This thread talks alot about Revolutionary War Sets and some civil war too. 4J brought up some very good pionts, wars and marketing schemes don't mix to well. Lego would want to generalize the armies so it appears to be just any army of the time period, as Lego has never been very attentive to historical accuracy. There always needs to be a definite "bad guy", just black and white, very biased neutrallity. And I believe the sets of a civil war theme will be very limited because Lego has already used many potential ideas in the Western theme. I too think it is great idea but unfortunatley will never happen and it is better off that way.

That sounds like your talking about the sets' baseplates there, I think Mr. Tully was describing these sets as "bases" like a headquarters or something of the such and asking us which set we like the most. But were is that poll?

The At-St might not be that bad, I really need to see it in person to tell for sure. Does the "real" ILC have bombs and missles? I wouldn't think so, I thought it was just a drop-ship... Last year we played "Des Colores", a spanish folk song, and our teacher let two violins (both boys) play their guitars after they nagged at her for a while (The teacher later kidnapped a trumpet player from the 'band' X-D ). Everyone thinks playing non-traditional orchestra instruments is 'cooler'. Out of our two acoustic bases the male one grabs at any chance he can get to play the school's electric one, which is most of the time. But seriously if she wants to steal 'band students' for select songs, why don't they just permenatly combine us? :-| Right now I am listening to the noisey shifting of a mound of miscellanios Lego bricks.

None of those are really shipwrecks so I think Mr. Brickster is just confused. I also think this set is the best of line, it has the most realistic submarine and the green snakes are great, alot more realistic than red. There was only one in HP Graveyard Duel, so right now it's pretty rare. It also adds pretty intricate botanical detail to any forest MOC.

Nice find Steff! It's good they built a place to attach the lightsabers, there is nowhere to put them in the JSF with limits it's playability. Look at all those brown/orange 1x1 slopes! *wub* There's really nothing new here...

It's true, the surprises for the next two days are ruined on the first. You opened the one in the top right corner, didn't you. Each door has small yellow numbers but as far as I can tell they are numbered completely randomly. Brickshelf was down a bit ago but it's back now.
