Cheers dude! I am a massive SHIELD Fan so I need to ask - was it a SHIELD Agent who was generic? Also, was there a SHIELD Vehicle included? -

Sorry man! XD I ordered a bunch of SHIELD Soldiers earlier (Can see them in the Licensed Photography thread), and had the Hasbro carrier out, so thought I'd share it for comparison. -
Entagled with the H.Y.D.R.A, it's time to cut off one head...

I wonder what the Helicarrier scale will be? If it is not minifigure accessible, I may not bother with it, as the Hasbro piece does a nice job at meeting a reasonable scale for Lego Minifigs! I mean, look at this scale, and imagine how many blocks it would take! -

Hmmm, so Lego could maybe just include studs with each launcher? -

What exactly does it do to the minifigs? I heard about it, but not the effect it has! -

Plus, I think the Avengers version has a lot more character. It was the only one in the film, so it meant so much more when it suffered damage, as you really felt this epic piece of technology could be gone in the blink of an eye. With CA:TWS, as much as I loved the sequence with three Helicarriers, I feel that would cheapen their value as a toy, as they are not so unique, and don't have as much flair. -

I am not hoping for too many as I know what Lego are like. I will be bitterly dissapointed if they miss out on such a great opportunity to make an amazing MCU Centre-Piece playset though. Has so much potential, and can really be so much more than just a display piece. In my opinion, the little silly gimmicks and play features are what make LEGO- LEGO!, and really help distinguish their sets and bring so much more life and flair to them. A set like this not being a playset would be a tragic fail of design, IMO. -

I should point out that those front-facing Cannons seen are not specific to the CA:TWS Variation - there are front facing cannons/antennae on the Avengers variant of the Carrier too. -

I definitely feel there is potential for a long-lasting subline here - it all depends on Lego!- 1,412 replies

I could see three rooms whilst maintaining the structural integrity needed. The Command Deck, with a couple of banks of computers and most notably, Fury's computer, the middle room being Loki's Cell, with a small catwalk around it and the ability to pull out a Technic pin so the cell actually drops, and then the Lab, which could actually have a window in it to look out the back of the vessel. There is so much possibility for a good PLAYSET with this, that if it is a display-only piece, I will be bitterly disappointed. -

I am just really excited regardless. Do people think it would sell better if it had interior access? I can't really picture it doing too great otherwise as I know there was a lot of negativity towards the fact that the Tumbler was a big set which was not minifigure scale. I really hope we see Coulson and Hill - they practically have perfect designs for them from the video game! Is anyone else upset that a lot of the good content from the game never really transitioned into real sets? -

I'm glad to hear people are thinking this will be a line like LOTR - they could easily cover the three original films and the Jurassic World sequel over about five years, giving us everything we need. Here's hoping. :D- 1,412 replies
