continued from post 822 or so... En Sabah Nur exited the Hall. "Now where'd Grush get to. It shouldn't be too hard to spot an orc around here-" "You there, rogue!" A young halfling ran towards Nur. Rogue? "Please sir, you must come quickly. They're going to kill him!" Nur's eyes narrowed as his brow furrowed. "Who?" "My brother, Bari Brandybrick! HURRY!" The halfling scurried down an alley with En Sabah Nur close behind. Nur saw two hulking humans standing over a small unmoving figure. THUG 1: "Ho ho! Think he's had enough?" THUG 2: "Yeah, he's done. Get the loot." NUR: "Enough! Get away from the...boy." The halfling rose as the two thugs turned towards Nur and smiled. BRANDYBRICK: "What took you so long, Bibbon Koot?" KOOT: "Bleh. I found the first rogue I saw!" At least sixteen figures came out from behind the items in the alley and quickly blocked Nur's exit. BRANDYBRICK: "You look confused, Rogue. Let me explain. My friends and I are in the b'ness of thieving. You Rogues always have something good on ya, especially you heroes completing fancy quests for high rewards. Men, relieve him of his possessions." Nur's hands glowed and the ground began to shake. The color quickly left the thugs' faces as they realized their mistake. En Sabah Nur grinned.

Before he could reach the human and 'elf pair at their table, En Sabah Nur heard his friend Grush enter the Hall. On his way to the orc he nodded with respect to the venerable cleric as if sensing his great power. "Well met, Grush. I will join you in your search for adventure after I have my own adventure to the privy. If you'll excuse me..." As he made his way to the privy, En Sabah Nur removed a small pebble from his cloak and brought it to eye level. "You will allow me to hear the goings-on in the Hall while I am away." En Sabah Nur mumbled a few words and kicked the small rock in a corner. "I hope Scheherazade doesn't sweep that up. I wouldn't want to be listening to the mating calls of cats in the alley all day." En Sabah Nur grinned.

En Sabah Nur materialized from a shadow, never truly leaving Hall and approached the Quest Board. "Hmmm. Perhaps tomorrow..." The dark mage floated up the stairs to see who was dining in the Hall. En Sabah Nur walked amongst the somber crowd until he spotted two mages, one appeared to be comforting the other. "Perhaps I shall join them. It will be nice to interact with and learn from like-minded individu-" A dwarf burst into the Hall. Dwarf: "I am Barur of the Tormek clan..." "Ah, a new player has entered the field. Quite lively too. We'll see how he fairs..." En Sabah Nur grinned.

I have a centaur cleric I've been developing for my LEGO universe but he is yet to be completed. Mages were needed so I created one just for this game.

That dog seems to have had a taste for imp!

En Sabah Nur bows. "A most riveting account of your experiences, friend. My name is En Sabah Nur and I'm afraid I'm not familiar with your tribe although I've come into contact with quite a few. You see, my father was an expert at separating people from their valuables and as you can imagine, we had to move from city to city quite often. Eventually we ran out of places to hide and were taken in by a small like-minded orc tribe. Spent the better part of my youth wrestling with orc and ogre younglings and even participating in their rites of passage. The elder shamans noticed something special within me so conducted spiritual tests on me. I displayed an affinity for their magicks so they taught me their secrets. When my father and I finally moved along, I took what I'd learned and continued my magical studies. Although I favor earthen magic, I'm quite well versed in other forms of sorcery. Behold." En Sabah Nur takes three locks of hair and a small mirror from his pocket. He mumbles a brief incantation as the image in the mirror blurs and refocuses. The party members that left for QUEST #1 are seen entering a pumpkin patch. After a victorious skirmish with some animated pumpkins the image blurs and refocuses again. This time the mirror displays an elf ranger from QUEST #2 talking to a dog. The mirror blurs again then briefly shows the party from QUEST #3 surrounded by colorful mages before returning to its normal reflection of the Hall...

Not often surprised by anything, En Sabah Nur couldn't help his curiosity when the ogre entered the Hall. And carrying a bow no doubt! A ranger perhaps? He witnesses the orc called Grush interact with the ogre. En Sabah Nur always had an affinity with the orc-kind and approaches the pair. "Yes Ogre, I too would like to hear of your tales."

OOC: lol En Sabah Nur bows low. "My apologies great sorceress. I only meant to take a strand. Your punishment sounds most appropriate and fair but I do know a quick cantrip that can repair any damag-" Nyx continues to glare menacingly at En Sabah Nur. "Well I see you have many preparations to make so I'll just take my leave..." En Sabah Nur quickly flees from Nyx's sight, cursing himself for not paying more attention to his father's teachings in stealth and thievery.

En Sabah Nur chuckles to himself. "Greetings young Knight. Your armor is quite impressive and you appear to be a capable warrior. Perhaps we shall adventure together some time in the future? My name is En Sabah Nur."

En Sabah Nur silently approaches Nyx. "Congratulations my dear. I know you will lead this eager party to victory in its search for the Ziegfried Matriarch. Fare thee well." :) En Sabah Nur deftly removes a lock of Nyx's hair with his Sangriste Dagger without being noticed. He repeats this behavior with the party members leading the other two quests, Rufindel and Docken. "This is all I need for my scrying spells so that I may follow each team's journey..."

Thankful for a reprieve from watching a chicken run loose throughout the Hall, En Sabah Nur nods his head in approval of Sven's story...

En Sabah Nur reenters the Hall and stares warily at his fellow adventurers. He studies them, assessing their strengths, weaknesses and motivations. He finds a spot to himself to prepare spells for the day. Chosen for a quest or not, En Sabah Nur will be ready for anything...

Oblivious to the mindless chatter going on throughout the Hall, En Sabah Nur approaches the Quest Board and uses his index finger to magically inscribe his name to Quest #3: The Missing Matriarch. He pauses a moment and also adds his name to Quest #2: Looking Through the Wares.
