Great review. I also really like this set. It has great minifigures, a really cool horse, the old skeleton, and a scorpion which I do not have to many of. So I would give this set 10/10 because you really cannot expect more from a set of this size.

Well I would really like to see a hoth base. I mean the last one to me was kind of lame and I think that a proper hoth base with the central command center, a ship hanger, and the two big doors would be just perfect. Also they could include one of the new AT-STs from the battle of endor to go along with it. That would make it just perfect.

Very nice. I wish that I could get the old AT-AT but, I just don't have the money. Again great mod on this really great set.

What I wish they would do is make a piece that has horns and that could just stick on top of the great helm and thereby eliminate any possible ugly holes on the sides. I would really like to have some teutonic knights. Maby brickforge will make some horned great helms after a while.

Thats nice. Well lego really doesn't tend to have those kinds of problems at least in my experience. I wouldn't worry about it too much. What I would worry about is how dirty you let you legos get and how much direct sunlight you expose them to.

They add a special and unique flavor to the Pirates theme that would not exist if they had never come out. I also really like the main jungle set with the river. Awsome.

My only wish is that they put two eye slits in the great helms and made them so that you can put horns on them like the Teutonic Knights had.

The brickforge one is much better and more detailed and I personally wish that Lego had never made one. I just don't like it. That being said, they could change it, since most of these pictures are still preliminary.

Good Review. I like the pictures and the some of your mini dioramas. I think this sets is awsome. There are so many useful parts and the AT-ST on this set is my favorite. I plan to get more just for the AT-STs. Great review of a Great set.

This is great. I love the PoP games and I would really like to participate in a contest. Unfortunatly, I have just gotten into the Star Wars theme and the new PoP game is coming out it May so I may not be able to participate. Ah, well I will enjoy everybody's creations and the new forum theme for now.

I wouldn't say that anymore, not for a while at least. The economy here is Really Bad. It is probably the worst since the 80s and it doesn't look like it is going to get much better anytime soon. So, yes it is getting to far to drive to TRU at least in my neck of the woods. I am hoping Fred Meyer will carry them soon so that I can get them there.

Has there been any updates on when Lego will release the castle line in the US.

Awsome, simply breath taking. I especially like the dining hall and the pit of fire. Those were great. I also like the detail of the foliage on the outside of Fordlandia and I like the cliffs. This MOC is just too cool.

Great review. I do somewhat agree with you about the color of the arches but, I am also kind of happy that they included the arches in the new color since we only have two sets with arches in that color. I would also recommend the battle of alamut to you since it is very much like this set only much bigger and more detailed.

Great job. I can't wait to see them finnished. One thing I would suggest is that you should use the new gold windows instead of the yellow and black. I think they would look a lot better.

Man there are just too many new Lego sets coming out this year; Prince of Persia, Imperial Flagship, Star Wars sets, etc... Well I will say that it certainly is better than about 7 years ago when Lego had nothing out that was even remotely interesting, except for Star Wars of course.

There never was a MB set for POTC 4. They only did POTC 1-3. I should know since I used to collect them. Back on topic. If the movie is halfway successful there will be a franchise kind of like Narnia and if the Movie is a complete washout like Cutthroat Island there will be no franchise. I kind of think that the former will happen though and that we will see more PoP sets in the near future.

What's wrong with looking like the crownies. I like the red and white version of the crownies and having a tunic over chain mail is more realistic. Take a look at the English knights on Braveheart, not the Scotch, and look at the crusaders on Kingdom of Heaven. Also If you read books about knights, the knights, not regular infantry, usually had tunics over chain mail because the chainmail breathes well and the tunic allows for the knights to show the coat of arms of who they are fighting for. So I have to say that I really like the newer figures.

Well I agree with you 100%. I have to say that I am very glad they are coming out with another AT-AT. I never had the chance to get either of the older ones and I don't have $300-$400 to spend on just one set, if I got it off of ebay, bricklink, etc... so I am very excited about this new one.

The metalic arms represent chain-mail which knights would commonly wear with a tunic over the chain-mail that would show their coat of arms.

I know that this is probably a bit off of the current discussion but, I have recently gotten into Lego Star Wars and was a little sad to miss both the Motorized AT-AT Walker and the Death Star as I will not have enough money soon to get them. I was browsing your forum and then I saw what looks like a now AT-AT Walker coming out this year. Is that true?
