  1. Nice realization, when I see the old green fences I feel at home!
  2. I love the realistic design and the mechanism I like your scale model sizes, you have create your own standard. The Shell truck is beautiful
  3. I love the perfect design of this electric loco The red colour is what I like the most because remember me the lego set 10183. I really appreciate such great complexity in traction mechanism ...very well realized!
  4. Hi Sava, this is absolutely amazing! I can count 10 large size wheels with piston rod, I really love steam engines! Super!
  5. Hi everyone, since I have found bricklink on the web five years ago I spend every month more than 200 euros but how much cash can you spend without raising a red flag? I wonder how the average bricklink user spends. Personally I have also some problems in accumulate so much Lego stuff! So here the final question: when you see a beautiful masterpiece on brickshelf (or on the web) with milions little pieces don't you also think "How much does it cost?"
  6. Amazing layout splitted into many levels I wonder how you have made the bridges, I can count thousand pieces there!!!
  7. Amazing design, so simple but also so clever! May we see the inside structure Deejay?
  8. The 7862 set is not so usefull, it's hard to use it correctly (I mean succesfully) ...you need it only if you want to complete your 12v collection
  9. Hi Gareth, I've three transformers because the layout is split into three part: as you can see from the picture there are six different circuits and every couple of ciruits is powered by a single transformer. Six train can run simultaneously, every transformer gives energy to two trains. Hi Leg Godt Gud and ANTP, thanks for the kind words, I appreciate that! I have many town sets but the room is not big enough for all of them to be exposed, so when I play with trains I use only stations to fulfill my layout.
  10. True word of wisdom AFOL12v ...let me say that I'm impressed by your collection of control points
  11. Dear all, for the past month I have been building this layout ...so thank you so much for the complimets! ...oh yes I've recorded one hour of movie on 2 mini-dvd , but I'm not yet able to make any upload (I really need to learn how to do) My version of BR23 and Emerald Night have the same size, both of them can negotiate the switches, the only problem of this new locomotives on 12 volts track is that they are too large to run near another train, this is the reason why they run in the isolated inner layout Yes there is a logic to the way I've assigned the control to switches and signals, as you see in the pictures on the control points there are some slope with different colours that you can find also on the switches Right, I've a huge layout of town set, but the size of my room is not enough to use simultaneously all of that! Kind regards
  12. Hi Fuzzylegobricks, nice to meet you!

  13. Hi everyone, as I’ve promised you can see my 12 Volts train collection here. This wonderful “gray era” remembers me non only my childhood but has a sense of magic in my life. For the first time stations and trains weren’t simply empty shells infact minifigures are part on the scene, and you can have them on locomotives and passenger wagons. When I was 10 I’ve seen the train set 7740 for the first time and I really fell in love. How don’t remember the 1980 Lego train catalog with the news of lights and remote signals? Now enjoy this journey in the past… ...to see the complete gallery (more than 500 pictures ) click on the link below... Brickshelf ...see you soon with next episode
  14. Hi Hoeij, and nice to meet you... sorry about that but I don't think I'm responsible of that ...I've notice the same on bricklink, but the love for lego is bigger than any problems! As someone says: "keep_on_bricking!"
  15. Hi all, thank you very much for all the nice replies! I've spent a lot of time (and money ) during last two years to complete this collection and to clean every single pieces of lego from the dust (using water, soap, brush and compressed air )! 1) The white train is the original Power Funcions, I've only bought a middle wagon more and completed the ICE train with back red lights. 2) My 12 volt layout is a little bit greater than 4,5 layout as you will see ...I hope soon ! For the traction I've bought new rubber bands on e-bay, you can easily find both type (gray and black) there. Kind regards
