  1. Got my three sets! Pternadon Capture is a great set - two very nice figures, and a really cool helicopter which isn't too far from the actual Helicopter within the film, so it is a fantastic piece! Very satisfied with this as a set for £20 indeed. Dilophosaurus Ambush is another great set - the jeep build is fantastic and has lots of nice building techniques used throughout to create a really, really cool model. Very happy. The Gyrosphere is also very enjoyable, and the Dilophosaurus is fantastic! The Raptor Rampage is a nice set - the build is very faithful to the on-screen counterpart, the raptors are great and it is generally a nice set. I must admit - it does feel kinda small for £50, however. LEGO could have benefited from adding a nice interior to the vet section, or making it slightly larger so it could actually accomodate a raptor. Another ACU Member would have been a welcome addition to. Great sets overall - loving this line.
  2. Very tempted to pick this up and use it as part of a Jurassic World setup, as we know the park has theme park elements. Shall have to see. Phenomenal job by the designers at LEGO - this is a very impressive piece indeed!
  3. Just ordered Raptor Rampage, Dilophosaurus Ambush and Pterandon Capture to collect in Argos after four o'clock this afternoon. Will let you all know what I think of them. Very excited for them - my imagination is alive today already with the possibilities they present!
  4. I did see that - not sure if I like that! Doesn't make the paddock feel so safe. There are reviews of it on Youtube. :)
  5. The Indominus set looks great, and I love the pictures you took - you show how it is possible to make an awesome setup with just the two Raptor sets. I love how the Indominus Enclosure has a viewing area - I might expand that to be slightly larger when I get the set. Anyone planning to create some paddocks for the other dinosaurs? And who else hopes we will get an ACU Polybag?
  6. Got a surprise Super Girl - thank you guys!!!!!
  7. The website just gets me even more hyped for the film! I find the description for Vic Hoskins familiar - Dennis Nedry anyone?
  8. I should point out that this is my theory and not confirmed - I am still in the pre-film hype!
  9. I've put it really small because I couldn't get the tag working! Holy hell - just saw AoU and it was incredible! So, so satisfied with it, and I have a major theory! Remember back in Agents of SHIELD Season 1, when we saw those SWORD Agents guarding the Guesthouse? That was building to this the whole time! SWORD were Fury's people manning the Carrier, and the one's who helped to establish the Avengers Initiates facility. Because SWORD still exists and is still running fine. The question is, how will SHIELD tie in?
  10. Sweet, hopefully that means we get some decent sales across places once they have been out for a while then.
  11. I want to get Dilophosaurus Ambush and Raptor Rampage in the same go, and Maybe Pterandon Capture, then will buy the rest over the Summer. How long do we think these will be on sale for?
  12. I had an idea - since the UK only generally see's one Polybag, they should release a Limited Edition for an extra £10 that includes all the different ones. Also, is there anyone who would want a second JW wave?
  13. I think Big Hats off to the designers in general! This is one of the first lines where we have really seen an awesome selection of builds which actually aren't all that far from their movie counterparts - and I think that, that in particular is fantastic! I love pretty much all the builds in this line apart from the Raptor Pen, but with some modification, even that will be good.
  14. Possibly, if you replaced some of their elements. Honestly, an all black minifigure with a Tac Vest from Brickarms and a Brickarms helmet is great.
  15. It does seem likely that the JP Ideas Set will become a set, although I personally would prefer a repaint of the T-Rex mould to match the film as opposed to a brick-built piece!
  16. There's no link - this is what I was told by a LEGO Store employee. He said they have no intentions to make JP sets as the Studio sets cover it, and that there will only be one wave of Jurassic World sets. He said the only likely original JP set would be the ideas set getting approved.
  17. That would be cool. Fair point - I forgot how big the Triceratops is. I'm upset that the JP sets are a definite no, but who knows - maybe we will see some updated JP figures in this packs? And for anyone wondering, LEGO count the original Studio sets as actual Jurassic Park sets, which is why we aren't seeing anymore of them at the moment!
  18. Dang nabbit Just2Good, you beat me there! Joking aside - thank you for the fantastic review buddy, this is the one set I was really stoked for, and on watching your review, I have decided I am getting one at release, and will get one, maybe two more when they go on sale - I want a fleet of these bad boys! I think with a slight mod the area behind the driver where the crates are could hold a second minifig, constantly having the crates in their second position. On a plus side, when I did have my trip to the LEGO Shop, the staff member I spoke to mentioned that we will be seeing Jurassic World expansion packs for Lego Dimensions. I take the plural loosely - it may only be one. This is exciting though as we still have potential opportunity for a Triceratops or other dinosaur, and may be able to get some more ACU to army build!
  19. Awesome, thanks for taking the time to answer my question!
  20. Did it feel on par with the other LEGO games? I know this isn't technically the right thread for it, but I am intrigued as the play dynamics are definitely going to be very different to any of the LEGO games we have had beforehand.
  21. Fair enough pal. :) I really want a Coulson Minifigure with a brickbuilt Destroyer, although I would rather him in a main set. :)
  22. MOD PLEASE DELETE. Have no idea how I did this but I somehow quoted myself by accident when viewing the thread. Apologies.
  23. That would be cool - one with the Green eyes Good dude - I am very excited too
  24. Sounds that we will not be getting Bruce in the UK then, although talking to this guy in the LEGO Shop, he did say that they want to push to get more Preorder bonuses out in other countries. Ack that sucks. What if Falcon is the other? How do we decide? Sorry for the double quote - literally just came up. I can't remember what else he said pal, but it did sound like Marvel were getting a lot of sets next year, so it is always a possibility. I would've pushed more but was worried that if I asked too much I'd get myself in trouble to tell the truth. Next time I am there, which may be over the May half term, I will try and push more.
