There's a shop not far from my home who's selling some stock at reduced price. It's in dutch, so I've underlined the actual prices in red (incl vat). Underneath are the official Lego prices. He has more than one from each item in the list (If needed I can ask how many for each he still has in stock). http://www.majhost.com/gallery/bonaparte/E...res-5/stock.jpg

One word: Impressive! So cruel, these Islanders. What they won't do to please their Gods. Seems to be a MOC having a huge amount of bricks. Building the rock/hill should have taken a bit of time I guess. It looks very natural, like a rock should be.

You've made a fine looking ship. I see you've put a lot of effort in the line of the ship. I like a lot the picture from the side showing the curved yellow line. I'll be waiting for the BS folder to go public so I can get a better view on some parts. Personally I would suggest to use a different color of rope for the rigging, more dark (as it was in reality). Also your sails look a bit lifeless; I had the same problem on my previous ship (L'Orient). How many hull mid-sections did you use?

Our server has been down for several hours, but now we're back for good. What happened? Our provider had a short circuit in their cooling system. This cooling system controls the temperature of the server-room and prevent the servers from overheating. To avoid damage to the servers because of overheating, all servers have been powered down till the cooling system was restored.

This is a very decent ship! It's got a fine shape, cool color schema, nice and rather realistic rigging. I find also some small details (like the way the anchor is connected) to be very accurate. I was hoping to find a picture of the stern (taken from the back side of the ship) but couldn't find one in the gallery. Maybe you could still add one? The stern of the ship is one of my favorite parts and it's got a lot of possibilities for adding small details and fantasies. In summary, a fine ship! I like it at lot!

Did you know all the new pirate sets are in sale in Blokker? All except the ship. For example, the new fortress costs only 39,90 euro which is a 10 euro discount over the official prizes and 15 euro compared to Bart Smith!

Lego has this policy for years already. And from an intellectual ownership perspective it makes a lot of sense!

Happy B-day Mr. Vice-Admiral!

The churches are full of statues of Jezus being crusified... . Anyway, let's not make this a religious discussion and focus our comments on the MOC. If anyone has more concern about this, please contact me via PM and we can look into those.

I didn't notice that before. Indeed, no cars and I love that. I'm not a car hater, but I don't like them much because they are noisy machines (I hate noise) and one nearly ran over me and my bike a week ago. I like this nice and quiet banner without any damn cars. About the hand, the poor guy clearly has a handicap having his hand upside down. Still he's featured in our banner as we accept people as they are on Eurobricks. I hope that's a good enough story to justify the upside-down hand

This looks so very good. I wouldn't even know how to start drawing something like this. You are a true artist! It's still there. I can see it, can't you?

That wasn't easy, but I felt it was needed so I did it. Risk was ruining a lot of the rigging, but that didn't happen. Yes, you did. What was I thinking? It will be much more authentic with the gaff sail. It worked perfect. I did have a good example Thanks Thanks Mr. Tiber. I hope you haven't abandoned that wonderful ship of yours. I'd love to see some progress pictures of your ship. Thanks a lot! I'm nearly ready with the rigging. Once that's done, I'll post a pic of the rigging (should be somewhere this week I hope). Currently my French fleet has nothing to match this ship, but that will soon change! Thanks for the offer General, but my British force is not entire helpless Thanks Joey and Cap'n! Some extra ships always come in handy during battle!!!

That's a good question. Yesterday I could make some good progress by finishing all the ratlines and adding the second anchor the same way you added the first one (it bought another grey anchor via BL). Besides all that i did some modifications to the ship. I've shortened the big sail a bit (the one which CGH put on the ship already) and made it 1,5 cm shorter so a minifig can better pass under it. Also I've decided to replace the lateen-sail connected to the mizzen-mast by a gaff-sail as this is more historically correct for the ship I'm building (hope the sail/mast terms are correct; I searched for them on the Internet). I took of the mizzen-mast yesterday and changed it for that reason (that's done now). Next I'll need to finish all the other rigging (and I need to study for that a bit). Last I'll be making all the sails and finish some more details on the ship (flags/emblems). I don't want to put a final date as my goal is to make is as perfect as possible. I'm guessing in 2 months it should be about ready. Hopefully sooner....
