Adding rods to MOD set 75955, the Hogwarts Express
LEGO Train 12 Volts replied to zephyr1934's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You have done a great work for all of us The part list is the icing on the cake! -
Wow this is exactly what I was looking for! I'm plan to build a sort of steel plant!
-
Thanks Feuer Zug ...next months your curiosity will be satisfied! Yes the middle axle have a little gap for floating and the locomotive runs on standard lego curves very well. About the trains collection I know what you mean but I really have no more room to stock new MOCs ...but if you prefer I can say that unless I find a strong source of inspiration I have no plans for new locomotives!

MOC Tank engine locomotive - Knapsack style
LEGO Train 12 Volts replied to Selander's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I'm impressed by your creations Selander, and also this new one is lovely! I find the rear wagon very clever, it's amazing the skilful way you've hide the PF components ...but I have one question: why is powered also the PF motor on the wagon? -

Very nice little (with large scale ratio) locomotive! At first glance I thought I saw one of Sven's masterpieces ...I hope to see the model in real bricks! -

I totall agree: the shape and the livery of this Danish double-ended locomotive is so special that I kept this beauty for the end of the tour! Thank you so much Thorsten ...it's an honour receive such enthusiastic compliments especially if they come from a great friend as you are! You make me blush! Thank you @harnbak and @Man with a hat

LEGO VT 11.5 Trans Europ Express (TEE)
LEGO Train 12 Volts replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Epic model masterfully realized! There are so many details that I don't know where to start ...first of all the bogies: I like how there are outer covered and builded also with the grilled tile that seems a ladder. Second feature: the frontal lights installed without using the drill, is not something you see every day on a locomotive with a so complex nose The roof of the wagons has a beautiful curved profile, and those expensive old school train windows and the tan colors do justice to this train! I like the porthole with the upside down arch and the whole convoy in the night with the inner lights! The roof colour that I prefer is the ligh gray one: as the original train is just come out of the factory ...moreover that light gray colour is perfectly integrated with the diagonal strip on the nose! Nice shot Matthes!- 51 replies

Not yet ...but since 2019 I think I'll be ready!

This trolley negotiate the standard lego curves easily As you can see in the picture the middle axle is the old one from the 9v era and can slide some mm. I think that a rigid frame more long than mine would compromise the performance of the bogie (expecially with 4 axles).
-
I agree ...or maybe the new OcTRAINber if ever there will be again!
-
I totally agree, the portholes are stickers but the black sometime looks brighter than lego black Thank for the compliments! Thanks neonic, I'm glad to inspire you!
