Thinking about it the Kwik-E-Mart (city corner style) and the Simpsons house (Friend's style two storey house) would be an easy set to produce.

You know the funny thing.....a few hours ago I thought to myself.....how would I build a Kwik-E-Mart ? The show is still popular and applying the logic behind Star Wars and Indiana Jones....even old themes live on.

Thanks for the wonderful and positive vibes 'monsinjor' and 'ukwizard'. Now, well I don't mind have many times people ask about the stickers, the images are sourced from the net, I then process them in MS paint (Windows desktop accessory) and print them out on photo sticker paper from Officeworks on an ink jet printer. The designs were in my head.....no instructions, I free style build most things.....but in saying that I do test out designs in LDD. My advice would be to start where I started using the modern Lego city building style (like city corner or the bank/TRU store) and then work from there to improve each structure. Plus it's up to you if you choose to tile roads or use ready-made base plates..it all depends on the style and image you are looking for. Brick On everyone ! (updating again within a few days.....I hope)

My opinion is LDD is handy for designing, but I feel this is a building contest and LDD is cheating a little because you can just pick and choose parts plus a huge colour pallet....too much of an advantage. (in saying that.....bowser hose placement in LDD is very hard.....I've tried it. We'll let 'LCM' decide.

Hmm, I forgot the minifig contest.....yes, I wonder what I could come up with ! Oh, well......just a distraction......it's all about the way you fight a war !

Thanks for the positive vibes for the w-i-p's 'Xyver', and I now see what 'Aussie BJ' is up to....I suggest a custom sticker for the bowser gauges like I do.....it just adds the real factor. Battle On everyone !

I'm currently working out where the servo will sit in my layout.......test shot. Of course it will go on the usual 48x48 in the end with some pavement to drive vehicles in and out of the servo. More to come.....keep watching !

My advice is don't do the 45 dollar freight, go the top dollar one......my shipment went missing a few years back and Lego had to resend it DHL in the matter of a few days. Pay the extra for the track and trace.....it's worth it especially if you are spending that much cash !

Now, I'm even more impressed with this build and it has it's own canteen.....cool ! Keep going 'rriggs' and Brick On !

I would have to redesign the whole building and costs would blow out......I still have other things to finish first.
