Maybe it would. But then again, how many real forts do you know that are white. It look quite authentic with the grey.

Personally I find it hard to suggest anything that could be added to this MOC. It can always be made bigger, but I find it rather perfect in it's current state.

I use 21 minfigs for making a regiment (including an officer). There is not special reason for that number. My regiments all have a unique flag. It contains the names of the battles the real regiments of the grande armee fought. For the rest my line infantry regiments are identical. Shouldn't we restrict ourselves to the same timezone :-D

First I do a lot of research on the internet to get an idea what the ship should look like. Then I start building as much as possible with the right color bricks. Once I finish a part (e.g. the hull), I order the bricks that I miss and wait until they arrive. Then this slow process continues. My last ship took 6 months to complete :-D

Then why don't we just re-open it? Done. So this message was a voice from the past... But who knows, maybe he wasn't refering to the 4+ Jack Stone pirates. Maybe he got his eye on plans to relaunch system pirates in 2008. Let's hope....

What a great ship this is Captain. That stair on the outside is very creative. I don't think I've seen that before. I surely looks good. And this ship so stuffed with little details that make this so special. Also the colors you've chosen are perfect. No negative remarks on this one from me. One thing on the pictures. There is a little bit too much light coming from behind. I would suggest to take the pictures outside. Same for the fortress. Also it would be better to resize the pics to 800x600. Now they are 1600x1200 which takes a long time to load on my screen. We have a good batch resize tutorial (check the index on top of the MOC forum). Just some suggestions ;-)

What a beauty this MOC. I'm so impressed with how this looks. There's this beautiful fortress and all the scenery outside the fortress. You even made a cave at the beach. I'm planning to make a fortress myself (one day) and this is an excellent source of inspiration. Lovely toilet. But why does he still have his pants on? :-D Great job Phred with the indexes.
