  1. "Alright, no more sleeping on the job, Jensen ( ). You're a sturdy fellow, perhaps you'd like to wade in there first?" En Sabah Nur took a step back and prepared to cast an Earth spell at Living Armour E from the back row.
  2. Moranis Szalinski furrowed his brow as he scrutinized his list. He could wait no longer. A team must be chosen. But who to lead? "I heard that cleric was quite instrumental in the successful completion of her quest though a bit timid in demeanor. I also heard the other one failed his first mission. Not quite what I meant by "experienced heroes needed". A knight could be good. Definitely no to the ranger. Those who think they can converse with animals are loonier than I am." Szalinski looked over the last name. "Yes, perhaps a more aggressive approach is what is needed..." Szalinski returned to the Hall and attached the following note to his quest advert.
  3. "If we have no choice (even if we do) let's send Alf ahead first and see what happens. You barbarians are fearless to a fault, no?" Ratibor frowned. "What?" The mage shrugged innocently.
  4. Alf and Erdathcath finished searching the last room while Ratibor, Jensen and En Sabah Nur stood by the door. "Jensen, how does one train to become a Night Guard? It is a noble profession and provides steady income. Regular working hours beat the unpredictable lifestyle of adventuring, don't you think? Plenty of time to spend with one's family too." Nur looked to the door leading to the second floor. "I've often thought of finding a mate with a big backside and matching bosum..."The mage shook his head and rubbed his eyes as if clearing his mind of a dream. He turned to see strange looks on his companions' faces.
  5. Nur shrugged. "Well, we've found some broken globe pieces."
  6. Nur watched as his questmates attempted to search the guard. "Aye, we need those keys but I don't want to leave him like this. Perhaps there is something else we could do to remedy the situation?"
  7. Yeah, and not ready yet. A few images to take and script/difficulty lvl adjustments.
  8. The barbarian received an incredulous look from Nur. The mage quickly stowed the diamond as the party continued onward.
  9. "Where'd you want to travel to again Erdathcath, the West Wing? That sounds like the place to go next. Yes, I vote for the West Wing." En Sabah Nur grinned. He brought the Diamond to eye level and looked at it from all sides, wondering exactly how to unlock the secrets within.
  10. "I...uh..." The use of magic hadn't come easy to the mage. It was true he studied under orc shamans but En Sabah Nur only really excelled at earth magic. His mentors had directed him to a group of dwarves who showed him the path of Orrick. Under the dwarven tutelage, Nur honed his earthen magic and even increased his ability with fire. As a result of his intense studies, Nur had lost his ability to manipulate the other elements. In his hands, the diamond was useless unless...He looked to the cleric. Perhaps in the presence of Ennoc's chosen disciple, Nur would be able to perform a miracle. "I shall attempt to make use of the diamond but if you Ratibor or anyone want it at the end of our mission, I'll gladly give it up. I'd end up selling it anyway."
  11. "Aye, there is a final door to open before heading back downstairs."
  12. A gnome approached the questboard with a look of worry upon his face. He checked the current sign-ups for Quest 12: Quest #12: Honey, I Shrunk the Youngins! 1. Alexis Fenral, Level 11.5 Ranger (Masked Builder) 2. Ellaria Arbour, Level 6 Cleric (Sandy) 3. Tesni Hightribe, Level 11 Barbarian (Peppermint_M) 4. Hoke Ablesword, Level 6 Knight (UsernameMDM) 5. Dak Nikolus, Level 1 Rogue (darthnihilius) 6. Alexandre le Chevalier, Level 1 Knight (Capt.JohnPaul) 7. Guts Holla, Level 1 Rogue (Scubacarrot) 8. Haldor Skovgaard, Level 4 Cleric (Scorpiox) The nervous gnome left the Hall just as quickly as he'd arrived. His children needed to be found, especially before his wife found out they were missing!
  13. "My dear Bohring, ye wouldn't happen to be responsible for the profanities we've seen along the walls of the academy, eh? I can understand your frustration with the council's inability to hear you so perhaps you communicated with the living world in the only possible means you could, with horrendous graffiti. Please correct me if I'm wrong." Nur walked closer to the ghost as if examining him. "Is it your rage for inept Provosts that sustains you on this plane? Perhaps we could rid the school of Lector so that you might seek some rest. And how were all these demons and undead creatures brought here anyway, a student project gone wrong?"
  14. En Sabah Nur crossed his arms as he leaned against a wall, awaiting the results of his leader's effort to communicate with the ghost. This was definately something weird and it don't look good. A curious tune began to play in the mage's head. Nur couldn't help but create words to go along with the melody. Something about an invisible man, sleeping in your bed?
  15. En Sabah Nur stopped and looked back to the elf. "I thought mages were supposed to be the studious ones. We'll get to your library soon enough. Mayhap we'll acquire a tome or two...as a recompense for our efforts thus far." Nur sneaked a peek at the cleric to see if he was listening.
  16. The mage gave a curt nod and proceeded with the party to the next floor.
  17. "That was my first encounter with the undead. I found it a very...chilling experience. How about the rest of you? Do we have any experts on the afterlife, you perhaps Ratibor? Do you think this academy is haunted?"
  18. The apparition wailed and faded into nothing as it was defeated. The barbarian swung furiously with little to no effect against the party's oppnents. "Watch yourself Alf. Try not to hit any of us with those wild swings." Nur chuckled to himself and targeted Spectre B with an Earth spell from the back row. He turned to the cleric. "Right son of Ennoc, shall we finish this?"
  19. I can imagine the characters swinging wildly, their attacks passing through the ghosts and having looks of wtf on their faces. Let the die roll!
  20. Nice naga body. Do you have any more pictures? Welcome to EB.
  21. Nur's hands began to glow as he chose his target. "I shall attack Spectre C with an Earth spell from the back row. As you suggest Ratibor, none shall gain a free hit against us." With the enemies weak to the earth element, En Sabah Nur knew his luck continued to serve him faithfully.
  22. to the participants! Congratulations winners. :)
  23. Nur nods. "Let us try the door here at the end of the hallway. It must lead to the next floor."
  24. "I do not wish to rush into another gargoyle situation by rushing through the building. I still wish to begin by starting with the doors here."
  25. "Hmm, they must have struck when we were distracted by the stone guardians." Nur takes a closer look at the graffiti. "Since we're in the hall, why don't we check the doors along the way. The night is still young, yes?"
