LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Robert8 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It all depends on one's taste For me Super Warrior is one of the highlights on Series 20 but the Brotherbricks review called him a "filler" In my opinion Batman Movie Series 2 was a waste, with the exception of the dolphin. But I recall people calling it the "best series yet" when it came out Also I clearly remember people complaining on facebook because Series 19 didnt have enough City characters. But for me, it was the complete opposite. -

Yeah that's what I meant but you explained better. The january series would be the superheroes slot. One year Marvel and the next year DC -
I wonder if the otter and hare will appear here as regular animals One should expect them to appear in a City set first, but you never know...

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Robert8 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well, I expect DC and Marvel to take turns. I don't think they would release 2 superheroes series back to back. So, let's say that would be the January Series: Either Marvel or DC The next spot (May) should be Disney or Harry Potter. I think both will get a third one. Disney might even get a 4th, but I don't see HP getting more than 3 And if they get the Star Wars license of CMFs.... I think that would be 1 series per year. At this point it's more than proven that SW fans buy whatever TLG throws at them. At this point there is a collection of (I don't how many) Millenium Falcon versions. And that's a huge set. Can you imagine CMFs? They can make Luke yawning, Luke sleeping, Luke eating, Luke crying, Luke thinking, Luke having a seizure..... and they would fly off the shelves. That would take the September spot every year When I said I think Series 20 might have been the last regular one, I wasn't complaining or anything, it's just that it does look that way -

They haven't posted it, but the pictures are already on their Flickr -
Maybe MySpace can be added as well

No. It will be Barbara Gordon and her father in the main roles The Bartgirl movie will be part of the DCEU, so at least one LEGO set should be expected

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 20. Rumors and discussion

From the Brickset review: -
Hi No, I haven't. TLG don't accept CMF submissions on LEGO IDEAS and such In my opinion, the characters that you mentioned are very common ideas and they look nothing like the ones I made. So, it doesn't surprise me if more coincidences like those appear in the future
-
WB is going ahead with the Batgirl solo movie. And it won't be rated R So you know what that means...
-
Has TLG ever detailed what the review consist of? Because it seems right now LEGO Ideas is the only theme where we can get sets that aren't present day setting City is present day of course. Same with Ninjago, Hidden Side and from the leaked Monkey Kid figure, we know that theme will be present day as well. Even Creator sets are set on present day. I wonder if part of the LEGO Ideas review includes "testing" the set with kids. Like showing them pics of the project or something. We know from interviews and such, that these testings play a huge part on whether something becomes an official LEGO product or not. (For instance, they've said they had interest on steampunk stuff but the testing didn't do well and that's why it didn't happen) Because I wonder why the testing on sets like Pirates Bay and Medieval Blacksmith goes well, and yet TLG can't bring themselves to produce historical themes anymore?

xxix5 Thanks for the suggestions but I'm not interested on making a Marvel/Disney CMF ------------------------------------------ I didn't know Matching-Costume Dad had so many fans here. I hope Matching-Costume Mom won't dissapoint

It'll take time to get used to that figure It's like a weird hybrid between a minifigure and a BrickHead But other than that I think these are pretty neat The castle is the best one so far for sure
-
Excuse me What does this mean?

Hmmm I feel like that box art is missin something... could it be...... THE SET ITSELF?! What the heck LEGO? That art looks great but it could have been like a poster or something included with the set

I swear this looks like a "Who can post the crappiest pic?" contest

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours

I've seen several people saying Series 15 was the last "great one", but I think it was Series 16. That one was awesome. To each its own, I guess -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Future Series Rumours
Robert8 replied to r4-g9's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'm starting to think Series 20 might have been the last regular one Marvel and Star Wars can have like at least 3 series each I can see Disney getting at least one more. Same with Harry Potter Depending on how the DC Comics series did, that one might get another one It seems there are not a lot of spots left -
