  1. Your train looks excellently realistic and the use of the different techniques really adds to it. The setting of the train really helps give it an edge as well. Thanks for Sharing with us andybear@hk
  2. Very elegant mikey. An excellent interpretation of an ancient design and you have pulled it off. I like the colours and the simplistic look of the building. Thanks for Sharing
  3. I think it might spoil the fun to have so many Community Builds so close together. Brickdoctor if you want any help then PM me, I will be more than willing.
  4. I am also really interested in hosting the Community Build. It might be a nice change for me. There are many ideas which come to mind when thinking of a topic.
  5. I've only seen one teaser so far and have viewed all of the relative websites. Seems I am missing something
  6. Okay, so this is my first LDD MOC on the site. Coruscant Speeder's by Burman - LXF. I hope to be contributing a lot more to here in the future
  7. Hello Eurobricks. This is my first LDD MOC on the site and I present it too you now. It is a variation of the Speeder included in 'Bounty Hunter Pursuit'. I have made them with some modifications and changed colours to three different colour schemes. You can find the LXF file HERE Hope you all enjoyed.
  8. Agreed. I see a word but that has nothing to do with anything so far. It is fun though to keep guessing.
  9. Hello from Burman, I am sure that many of you see it as a cliché to write an introduction after being on the site for almost a year and a half but since I originally did not make one I think the time is right. I have come to realise over the last few months that Eurobricks don’t really know me and so I hope this introduction will help everybody get to know me. First off, my favourite themes are Star Wars, Pirates and Harry Potter. I have collected and compiled many sets from these themes and others through the years. I am very interested in Mafia games and have been happy to take part or watch all of the Eurobricks games. Currently taking part in Bob the Construction Man’s Red Scare Mystery has been brilliant and watching Def’s Dr. Bloodbrick’s Asylum has been a complete pleasure. Over the last 6 months I have got really interested in Lego Photography especially Star Wars and have been inspired by the likes of Fenris and Smokebelch. The experience has been brilliant and I continue to enjoy capturing different scenes and shots. I have made many MOC’s but over the last year have, admittedly, posted very little. I intend to change this as I have more free time to make more MOC’s and post them on Eurobricks. As for myself, I am an avid fan of Classic Doctor Who (63-89). Over the last few years I have compiled an extensive collection of DVD’s of the series and continue to do so. I am from the United Kingdom. Thanks to everyone on the site for making my experience so brilliant on this site and Good Luck to everyone who is setting out on their Eurobricks journey. I hope to see everyone around the forum soon.
  10. This is actually the second MOC of 2011 for me, it is Cutler Beckett's office from POTC. I tried to interpret my way and use my own design when building this MOC. The MOC itself includes desk, removable Map wall, treasure chest and tables. I have included Cutler Beckett, James Norrington, Soldier and the Cartographer. I hope you like it. Thanks for viewing. I hope you enjoyed.
  11. I got a new camera during the week so have tried out a few shots. Most did not work as I still have to get used to it but I have decided to post this. As you can see there are some smudges on the foreground of the photo.
  12. I was always under the impression that the Classic Pirates forum was designed by a professional company. As said in the link at the bottom of the page it was designed by Hotwebsites. They more than likely have the technology and knowhow to do such things.
  13. I am sure you are still working on the blog right now but I have some suggestions. Lightening the colour would probably make it more welcoming. Centering the forum and spacing it out a bit might help as well.
  14. I always wondered why the Star Wars forum never had it's own blog. I was sure that the interest will prove to be successful and attract a good amount of attention. I see a good amount of posts up so far
  15. Congratulations on the Fellowship

  16. The Jefferson household ehh... Does the family have any veichles? Is there house on the side of the main road or off the road? I would like to know if there are any trees or bushes
  17. Explained above. You cannot view profiles until you have achieved 10 posts. IMO: In My Opinion MOD: Moderator or My Own Design LUG: Lego User Group PAB: Pick A Brick Hope that helps you.
  18. I think some words got mixed up in translation but Thanks for the Review . Another set from the January wave which really impresses me. The minifigure and droid are nice additions and the droid impresses me. The design of the ship is much better than the previous version, as it is not as blocky. The colour choice is also a change to the red. Thanks for the review Igoran
  19. Thanks for the review. I had a negative view of this set until I saw some reviews and it really changed my mind. The ship has a lovely colour scheme, a great way to get dark green bricks, and TLG have done well with getting all the details and shape of the ship right. A must buy for me now and with a relatively cheap price, I may get one now and wait until they go on sale to get another. Again, Thanks for the review Kim
  20. Hello. These decals are nice but I have seen some of them before in our Index. Maybe I am mistaken but are these yours? If they are then they are good and the lines are very sharp. EDIT: I just checked some of the URL's and they come from other designers

    Takeover

This is my first MOC of 2011 and is a small vignette to get me started. It simply shows an alien liquid takeover and explode from a poor astronaut. It was inspired by old B-Movies and 'Venom' from Spiderman. The scene itself is based on some rocks. Enjoy!
  22. Happy New Year Everyone. I hope this coming year is as good as the one last past.
  23. I recently got my Shuttle Adventure and the instructions were packaged like that as well. I would believe that it is only for larger or exclusive sets and not for smaller sets. However, it is really good to see that lego have taken some of our suggestions to mind and have acted. Kudos to them
  24. I hope you had a great day SlyOwl. I wish you lots of luck
  25. Officially you do have to be 18 or over but I think that is you are a sensible age, e.g. 15+, and you post sensibly and are mature then I think exceptions are made on a one to one basis. This, I think is not general to every member.
