  1. :-D Do you know what a morion is Mr. Scouts? It is the metallic cranial attire of the majestic Imperial Armada! (a.k.a. The Spanish Inquisition)
  2. Ah, I know what you were preoccupied thinking about which caused your post to be so hesitant. >:-) X-D (Although it's really more of a mater of who than what) X-D Ahh, it seems it's time to boast my latest MOCing endeaver, because you know You better watch out You better not cry Better not shout I'm telling you why Santa Claws is coming to town! He's making a list And checking it twice; Gonna pick out who's naughty or nice Santa Claws is coming to town! He sees you when you're sleeping He knows when you're awake He knows if you've been bad or good So now run for goodness sake! Oh! You better watch out! You better not cry Better not shout I'm telling you why Santa Claws is coming to town! Santa Claws is coming to town!
  3. Next Saturday night, we're sending you Sorry, I couldn't help myself. :-P So is that for both tricornes, bicornes and morions? Both of us should have been in bed a while ago, shouldn't we have, Mr. Scouts? :-P
  4. There aren't pocket breathing devices nowadays either..... but there is no need to get so frustrated my dear Mr. Scouts. Anyway, back on topic, I am curious to what plumes everyone likes in their hats. Here are the choices; Disregard the color of these samples but feel free to tell us your favorite color whether or not it is in any pirate sets.
  5. Holy Cow! Great work Norro, I love all the meticulous detailing especially the cliff faces and underground ruins (which strongly remind me of Moria *wub* ). I'm no expert, but to me the architecture seems more Mideval than Viking... Does anyone else agree? 8-| X-O *wacko* X-O
  6. I wanted to see if someone could refain from posting the most obvious answer ever and be creative. Test Result: Negative. Although it's no big deal. I'll try again. Neither masks protects against gamma radiation.
  7. Shucks, I was hoping for an imploding old house. :'-( X-D Anyway, that mask doesn't pretect the wearer from
  8. Neither did I, but it's a good thing that it did. I think there are 1000s of MISB sets left out there and my decission on whether I should open a pirate set if I get one is HELL YES!!! 8-o
  9. Looks like you missed;

    Striped pirates

I agree with Sting and Tiber, I personally don't like corresponding colors in historical minifigs. Lego likes to do this with all lines that have generic 'secondary-character' minifigs including Castle and Vikings. The instuctions for Viking sets show that the bluish torso goes with the bluish legs, the greenish torso goes with the greenish legs, etc. This is not historically accurate as vikings had no heraldry and wore whatever they wanted, and they didn't care how it looked or if it 'matched' X-D (just like pirates). Obviously, this can be fixed very easily. I just posted this pic in response to one of your questions in another thread, Mr. Tiber, and it applies here too. Those torsos are all right but this one is much similar to the original pirate ones. This torso is only in Paridisa sets and Century Skyway Airport. Here is the BL entry. Yes.
  11. Nice ship Mr.Dulin! It is so nice to see a tall ship from the end of the sailing age with a quaterdeck instead of a sterncastle, adds great variation as most MOC ships out there are from a much earlier time period. I love the realistic color scheme, abundant details and I see your using some of your 4+ hats in there X-D (the admiral is OK but the rag hats looks a bit weird!). Does she have an interior? Heehee I was too lazy to find a trans-clear but trans-light-blue works. The correct term is Long boat, it's a double-banked long row boat not to be confused with a Longship; nor with a narrowboat.
  12. Thank you! I don't have any X-wings but I see what you mean now. Although I think you would call it the body as the nose would be two of these placed horizonally. (Or this but close enough)
  13. I am sorry sir, but I must confiscate your nail file as it is forbidden to ensure flight security. Along with your hair-spray, deoderant, water bottle, tooth paste, shampoo, chap-stick, nail-clipper, shaving cream and applesauce. *sweet* That hour is long gone and you'll never have it ever again. Hooray for Mr. Hinckley! Lets give him a nice, big, warm round of applause!
  14. I shall provide you with an illustrated guide thanks to Jipay. ;-) http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...indpost&p=94518
  15. Welcome to the forums John, I am sure you'll have a nice time here. Well you can start by looking here. ;-)
  16. Yes, I will ceratinly enjoy the Traveling Johnny, one of the major points I'm looking forward too. X-D It was tied 19 to 19, and when Paul made his post someone voted for the Crab but now it is back tied at 20 to 20. I wonder who voted for the crab in between. As I said before I bought the crane already but it's still MISB as I type. Since I spent over $50 they gave me a cute carton box that Dunkin Donuts must have donated (I'm being sarcastic here) that I can fill up at the PaB next time I go there after Christmas. 8-
  17. Errr, no.... since he's been back he has created countless senseless and irrelevant topics about four of which have been locked including the one that was later deleted. Most of the time no one can understand what he's trying to tell us and he's sent me some irritating unintelligible PMs too....I still don't know why.....But no need to start arguments, he's chambered now... I think this topic is his idea of a joke. It should be locked right now.
  18. X-D I did exactly this a while ago. Although I don't know what you mean by X-wing nose technique. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...indpost&p=85527 I wouldn't call this a boat, more like ship.
  19. Are you talking to me or Nodra? (Although I don't think I could get drunk enough to even contemplate buying that X-D ) Either way all the people who have posted here so far live in the states. :-)
  20. I thought 7882 Shark Attack was Aqua Raiders in which case it shouldn't be there but then I find it's DUPLO?!?! Why is that there? I love the viking line but the Viking Army is better than that one up there, too much bioncle not enough minifigs. I can't decide between the two Ferrari sets. Both are well designed sets* although I personally would buy the Finish Line as I have the Enzo. *Excluding the combination of yellow and flesh tone minifig heads in one set.
  21. Ugh...as soon as I looked at this poll I knew the answer for the last KK, King's Castle, and after a while I just picked SV for Exo-Force. But I have absolutley no idea what so ever for the bionicle catagory as I know nothing about any of those and I don't like them, so I can't vote at all.
  22. I've seen this thing before. They sent these out to all the Lego stores for kids to guess the peice number for a prize. Although those across the pond can't buy it as it only ships to the 48 contiguous states. I am guessing the three sections come pre-essembled and glued although they really should add a more bit more description for such an expensive 'toy'. I'd love to meet someone who wants to give there 6 year old a 500 pound $27,000 Lego statue. :-D
  23. Since the mouth is open it wouldn't be a smirk, Bricklink classifies it as "Moustache Pointed, Black Hair and Sideburns, Open Mouth". I really like the head, it's suits the job very well. Ah, I see :-D . In that case I wish you luck and look forward to seeing Lunar Studios' debut soon. *sweet*
  24. Nice Mailbox. I want that house. So the original 'House' picture is either an alternate model which is strange, as all the others are the box models or they put up the preliminary pics by mistake, as Lego seems too have a tendency to do that lately.
  25. Too late it's gone again (US). I'm sorry to hear about your technical difficulties Alex. Maybe a cute little vignette will brighten your day. ;-) :-D
