Hey Flapjack, thank you for taking the time to put this all together. I'd like to be a part of the display with my same minifig look: I am interested to see how the display turns out this year. Perhaps a troll assault on EB members? hehehe LU!

Recent updates have addressed many concerns posted in this thread but there is still room for improvement in LU. It seems new content is released each month which I feel is reasonable. Especially when the new additions are this epic!: NEW Faction specialties! (taken from LEGO Club magazine. Background image is a part of a puzzle where readers had to match the background the the minifig) Two-handed weapons! More So far TLG is doing a good job for their first MMO. LU!

Exactly. They realized the idea wasn't working out, scrapped it, and never repeated it. Yup, it was a fun theme but KK2 was packaged as Knights' Kingdom which was the same name used for KK1. Many initially thought KK2 was supposed to follow the KK1 storyline. With the coming of Fantasy, TLG learned the importance of proper title creation for medieval sets(only ones I follow), especially when differentiating between historical and fantasy. LU needs you!

@Roncanator - I'm sorry about that. When I get PM requests I usually post them here AND in a return PM but I forgot to send you a message. I'm going to have to slow down even more with the sticker production. I'm still transitioning careers from immigration to engineering and it's a bit time consuming. I can shoot for making them once a month. Of course I could be persuaded to do them more often if more members join the fight against the maelstrom in LEGO Universe! ;-) LU needs you!

Yeah, those factions are built for increased survival. I've only played four games so far: once with crabb, one random and two solo (3 out of 4 were wins). I need more EB games! The random group wasn't very fun; two engineer buddies wanted me and another knight to hide in a bush the whole time while turrets took care of everything. Not my style at all. I went on the other side of the map and did my own thing. It's still a fun mini-game. Oh, and I just realized that faster completion times = better loot. Armor over Imagination! (not really)

Well, if you're tired of destroying everything in sight within seconds, I suggest you rejoin the Sentinels! We don't smash as fast but if you want to jump into a group of 20 stromlings, come out alive and do it all without Imagination, the Sentinels could use you. LU!

There is no reason to worry. LU is not dead. The LEGO Group has purchased the staff and trimmed the fat. 20ish employees don't even make up a quarter of the whole NetDevil staff. If there's one thing I've learned from TLG, it's that they fix and learn from their mistakes (cough*Galidor**cough*cough*rainbow knights*cough*). Now that LEGO is in complete control, it's time to sit back, kick up your feet and wait for TLG to shower us with numerous fixes and improvements for this fabulous game. I'm even looking forward to the LU minifigs and sets that I know are on the way! TLG has never let me down before. LU is here to stay!

February 23rd marks the release of the all new LEGO Universe battle instance, Battle of Nimbus Station! (AWESOME!) It will require even more teamwork and strategy than Survival mini-game, has 30 progressively more challenging waves of enemies (this mini-game has an end?), and there are bosses to smash (so you say there's actually a point to the smashing?). There will even be a contest in early March so that gives you a week to learn the mini-game and improve your skills. Contest or no it looks like a lot of fun. Would anyone like to team up for mindless smashing in Caldera Mar for practice? I've only had extensive team practice with Assembly but don't know how well I work with you Paradox and Venture guys. I'm sure a team of Assembly will have no problem with this instance but I'm not Assembly (<3 you guys though). I chuckled because I also came here right now to compile a friend list as I only have you and crabboy as friends in game. I may put something in my profile that has a complete list just to keep track. I have Ventrilo but don't know how to set up a server. My mic is barely functional but if we all get vent I'd have a good excuse to get a new one. LU!

Sounds good, IRONMAN. What's goin' on with the new Faction specialties, are they coming out with Crux or are we only getting the recolored faction armor(which I'm looking forward to btw)? I had a dream the other night that I was a space ranger minifig in real life and some player was selecting armor for me to wear...weird. LU!

Thanks for the competition well wishes. I don't think I placed too high in this one. During my final and longest attempt I had to go wee. I thought I could time a pee break in between stromling waves. Failed. Came back dead hehehe Sorry, I thought I had commented before but the club property looks really neat IRONMAN. The raised area is a fun detail. Did it take awhile to collect the pieces for that sign or did you have them all? It's cool. I think a new and bigger prop is coming with the expansion if we need extra space. @Crabb - I recently teamed up with two Assembly members to kill a bunch of stromlings and felt pretty useless. They were destroying everything before I could unsheathe my sword. There were pets and turrets everywhere. It was like a knight fighting in a magic battle. ASSEMBLY is Overpowered!
