What hacks me off is all of the sets are 150$ USD including the firestation (and Tantive IV for that matter) So why do we get prices from 150$ to 350$ for the same sets.

Yeah the colours are somewhat ugly. CC is still selling for 150 on lego.com... thats so wrong! I would expect the marketstreet to go for 220ish tops though

The Pirate advent calender just showed up on S@H. Very nyce! went up 10$ over last year tho - no huge surprise there. The warehouse is also stocking 3 in 1 starwars sets (rebel speeder, imperial dropship and Mr Vaders tie advanced) 119$ - so no cheaper than buying separate.

I have 2x Endor sets without figures, willing to trade for minifigures of most types :) I'm taking offers. Sold Homeone for 120$ without figures. No vouchers for toyworld! although that would be awesome. They are opening a new one here tomorrow so ill be popping down to the grand opening :)

It is the best lego set I have ever purchased :) For 200$ it is a bargain, for 160$ its a no 'er It DOES have stickers though... but I actually applied my stickers - I liked it so much. (have never done that since the Yellow Castle days) Cal

The market village is by far the superior of the two sets. I sold my Home One's on trademe (kept the figures of course) But my Market village stays! If toyworld has 20% off I will be grabbing another MMV, just for the cows! (and the wenches....) (and the turkey) ... (and the rest)....

I bought one when they first came out - VERY nice set - RRP of 199$ is pretty good too, considering thats the same price as the Troll fortress abomination which doesnt even pretend to have 200$ worth of lego in the box. *Shakes fist*

Yes I am all down with getting another Market Village style building - but as that one already has a tavern it would make sense to make some different buildings. Hows about a Casino! Arrr!

Auction in Dunedin (Toy and Video auction) I will be going to them more often (and buying more!) I bought all the lego they had, only Phantom Menace sets. I have two sets spare for sale or trade . MISB with Pricetags intact, minor shelf wear.

Yep I bought a few large lego lots... 300$ for 20kg last year. It had Two of the original pirate ships (Baracuda and Clipper) as well as some M-Tron space sets, castle sets etc in it. Fairly poor condition, and I am still treating it to get rid of the tobacco smell - so make sure if you DO buy a large lot that it comes from a smoke free home. ABS and the rubber used in tires sops up smoke like a *insert expletive here* I just sold an 8480 MISB for 450$ ... I have one more in played with condition (99% complete (100% maybe - but just to be sure...), Stickers not applied, box intact, manuals intact) EDIT - actually when I say played with condition, it was built once and sat on a shelf.
