I find interesting that some years TLG pretty much ignores Halloween, but in some cases they double down the releases It happened in 2015 with Scooby Doo and CMF Series 14 And this year with Hidden Side and the Creator Haunted House I dont get why they release sets that overlap with each other this much. I'm not sure myself about getting the HS castle anymore, cause the Haunted House looks great

It has to be real. The ghost minifigure leaked a while ago. I hate to complain again about the art box... but I think it's a little too plain for a Haunted House. It could have been much better...

With regular series one has to be more open minded when it comes to rehashes. Nowdays kids werent alive when Series 1 came out or they were just babies. So, of course being LEGO a toy for kids, they have to think on them first. Some timeless archetypes like clowns, knights, cowboys, etc will return again and again For example, moaning myrtle's hairpiece has cheerleader writter all over it. So I wouldnt bat an eye if there is another cheerleader in Series 21, which would be new for nowdays kids. Look at the brading of the series. Currently the number of the series no longer appears on the box and I would be suprised if it dissapears all together soon. TLG didnt even acknowledged Series 20 for being a milestone on itself like Series 10. They only did a (lackluster) celebration of the decade but that could have been any series depending of the timing. It just happened to be Series 20 We -long time collectors-have to pick whatever is new for us or interests us for pieces or such, but that time of groundbreaking series is long gone Im afraid

At this rate, Ninjago will have a bigger rogue gallery than Spiderman and Batman. I dont watch the TV show so I dont know if they have ever addressed this. Like... have they asked themselves why is everyone trying to kill them? .... As for new villains. Yokai will be interesting for sure. Also a take on the tokusatsu genre with giant monsters similar to Godzilla and such Finally I'd love to see an all-female villain team. Like some sort of... I dont think these will be China exclusive. Not after seeing the pics. Its been pointed out by some of us that this looks very similar to Ninjago (as the whole theme) ... and Ninjago works in USA and Europe. So, one would think MK will sell there as well It would be odd if TLG dont try it at least for the first wave After the reveal of the whole Ninjago 2020 wave, you can see they went in a complete different direction this year. Its easy to assume the reason is that Ninjago and MK will be sharing shelves
