What kind of self respecting merchant was sympathetic to the guards...he walked around to the other side of the fountain anyway, ensuring the statue in the middle blocked him from the merchant's field of view, glancing at the guards and making sure they were occupied, then looking over at the man he'd encountered the previous night, his voice still low. "Got anything?" he asked ambiguously and quietly. -

Two different numbers are inscribed on each, and all of them seem to be immensely old and brittle, though still sharp. As the heroes divided loot and helped up fallen comrades on the Kingdoms side of the bridge, a pair of figures came forward from the watchtower. Tra-Serral's arms were lined with narrow cuts that had at least stopped bleeding, looking relatively unfazed, while Tarvalk limped heavily, beard matted with blood, his armor torn and similarly bloodstained. "Is there..." the old orc spat out a considerably volume of blood. "...any particular reason for stopping our conquest here, heroes? Many orcs died here at your hands." "We were trying to stop-" "Unless you count yourself among them rather than us, hold your tongue, Olmstyr. You may have brought them here to save Baltarok, but I'm unsure as to their reasons." "...They did what was best for everyone, not just Baltarok." -
"I believe that's where we came in from. I have little doubt this is where these creatures are coming from. If so....we must ensure no more escape."

There are no visible traps. There was no glass in the window, only an oppressing void that seemed to consume Em's hand as he pressed it inward. From here, he could see the pinpoint shaft of light that descended from far up inside what looked to be some kind of tower, and slid downward until reaching a solitary point where it expanded to create the eerie glow the heroes saw now. The drop down to the floor didn't seem to be too far, but the details of what lies down there are too murky to make out.

Everything's quiet for a moment as the heroes take a moment to breathe. Both armies wavered on their opposing shores, but it seemed nobody dared to set foot on the bridge after their display. The Baron led the heroes out into the heart of Zylstra, then pointed them down the only other passage touching the city. This tunnel remained watery until about halfway through. The stone on the walls seemed to become exponentially darker and growth-ridden, a sure sign that this was by far the oldest part of the sewers they had gone through yet. They halted at the end of the passageway. Two open walls stood before them; one matching the others and having been busted down relatively recently. The other one, behind it....black as the void, and untouched, a soft silver glow emanating from within, lighting the otherwise dim sewer. The edges didn't appear to be marked by any tool, and the shape was an almost perfect oval. It resembled more a window than anything. Soryx regarded it in contemplative silence. The only question was, who would enter first?

There seemed to be no hidden passages on the walls. The orange formations, on close inspection, appear to be some sort of fungal growth from the mushroom, producing the glow that lit up most of the room.
