Atramor stared down at the archdemon playing card in his hand, and then briefly at Baba's corpse, then Catnip's, then finally back at Hybros. "Hell. No." The rogue steps between Althior and Byblos with the Pandemonicons, and Hybros. His mythril claws, moving and shimmering and very alive underneath a fresh coat of black demon's blood, are still in hand. "I appreciate you wantin' to help your people, mate, but look around you. Byblos, Namyrra, back me the hell up here, you both were in Azzurat, you know what these things are capable. I'll take these two back through that damn portal myself if I need to, but they're NOT stayin' in this world, Hybros. Not after all this." Atramor drops his stolen loot in the pile and gives all his gold to Althior. -

Midnight seemed to be the only thing keeping Baltarok at a reasonable temperature, for the first time since the heroes' visit. Olmstyr and the other Vauno led the heroes out of the city. The baked dirt road was empty. Everyone was comfortable celebrating in their own homes. It came as a slow realization as they trudged onward to the final confrontation with the Wandering Silence: none of the populace would know what they had done today. The assassins were held back with little incident other than the rather 'exclusive' feast...and as they spotted the bridge in the distance, the mural back in the feasting hall came into mind. The battle where Heroica had decided the fate of Baltarok - but only one of the current party members had been present. How much did those they saved really value the hero behind the name? Would the names etched in that stone be remembered for decades to come...or was it merely the ideals of Heroica that carried on through the ages? Heroes wouldn't last forever. Would their ideals stand that test of time? The party finally reached the bridge, as the moon was at its height. "We're here...and at the right time. What was it that assassin told us? We update them after every quest now, I'm not sure when the big change happened in relation to when you last played. I also feel like those permanent bonus consumables have gotten a lot rarer recently. In either case, I doubt that +1 will matter all that much anyhow, especially being that it's on ether.

Looks mostly good - that +2 on your power should be +5 because your Anniversary Medal's gotten stronger. I'm not sure where that extra 1 ether is coming from, if it's from a consumable you should note what it is and where it came from. Also, as a Mystic Knight you should pick up a shield. You totally have a shield already. But, since you're over level 20, you're able to equip three artifacts now, so you might want to throw one of your extras on.

Namyrra was acting in the back row, she should be fine still. Nevermind, I see what happened. Damn. Atramor attacks Marilith and Semyaza from the back row twice unless Marilith is at less than one quarter health, in which case he Decamodifies her from the back row. If he still has a turn remaining he attacks Garuda from the back row with both claws. -
The lack of an Undo button is really painful for clumsy people like myself.

I have some basic ideas of a new game as well but I think it's difficult to overstate how much time and effort things like that involve - it's been a hell of a ride Sandy, and I don't think anyone could've done a better job driving such an enormous game single-handedly for five years while also managing mechanics, angry players, and, right, the entire main storyline all at once. Thanks for all the time you've put forth into this awesome experience.

It still didn't really help. The archangel summoned forth a Heavenly Cross, the blinding light overwhelming Marilith's fire and rays of holy might spilling into the battlefield as she melted into them. Atramor stands ready to Decamodify the archdemon from the back row and then slash Semyaza with both claws from the back row. If Marilith is not weak enough to be decamodified, he attacks her and Semyaza from the back row, and then Decamodifies Marilith. -

Boomingham and Olmstyr smite the eldritch creature as one while Thalion prepares his shield for the final push. Aazy, nearly petrified with terror and helplessness, gets called upon anyway, guiding the dangerously reckless Daske to try and jump onto the creature's back. Soryx's Vanquisher lights up a blood red. "Whatever you are, creature, wherever you hail from, no matter how little of a demon you really are, know this-" Soryx slices off a trio of Irzerkutrah's thrashing tentacles, then lunges forward in the opening he's created, driving his blade deep into the beast's gullet, causing it to emit a gurgling, mind-numbing screech and a lot of eldritch ooze. Special II: The Orc King - Tarokai gives himself a passive 1/6 chance to doom humans, 1/6 chance to hex greenskins, and a 1/6 chance to instantly kill Heroicans for the duration of the battle, and he then immediately attacks. Special III: Inheritor - Tar-Valstyr deals damage equal to the average level of all allies divided equally among the party. One quarter of taken damage is also dealt as insanity damage. I found a pretty useful shortcut in my complete desperation need to fix 150's stats. In the newer versions of MS Word there's a 'Replace' feature letting you search a document and replace (or in this case simply remove) certain phrases - removing bold, italics, underline, etc, is very easy. The only thing it can't wipe out in an instant is color codes. This means an update is coming 150, sorry for the wait but I knew this task was going to take a while.

Well, anyone can 'vye' for a spot as a Veteran. It doesn't really mean anything. There's no problem with changing character constantly, but having your character's personality/relationships change over time is one of the most enjoyable parts of a long-lived game such as this one, in my opinion.
