  1. Truly phenomenal. I've learned a new technique - tile the top of the walls! I've genuinely never done that.
  2. How have I only just found out about this! Alien Conquest - I want sets NOW!
  3. Surely it would be much easier to recreate sets if there were more minifig parts available, particularly heads. There are so many missing most sets are impossible to make!
  4. I've been watching a load of brickfilms recently, from different people, and I've been noticed there are a lot of different techniques in use. One such example is the minifig's walk cycle - some people use three frames, some use six or more. So what techniques do you use? I use the four-frame walk at 8.3fps (yes, I know it's very precise) and I find it gets quite good results, but more or less may also work.
  5. Not bad. I'm actually against customising minifigs myself, but it's things like this which may make me change my mind.
  6. I really have no idea... even though I spent most of yesterday sorting out my entire Lego collection! At a guess, I'd say around 200-300 complete figures, although I've lost and gained a few odd parts since (mainly heads and headgear). In fact, I found one of the old white baseball caps today, lost inside the chair! But this thread has inspired me... I shall soon count out my entire collection.
  7. To be honest, I hadn't even noticed some members HAD titles. I guess you learn something new everyday!
  8. I take my minifigs apart and put them in boxes with no particular method of sorting, but whenever I want to make a film, I put all the heads on a baseplate or some other way I can see them so as to determine a)what colour to use and b)which heads make the characters most believable.
  9. Very good and very moving. Great picture quality and the set is amazing. I look forward to this D-Day thing you speak of.
  10. Good start. I don't have time to watch all the way through right now but from what I've seen so far, I'll definitely be coming back for another look as soon as I can.
  11. Great work. It almost looks as though you've just copied a frame from the movie itself, but it's in Lego.
  12. It is an old MOC. I was unfamiliar with the techniques you describe, and the MOC no longer stands. However, I will bear the ideas in mind for next time.
  13. A new rock piece, like the BURPs and LURPs, only in a different shape.
  14. I didn't want to mix the trees, but that is all I had at the time and since then I have acquired ONE more.
  15. I don't know... No offence, but it isn't the best MOC on the site, HOWEVER it does have a good quality or two. The fire is imaginative and I actually like the design of the flamethrower. Well done.
  16. I prefer the OT myself, but I'll watch the Clone Wars if it's on (I won't search the listings hours ahead for it though) and I actually don't see what's wrong with the PT. Sure, it might not be the same, but I reckon Jar-Jar Binks saved the PT.
  17. That looks AWESOME! Slightly different to those seen in the films, at least as far as colour schemes goes.
  18. Strangely, I actually prefer this to the recent CW ones, as I prefer the live-action movies. Darth Maul looks weird but still. Now all we need is confirmation of WHAT the sets are (but that won't come for a while I guess)
  19. A good MOC, if a little random. I like the building techniques.
  20. Amazing. Just amazing. And that's just the fact you had the patience to do that. I can't wait to see your next one.
  21. Looks good. Can't say I recognise the ship, though.
  22. Inventive new style. Like it.
  23. Awesome, although perhaps lacking a little in detail? Good work, though.
  24. I guess this was more popular than I anticipated. I'll have to make another one now.
