Ooo, Thabks for that link Vader, I've never seen it before.

I like your idea Mr. Phred, it's clever and nifty, and I wish you luck in your endeavor. I believe you were in the middle of typing a sentence Mr. Tiber.

Welcome to the forums Mr. Xyston, and what a nice ship you have there! I agree the color scheme could be little less variegated but I love the amount of detail (I love detail), It's good to see such a well thought out "greebling" technique, 1x1 cylinders and cones, those small fence peices, and the spears are a nice unique idea. I also like the foward keep, a nice original addition too. I agree with Phred, all the bright colors give a kind of Indigo Islander look to it. Although I don't like the blue lanterns, because I don't like blue lanterns on any ship, I don't mind green, red, or yellow but blue seems weird to me. As for a name check out these sites, link, link, and link. Keep up the good work! *y*

Mr. Tiber, do you only have 14 guns in total? So will you go on a BL shopping spree to supply the Acheron? It was probably a good idea to destroy her, nice MOCs are always hard to disassemble but it's good to move on to new and better things, besides it is permanently preserved in all its nautical glory on Brickshelf for the world to admire. Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention I got my new black rifle in 7113 Tusken Raider Encounter.

The harbor in 2007 is a cargo dock, I'd love a fishery harbor or it's equivalent in crab or lober. A line of restuarants with different cuisines would be great too, with lots of exotic acessories forming a detailed atmosphere. Don't we already have a couple of these? Oh yes, much crueler and currupt than drug dealers, drug vending machines (?), and nightclubs (a parliament building with politicians might be pretty nasty too :-P ). Lego won't do a brewery either. Nice one. It's sad, but it couldn't be more true.
-
Yes, Indeed. Lego must have stolen your idea of using those two sentry shoulder armour (I can't spell that word in American off hand :-D ). As for crab parts I was talking about that in my other post, one of the only big reason that was driving me to contemplate choosing this was the crab, which is surprisingly organic looking. But alas, the crab was the smaller portion of the set and as already stated I'm tired of subs (especially yellow ones). Thank you to everyone who participated in my humble little thread. I bought the crane last weekend (Along with Airplane Mechanic, $5 Aqua Raider, and street sweeper, which are also coincidentaly primarily yellow) but I did not open it yet.

I have a town close to me named Norwalk... 8-| That would be heaven for some people I know, nomatter what the cost. X-O |-/ :-P But wow mate that's pretty astounding, must be terrible! Ok, on to brighter subjects, I hope to see some new pictures of your plastic baby when you are up and about again.

I guess you really are because I have no idea what you were trying to just say! I hope you feel better soon! *sweet*

So that's your ship. A while back I came across it and thought it was a very good example of a large ship with a brick-built hull so I posted it along with that third ship you mentioned in the Best Pirate Lego MOC ship thread.

Interesting indeed, I though all the rifels have the "new design" becuase that's the only type that I have (I have one new black rifle and my MISB Arkham that I will problably open soon has two new brown rifles). Now that I look at the old one, I think I like it better.

Ah, OK thanks. Although if that is the case the syntax sounds a little strange on Norro's part. P.S. shouldn't this be in general Lego Forum?

Watched oo7 last weekend. X-D I loved it and think it is one of the better Bond films. The beginning scene where Bond chases the monkey gone human around, up and down that building under construction was pretty clever and I also liked how this one was more "down to earth" (literally; Moonraker was insane). Interesting things I noticed include; A. No feminine silhouettes dancing in the beginning credits! X-O ( X-D ) B. The only time the classic Bond theme song was played was in the end credits! X-O ( :-) ) C. Sony must have payed millions! Bond, Le Cheffre and M all have Vaio laptops and Vesper has a Sony Camera, all which got close-up shots! (This oo7 has a Vaio Laptop too, infact, he uses it to type all his posts, including this one)

What does the first "B" mean in I tried once just for the heck of it, Thus I ripped open the bag later (and applied the immensley hated stickers!).

It seems I have missed Imperial Scouts' reply! Sorry if my comment seemed offensive, I didn't mean it to be thus I put the laughing face that now does not display with the smilie upgrade (I guess you didn't catch my hippocrit comment either). X-D

Aqua Raiders Review set 7774: Crab Crusher
oo7 replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ok, thanks for the clarification. Makes sence. The small probe bot is a dumb little reminant of Alpha Team MDS but I thought it was a nat detail how it slides out of that little compartment in the back of the manning tower. So a 10/10 set would be like 6383 Public Works Center or 6277 Imperial Trading Post? Maybe even....Hmmmm.....what's the biggest Fabuland set......... -
I was playing around with the first couple to figure out the timing and I answered a few without reading them. But I'm problably still a shop owner anyway. Am I wrong to say the question like "Which hat color was not in any WW sets; Black, blue, brown, light gray" was confusing? I thought that meant all hats in general, I picked light-gray but the answer was black. Now that I look on Bricklink, I see you meant Cowboy hat as they were only in basic sets, which surprises me. I didn't look at the end stats the first time just the checks and Xs on the question screens. I went again and got a 16.

The whole head is too large compared to the rest of the body.

Favorite: I like the tricorn better than the bicorn as it has greater versatility. Runner up: Tricorn with a nice looking versatile torso and nice peg-leg. Least Favorite: Hate the color coordination and I tend to think the striped "tank-top" is unrealistic. The red pants look so stupid... Runner up: I like a peg-leg put this is taking the pirate cleche'd stereotype way to far, peg-leg, hook hand AND eyepatch, yuch. I have the same problem with Redbeard but at least he has a cool torso, this guy has very ragged, ripped-up solid red "uniform" with very formal epaulettes comletely intact on the shoulders. I also wish the Jolley Rogers could stay on the flags and off the cranial attire, I'm one for realism. The knife doesn't bother me all that much. Now see how the hats in those two pictures are facing opposite directions, most of Bricklinks' pictures have the hat flat in the front. Now am I mistaken or is this "backwards", isn't the hat supposed to be worn with a piont facing forward like shown in the first picture?

There she be. :-) Ah, very nice.

You got the :-| and the :'-( switched there mate. The big smilies are good but I'm fine with the small ones too. I'm glad you finally got rid of those scalped rebeards and made way for Brick Miner's Icons.

I had this question awhile ago but I found an old poll with these and a few others, BSB won... Anyway, Phes, Could you pease put a poll in ukdevilz's post, it would be of benefit to everyone. ;-)

Whoa, someone drank too much coffee this morning... Agreed. Although I like the deciduous, since it so small you could think of it as a small jungle bush thing, the name is escaping me at the moment... Dont forget these! And these work well if used correctly; :-P
