Just a heads up regarding the new range of Lego. Most years we get the range after Christmas. We will probably get the second wave first however.

I will be bidding on that minifigure lot if thats ok with you Legoman... I need 5 of the figures for my collection - it would tie off a number of loose ends! :) Unfortunately for others, two are from the Fett family.

Starwars didnt have any special signs up. But they did have 60% off "some" agents and indiana jones.

I notice people were mentioning they are not sure if all of the pictures are real or generated. It appears evident that at least some are generated due to the non-standard poses. Unless these are like the Mcdonalds batman figures. *shudder*

These look absolutely fantastic. I am not sure how I would prefer they do them though... I quite like the idea of random parts per bag, just to give me an excuse to buy a hundred or so. It will also prevent people feeling the bags to get the figure you want. You might be able to feel the hair, but the rest of the figure only differs in print so will be 99% random even to those with micro scales. I will definitely be buying a quantity of these. If they don't come to NZ I might have to talk nicely to someone in the US however. (actually, even if they do come here I might try and buy a few cases from the US seeing as Kiwis pay more for 90% of our Lego) I also like the idea of there being a rare figure or some-such "chase" element, just don't go making a chrome one of each, TLG! I want to get every single one, not just most.

What condition do you need them in? I will delve into my White-lego-buckets-of-doom .

Yes, that one :) Student discount :) Currently my partner is building the Death Star. that thing looks like one of the biggest PITA sets to build. no numbered bags. you have to empty all of it out at the start to build it! Will probably sell it on once she has built it, minus some figures. :)

Just got back from Kmart again... Anyone g ot a spare house I can live in? 4x Battle for Endor , 410$ 1x Deathstar .... I wont tell you the price of that one. ;) Apparently someone had a big layby and they cancelled it an hour before I got there.

bookdepository is our friend! Bad news about the minifig, parts of him are not of the highest quality. However he isnt as bad as some of the other premade figures I have seen (namely the Pirate magnets) The plastic is noticably softer so his arms and legs are not very firm.

Local Kmart was not doing 20% off toys today either... So I took in the brochure "ah... um..... oh.... We are a pilot store, we dont have to follow those prices" Needless to say after pointing out the fact that bait and switch is not particularily legal, I got my 20% off. 2000$ on lego this month, my trademe account is going to be busy if I want to eat! Speaking of Powerminers, horrible models (already on trademe) but the figures are kinda neat - and heaps of specialty parts.

Thats what I do... :) What name do you trade under on Trademe? Endors are very hard to move in complete sets, but the components sell well. The only tricky bit there is how do you send the manual with each one. :) I am about to make a trip to Kmart - I just got a brochure saying it is 20% off all lego from Thursday ... I am thinking maybe they did not know about it until now! Thanks for the offer of sending the bill etc. If it came to that, they would probably look at me blankly and make grunting noises.

Local Dunedin Kmart is not advertising at that price. (nor are they scanning at that price) Must just be store specific? anyone able to confirm?

I have over 4000 ... Well, somewhere around 3900 plus 7 Chess sets, some tic tac toes, advent calendars and a bunch of other unopened sets. Trying to get rid of some of my duplicates though - as technically I probably have around 1000 unique figures - maybe even less.

The pirate impulse sets never made it to any stores that I have seen, so there is a good chance the space police ones will not be sold here. I just ordered a couple from Lego.com :)
