Robe back on. He turns and looks at the werebat person, immediately thinking about Riley the werebat alchemist he had met earlier. He approaches the man, "Greetings! I see you are close to the stage there, do you know when the event is about to start?"

"I believe... everyone here... went under... Eubric... at some point... or another... in the past... but we are all... alive and well... so we'll make sure... our new friends... are too... so that we all... get to our... destination... safely... And... master Maurice... I think... we are all... very serious... about our mission... No harm... shall come... to our... protages..." Thalion says with a troubled breathing, trying to keep up with everyone's pace.

Thalion unequips his Robe and equips AIUP. "Uhhhh, this is heavy..." He looks at Hybros, "I think you may be right master Hybros", he then turns and looks at Maurice, "Master Maurice, perhaps it would be better if you carried this thing!? Either way, we can proceed..."

Thalion looking at Rook but getting the answer from another source sharply turns, and looks at Red, "Oh, OK. I suppose that's all that I can think of for now. If someone else has something to ask the should do so, otherwise I am ready to go." He walks up to U'kin raising his hand, "I'll carry the AIUP thing for now." OOC: I figure, if anything is to happen on the way there, best that Thalion ends up being slowed.

Because I figured there were only 6 - 10 Nephilim when the game started, and since two were discovered rather quickly and easily, and I would not gain an info on who else was it, I would have been slaughtered soon as well (which I intended NOT to do, since in my char's bio it stated that he was a true survivor). Had the game gone in a different direction, don't think for second I wouldn't have switched sides to join the winning team (after all, that was in char's description as well - win/survive at all costs). The main problem with Regulator here was that I only had the option of attacking in melee, and as such could have been identified easily and brought down soon after I went on Nephilim side. Had there been any potential for a non detectable attack, maybe... I would also like to use this opportunity to sincerely apologize to anyone who had trouble reading and/or deciphering what O'Blix was saying. I only tried to imagine and show (to the best of my ability) what a half-literate, spiteful, little goblin would sound like. -

I am really glad I had the chance to play in the Heroica/Mafia hybrid as it was a ton of fun! It will be nice to see what changes will occur the next time around... Great pictures and story made the already great game - excellent, thanks Sandy! -
Both sets look very nice! Special props to the way you packed a nice damage potential on such a small mech.
