  2. One can use hinge bricks like these to make the octagonal shape and then it can be attached on a combination of SNOT tile and studed plate or brick. 7019 Viking Fortress uses this hinge technique (hinges are in black) for each large wall which all connect with these red peices. Thus, it has a very nice looking and original octagonal layout. Way to go TLC!
  3. This fellow named 'Infyrana' made it. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=121455 45 degrees vertical or 45 degrees horizontal?
  4. What a mean looking rhino! You did a nice job and he looks surprisingly similar to a Star Wars Gamorrean guard. That dark red shoulder armor looks pretty clever.
  5. Real sets, fake descriptions. And yes, we have several of these threads.
  6. That would be the right thing to do but since SWL is now banned now and not coming back it doesn't really matter anymore. Maybey this topic should be locked. It should be in Lego Theater in the first place.
  7. Heh. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...?showtopic=5704 (closed) BTW, Why don't we have a little "LEGO
  8. That picture was originally from a brickshelf gallery which I believe was a Eurobricks member but it was very large and it had a big background, so I did some digital alteration and uploaded it to my gallery. Now I can't find the original picture for the life of me. :S
  9. Ok, that makes perfect sence now, I thought it was supposed to be a serious history/castle thing.
  10. *y* *y* Good find, Brickster. I like all the details and the overcrowdedness. That SNOT ship is very creative and interesting but I too wonder why they are guiding a horse onto a cart. Now that I look through his gallery I notice I've seen his nice CCC4 entry before.
  11. Mr. Brickster, how nice it is to visit us here with this MOC in hand! It Looks good *y*, fairly simple but still nice. The tower has a nice color scheme but I'll have to think about the smaller buildings a bit more. I hope you can get some more pictures of it, as that is all I can say right now. Cool "Box Art" BTW.
  12. Yes, that would make sense as someone who collects MISB sets spends a lot and usually wouldn't want to buy duplicate copies of everything as that is usually very expensive. Since these people don't open any pirate sets there is no point in them coming here and posting here about MOCs and minifigs and such since they have almost no knowledge of them. Thus, it only takes a die-hard Pirate fan with cash to spare like you Phes to do this, thus you are the only one to vote the way you did because to one else here is as obsessed as you (In a good way).
  13. Welcome to the forums BrainBox. So, do you play tenor horn in your school orchestra or school band? I see you were in a desperate need of good ideas on that last one and got lazy. :-P Helping Captian Tau with his dirty work? X-D

    PSP

Welcome to the forums PSP, I hope you have a good time here. Nah, I think it's got to be in Krungthepmahanakornamornratanakosinmahintarayutthayamahadilokphopnopparatrajatha niburiromudomrajaniwesmahasatharnamornphimar- navatarnsathitsakkattiyavisanukamprasit. Haha, I am four days older than you Grevious!
  15. What a good idea executed in such a nice MOC! It looks like the settlement of Jamestown or Roanoke. Now to be really nitpicky; I don't think the Scorpion Palace rug makes a good British/French flag. Inuit...
  16. Hmm, I beg to differ. http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...owtopic=342&hl=

  18. Yowsa! That's big! I don't like the enourmous cliff dwelling parrot flock (that seem to be very unaturally spaced). Bo has also has made a nice POTC 2 Diorama! *y* Although I thought Jack was running through the water not the sand, right?
  19. Kid Friendly (Not kind friendly :-$ ) doesn't necessarily mean R-rated, it's just not the kind of things small children would be interested in. Hitchhiker's deals with a lot of obscure and complex philosophies and exotic and witty humor, thus creating a very intricate plot with many multi-dimensional characters. This is not what exuberant little jumping beans want. They want black and white, good and evil, with constant edge-of-your-seat action. It is the only way to manage their miniscule attention span.
  20. I was being sarcastic, thus the :-P . That is problably the shortest post I've ever seen and I found it a little funny.
  21. LOTR - way too old Eragon - too late, I've seen sooo many trailers and videogame commercials lately Jurassic Park - too old and already experimented with Hitchhiker's - Not kid friendly enough (I thought there was only one Slartibartfast) HTA & HALO - Definatley not kid friendly but what are they going to make with GTA, It will just be Lego Racers all over again plus a guy with a bat tommy. POTC3 - It's pretty much to late to get it now, If TLC wanted it they should have got it as soon as the first one came out, but hey one is better than none I guess. I can't think of any good licenced themes that lego could do. Err.... But on February 23rd, 2007 you can go watch Jim Carrey compulsively obsess over The Number 23!
  22. I guess it does because I coundn't find it either. X-D I think I thought it was just a general Islander. The URL now bookmarked is much better anyways. What a spammy post! :-P
  23. I have just notice how much I use and want need a winking smilie. Maybe someone should make one until then I'll just keep the original URL in my favorites or in MF terms, 'Bookmarks'.
  24. Ok, sounds good and you're welcome. *y*
  25. Cool, a mini 4953. X-D But I have seen the cement mixer somewhere......hold on, I have a hunch......Ah ha! http://shop.lego.com/ByCatalog/onlinecat.aspx?c=21 Go to pages 60-61. So it appears they are real world-wide releases. That front-end loader is pretty nifty...
