  1. If it is another, different building you don't need the exact height, so you can loosely base it off of these if you want or copy them exactly if you want...... 1st floor - 9 bricks & 1 plate (excluding the very front) 2nd floor - 8 bricks & 4 plates (again, excluding the very front) 3rd floor - 7 bricks & 6 plates (excluding about one third of the width off front)
  2. Wishing a feliz Cinco De Mayo to all who are thankful for General Ignacio Zaragoza's victory on May 5, 1862, over the French expeditionary forces in the Battle of Puebla! The whole rebellious folder once moderated! Mexicanos, al grito de guerra el acero aprestad y el bridn. Y retiemble en sus centros la tierra, al sonoro rugir del can. Y retiemble en sus centros la tierra, al sonoro rugir del can!

  6. Happy 900th 32nd Birthday! And to make up for my welcome to the captain; Joyeux anniversaire
  7. I do believe the brick testament is a little fun and a good idea, but like Phred nicely pointed out, it's much more graphic than it needs to be. It really does have good potential but the reverend* could have executed it better. *Wasn't there some rumor about this title being a joke? I'm still skeptical.... 8-|
  8. I believe there has to be someone around here with the abaility to change it... ;-) Exchange on! I believe you are correct... *cough**cough*
  9. Good question......let's say it's a national historic landmark which is hosting a historical reenactment today. ;-) X-D
  10. Lovely. X-D Seriously, some of the best I've seen. Thank for for posting these, Commander. Very cool.
  11. If they were they'd be on the frontpage so........no. ;-) No pictures yet.
  12. Oooooo! Ships? Dock? You wouldn't happen to have a picture or two, would ya?? :'-) (I'm glad you're port has made a resilent return *y*, that sounded terrible.)
  13. :-D :-D :-D Now who are the two members who voted for mine as best overall while I was gone?
  14. It makes the baseplate look a little better but I still don't like it. He also uses it in this crude 4+ Pirate fort: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Noddy/1-rozne/l02.jpg And is that one of those cheap Chinese pirated Lego clone parrots I see in there?!? 8-o
  15. Hokay, here are some pictures I took today of my modified Imperial Trading Post integrated into my city. My camera must have been running out of battery as I took that last one.....and others that I didn't post.... 8-| Anyway, I'm particularly proud of this one: X-D
  16. Here are some pictures I took today of my modified Imperial Trading Post integrated into my city. I wasn't completely sure If I should make a new thread, so I figured this is safer. My camera must have been running out of battery as I took that last one.....and others that I didn't post.... 8-| Anyway, I'm particularly proud of this one: X-D
  17. Welcome, how nice it is of you to introduce yourself with such a lovely diorama. *y* I would like to know it there is any reasoning behind the jagged edges of the cut out, or was that just the way it turned out given the available bricks? It also does look like the ship parts were just "thrown togther", is this the case, or are they secured to the baseplate?
  18. Thank you, Mr. Athos. Yes, the piece conforms perfectly, but do you know which it is? X-D

    My factions

Nice troops, especially those royal guards, they're a very refreshing change. I too like the purple, it's very majestic. >8-) :-P
  20. Nice, it's like your entry for the knight contest forty years older. X-D
  21. Very cool! You've captured a great atmosphere here, and the stonewall background is a definite contributor. I assume the Rebel Blockade Runner made this feat quite a bit easier? I think there's a ship or two of yours in the MOC ship index.
  22. I see both of you have clearly missed the fact that The Brickster will kill all of us with his genuine Odd Job hat. ;-)
  23. So beyond the amount of matter near our galaxy and untold amounts of others there is empty space.....so as the universe expands the matter either becomes less dense or the space increases......hmmm....... If there was no matter there would nothing to compare it to; being space. If everything was space there would be no matter to determine its boundaries. It's more philosophical than scientific. ;-) If it doesn't exist calculating it's mass would be quite useless. The statement that ALL matter has mass and occupies space is an unproven 'myth'. Matter is made atoms, which are made of protons, neutrons, and electrons. Protons and neutrons are made of quarks and leptons. According to some models quarks and leptons, the fundamental particles of matter, are dimensionless points. Therfore, theoretically, they cannot occupy space. 8-| But we know the universe is infinite! :-P Yes, I meant that the universe would become less dense and the mass would spread out or the space would increase.....which doesn't seem correct.....but something has to be generated to make the universe 'larger' otherwise. Which still doesn't make sense as it's already infinite. :'-( I don't think so.....check out these: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuum_hypothesis http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleph_number http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beth_number I also know that 0.9999... is exactly equal to 1, but I'm not sure where or if that ties in.
  24. Yay, I have a hat! :-D Thank you, Commodore!
