  1. I admire the innovative design of this ship. The way this hull is constructed is UNIQUE! And all the details give it the finishing touch.
  2. Wow, this is a nice surprise! I love the looks and overall design of this ship! Haven't seen this color scheme before, but is most certainly works. And it has the famous "thumblehome effect". The only part that needs a bit of work is the stern which looks a bit blocky in contrast to the rest of the ship. Also I'm not a big fan of those windows with the hatches. Besides this, I can offer no suggestions for improvements.
  3. 62c There were some very fine entries in our latest competition that deserve a decent discussion. I'll give the example by posting my entry in a separate thread. I would like to encourage all the contestants of the Pimp your IMTP ship contest to make separate threads for their ships. The sidewheeler "La Gloire" build by the empire of France can run both on steam and sail. It is a small but fast ship that can be used for a variety of naval tasks. It's built in a black and white color scheme with a bit of brown. Here we see the ship on a secret mission for the emperor somewhere near the North Pole. * Special thanks to Legeaux who's ship 'Guerre de Roue' was a big inspiration. The design of the sidewheels is based on his brilliant ship.
  4. That's indeed an interesting part. I had never seen it before. Your progress on the ships is impressive. This will be one hell of a beast once finished.
  5. Another collector of minifigs *sweet* Welcome at Eurobricks! I hope you have a great time here ;-)
  6. My congratulations to Benk for winning the Pimp Your IMTP contest! You made a wonderful ship and this is well deserved. Special thanks to the Captain for organizing this fun contest. I enjoyed working on my ship and it made me realize the possibilities of these small hull pieces. No no, I would never do something like that. But I do know who is the guilty one :-P
  7. No need for that Mr. Phes! Your place is here ;-)
  8. Hola, this is good work! I've seen finished MOCs that don't look half as good as your WIP. As Mr. Phes already said, you are a very talented builder.
  9. Hi Marek! Welcome at Eurobricks ;-)
  10. Welcome here ;-)
  11. Another first-rate review! It's a nice little set with a big number of minifigs. And 2 flintlock guns is also a nice bonus.
  12. Thanks for these fantastic review. It's the first time I take a good look at these sets. There is a good chance I'll buy the Dwarf's Mine Defender, especially for that price.
  13. I really like how this WIP looks! If you continue like this the result will be very good.
  14. Welcome at Eurobricks!
  15. This one certainly deserves it's own thread. I like this calender, but like some I find the price a bit too high. The box art is extremely good. Brings me right back in a X-mas mood :-)
  16. These are 1:1 scans normally. When I opened some of these in the past with Paint Shop Pro (not free) and then print, they were a perfect match. But opening with some other program and printing them changed the size in my case *wacko* Let's hope someone can explain how to best print them without changing the size.
  17. :-D Happy B-day ;-)
  18. This is very impressive *wub* When it is finished I'll come over to have a look with my own eyes ;-)
  19. Welcome at Eurobricks!
  20. Welcome in our friendly community ;-)
  21. I really admire you for starting such a big project. Those initial hulls both look good! But I can't yet extrapolate in my mind what the end result will look like judging from these pics. Keep us informed!
  22. Welcome at Eurobricks! This is best way to introduce yourself *y* Your buildings are are fantastic. Especially the hospital looks great *wub* Does it have an interior?
  23. Modern? They are sooooo old. First ones where build around 1800. I would have to look for the exact date. Sidewheelers ON!
  24. Happy B-day guys !!!
  25. These articles are really a unique resource for pirate fans. This is another fine edition that I enjoyed reading. Keep them coming guys, I'm looking forward to "more".
