  1. Please read: This thread is only for making decal requests and for confirming if you'll be creating a requested decals. All the rest (showing your creations, feedback, ...) should be posted in dedicated threads in the Minifig Customisation Workshop. Else this thread will become a mess. Thanks ;-)
  2. The storage drawers are from Curver. I just went to their site because I wanted to give the link but it seems they are no longer there :'-( I selected this one because it was already on the market for a long time and expected this was a stayer. So I hoped I could buy some more of these in a few years. Anyway, I just sent a mail to Curver to clear this out.
  3. Thanks Captain! The red decks were a bit of an experiment because at the time I only had enough black and red plates. I went for the red ones because you easily notice dust on black plates. You just have to think of them as being brown which looks a bit like red... ;-) I have a few improvements planned for this ship. Now the anchors are hung in the rigging and I want to change that. I also want to make a better figurehead for L'Orient.
  4. It's great to see new work from our "Chief Torso Designer". You did a fine job on these new uniforms. They'll make a good addition to our pirate torso library.
  5. A most interesting find. You certainly did something useful at the office ;-) The techniques used in this ship are remarkable. But also the water, and the way objects are partly under the water, is quite impressive. I've seen this now, so no need for any copying of these technique in the pirate forum :-P
  6. You forgot to add nimaj to your user name :-D
  7. Nice interview! I never knew a lot about Sne, but now I feel like I know him a little better *sweet*
  8. Eagles - Hotel California
  9. Same here! Welcome to Eurobricks!!
  10. Aha, another member from iBricks. Sorry to hear what happened. I was also a (not very active) member. Welcome here! We'll do our best to make you feel at home.
  11. It's never too late for an introduction ;-) I hope you keep on having a good time here.
  12. You are most welcome here! I was a member of iBricks, but I only posted 10-20 messages in total. Hope you've found a new home here ;-)
  13. Well, let's hope this happens. It would be a smart move of TLC. And it will produce lots of interesting minifigs.
  14. I have to write something in this thread because I'm in Portugal currently :-) . Our Master Index builder Mr. Phred will take care of indexing the flags once the problem with the pixelated edges is worked out. But I think you are doing a great job with these Mr. Whipstick *y* .
  15. You are right, this is the perfect time to join! Did you check out our new Minifig Customisation Workshop already? ;-) Welcome here and have fun!
  16. My sails are in a special box. I still need a solution for that. Many minifigs are mixed. Only my armies are in separate boxes (Napoleonic, English, Crusaders and Black Falcon). The bass speaker is on the ground and those little ones don't vibrate that much :-D Have any pictures of that P? I've several SW sets. I'll try to add some pics of my sets in the (near) future.
  17. Happy birthday!!
  18. This is very impressive work *wub* Welcome at Eurobricks!
  19. You've brought us an interesting selection of wikipedia links. Being a history freak myself, I'll certainly read some of them. But that will only be in one week from now (when my holiday starts *sweet*).
  20. Welcome at Eurobricks Dan! You are taking a dream start by bringing us this marvelous MOC. It's clear the rock existed first and the fortress was build on the rock. What I mean is this: Most builders would start with building a fortress and then add some vegetation and some rocks. Your approach is much more like how real fortresses where build. A special rock or hill was chosen as a site for the fortress because the fortress could benefit from the landscape. Your fortress is one of the most realistic and authentic fortresses I've seen in this forum. I'm sure I'll look at these pictures again a few times in the coming days. I have also plans to build a fortress some day and this is very inspiring!
  21. Yes, this is the best place for Lego news! I hope you have a pleasant say with us ;-)
  22. Another James Bond fan! We should get together one day. I'm a die hard James Bond fan. Welcome on Eurobricks!
  23. What a massive display *wub* There is so much on these pictures... Where ever I look there is something special to see. Thanks for posting!
  24. It's nice to see some designs covering not only the front of the torso, but also the sides. I can't wait to see more work from you Princess ;-)
  25. You're making good progress *y* I reworked the overall look of the index a bit.
