I bought this set after finding a ten-pound note on the floor in the middle of the road. It is great but the wings keep falling off mine.
-
I hope the CTT does not have as it would make it rather a boring set. In fact, I hope it has Aayla Secura or Ki-Adi Mundi with ample clones.
-
What's wrong with the buzz droid? They look cool in the pics
-
Does anybody know anything about the supposed AT-AT?
-
Yes, and they also have a Jar-Jar Binks mold and a Bib Fortuna mold. Don't even get me started on the Pit Droids. (Yes, I know they're brick-built!) Anyways, back on topic - how can the ARC possibly be 100gbp? Price seems a bit steep for something with about 400-500 pieces. Fifty quid perhaps? One hundred seems incredibly overpriced! (off topic, I know)
-
That still makes me laugh twenty minutes after I first saw it. Good job!
-
Amazing work! I'd never be able to make a base like that! I like the way you've got loose parts around to give it the effect of a base under construction, or is that just the parts you haven't got around to putting in place yet? Put some imperials in next photoshoot unless you finish it and it will look fantastic.

I guess that we aren't likely to know until January. At least that gives us something to look forward to (other than the sets of course )
-
Excellent work! I hope someone from TLG sees this. We could get a set as part of a Blacktron revival! With some kind of futuristic, fleshie, Rebel Pilot jumpsuited Blacktron warrior!
-
This looks amazing! I will definitely get hold of a copy of this, REGULAR edition. Forgive me if this has already been pointed out but the library version is, I presume, to provide stock at public libraries. Of course, I may be wrong!
-
Nice work. A definite buy for me if it were to be made official, as I would love to have an army of those Clone Scout Troopers.
-
That's one amazing piece of work you have there! Forgive me if this has already been asked but how long did it take you to make it? (I haven't read all the replies yet)

What other SW "Battle Packs" would you like to see?
starwarsfanatic replied to BearHeart's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would like to see: Kashyyk Scout Battle Pack with a wookiee warrior and three Kashyyk scouts. The features would be a BARC speeder and a small outpost-style area Droid Landings Battle Pack to go with the above. Would include a droid aquablaster (MOC), and five battle droids. Endor Trooper Battle Pack with four Endor rebels and a bit of forest. Ewok Battle Pack with a tan ewok, a black ewok and two brown ewoks. It would also include a catapult and a hang-glider. Speeder Bikes Battle Pack with an Imperial speederbike and a scout trooper, two stormtroopers and an Imperial officer. Mix-and-Match Battle Pack. Simply go into your nearest M-and-M BP-selling store, go into the special booth and design your very own set! (Don't worry. I know it wouldn't really happen! Just my little fantasy!) -
I mean the minifigs. The reason I'm looking forward to the CTT is because there's a chance of a Kashyyk Biker Scout, which I really would like. Also, I collect Phase II clones, so a CW one wouldn't be quite as good for me.
-
I hope not, for the reason that I collect non-CW minifigs more. I hope that Palp's shuttle is RotS. I don't really watch CW, so I don't know if Palpatine has a shuttle in the series, but a Rots one would be good. With a RotS Palpatine and some Shocktroopers! Perfect for building my clone army.

Definitely the Imperial Landing Craft. I remember seeing it in the store and thinking I wouldn't bother.

If you could revive one production year's sets...
starwarsfanatic replied to Mos_Eisley's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Definitely 2006. I'd love to get 6207, 6208, 6209, 6210 and 6211, as well as the re-released version of the CTT. Also, It'd give me a chance to pick up a few more X-Wing fighters to keep MISB and sell in about ten years' time. Oh, and by the way, I know I'm obsessed with the standard smiley. It's just easy. -
I think that LSW in general has improved (look at the Battle of Endor and Tantive IV sets), but a few sets are outstanding and can never be knocked off the top lot (enter CTT).
-
I never keep my sets sealed. The best example I can think of is last Christmas, when I received the AT-AP Walker. I'd built the set and there was still a large pile of unopened presents under the tree!

Best SW set in the 10 years of Lego Star Wars
starwarsfanatic replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Unfortunately, the three sets that look the best have all slipped out of my grasp (Just wait, CTT, original AAT and Cloud City. I'll get you someday). But I have to say I like the 6212 X-Wing Fighter. It's my third favourite ship (Below the CTT and Slave I, of which I own neither), includes a great choice of figures (where's 3PO?) and has good playability! Unfortunately it takes a lot of work to build (at least for me), and I haven't built it up since I last dropped it on the floor! -
I know my previous suggestion for a Naboo Royal Starship did sound a bit unreasonable with 20+ minifigs, but remember that the MTT had 20, and the Death Star has even more! Anyway, a few more ideas; Rebel Massassi Base About 750 pieces, twelve minifigs: Luke (Pilot), Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, General Dodonna, Biggs, Rebel Technician (2), Rebel Troop (2). Nothing too special - an X-Wing fighter, the briefing room and a scout tower. Droid Factory About 1600 pieces, eight minifigs. Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, Geonosian (2), Battle Droid (2), Droideka. Features are a corridor and the area where Obi-Wan is held hostage.
-
I agree. That really looks out of place. Just buy a baseplate off LEGO.com or somewhere like that for 4-99. It won't break the bank!
-
You're right. The flesh heads don't appear to have made the sale of sets any worse. In fact, if anything they've sold better! It will just be good when LEGO returns to the prequel lines and not CW. The CTT would be spoilt with CW heads. Back on topic, the ARC-170 Starfighter looks good to me. I hope the Captain Jag minifigure has a double-sided head. It would definitely be good for those of us who do not like the orange visor printed on the face. Plus, I missed the last version. I will definitely purchase all sets. I don't see the Garindan minifigure in the Luke's Landspeeder pic, but to me it looks a bit like this... Ghost Pics - Monk of Newby Church LEGO is haunted!!!!!!!

Didn't read all posts and don't know if anybody has already posted this, but with the Daily Mirror Promo poster, at least at the front of the edition containing the poster (I sent off the tokens and haven't got mine yet) Anakin Skywalker was mis-labelled as Han Solo! Not exactly a hard mistake to rectify.

Show Your Army, Navy, and Collection Display
starwarsfanatic replied to BillytheKid's topic in LEGO Star Wars
This is my old army from a pic taken in Summer 2008. I'll take a pic of my current collection and post it soon.
